Encanto y tranquilidad en Normandía

Esta cabaña se encuentra en un entorno rural en el corazón de la campiña de Normandía, al borde del bosque, a 5 minutos de la ciudad de Pont Audemer, a menos de una hora en coche de Honfleur, Deauville y Trouville, de Rouen, Caen y Le Havre. Con entramado de madera y techo de paja, está en la misma tierra (2 hectáreas) que los propietarios. Conserva su auténtico encanto normando, pero ofrece instalaciones modernas. La casa tiene capacidad para 6 personas. En la planta baja hay una cocina independiente totalmente equipada, comedor y sala de estar con una gran chimenea. Una habitación doble y baño / WC completan la planta baja. Arriba, un gran rellano conduce a dos dormitorios, cada uno con 2 camas individuales, y un segundo baño con bañera y WC. Un gran jardín con terraza y parking privado.

We had a fantastic week! It was like living in a movie, so wonderful! The charming and cozy house, the beautiful garden, and of course, the hospitable and sweet hostess Sue. We definitely recommend it. We'd love to come back!

Lovely calm cottage with big garden

Country-life at its best

Very special and cosy house

This property was very cosy. We really enjoyed the big garden and the possibility to sit outside. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had all you need. Thanks a lot for the warm welcome and the brioche, crisps and cider. We had a very pleasant stay. The property is a good place to visit the beaches and go swimming, the cities Rouen and Caen, Bayeux and the D-Day spots. In 5 minutes you can go to a supermarket. It was perfect !!! We will come back.

Loved it!

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely cottage. It was so quirky & unique but had everything we needed. Services nearby, central to lots of places that we wanted to visit but so peaceful - we enjoyed the tranquility. Our hosts couldn't have been more welcoming or helpful. We had an issue with our rental car one day & had to speak to the rental company's roadside assistance then a mechanic - it would have been a much different experience without the assistance of our lovely hosts. Altogether- the perfect spot for northern Normandy.

An idyllic cottage

We had a wonderful week at this traditional Norman cottage which was full of antiques and vintage crockery and glassware. The cottage was very well equipped with everything you could possibly want. The gardens and lawns were beautiful and we spent most afternoons/evenings enjoying the view, the wildlife and the sunshine! Sue was a charming host who left us to get on with things but was always available for any queries. We are now back in a windy and rainy UK. What a contrast!

Wir haben im Juli/August eine Woche zu zweit in diesem Haus zugebracht. Sue ist eine sehr herzliche Gastgeberin, die auch immer für Fragen zur Verfügung steht. Im Haus fehlt es an nichts, selbst die Ausstattung der Küche lässt nichts zu wünschen übrig. An heißen Sommertagen bleiben die recht dunklen Innenräume angenehm kühl. Die Räume sind liebevoll ausgestattet, viele Bilder und überall kleine Details als "eye catcher". Im Außenbereich gibt es Wind- und Sonnenschutz und ausreichend Gartenmöbel. Ein Grill und eine Tischtennisplatte stehen bereit.

Varm anbefaling af dette charmerende landsted

Vi er en familie med 4 store børn, som har haft en dejlig uge i dette hyggelige hus. Venlig vært, som bor i et andet hus på den store parklignende grund. Huset er veludrustet med alle fornødenheder. Beliggenheden er god for ture rundt i Normandiet. Det får vores varmeste anbefalinger.

Een pareltje!

Sue’s cottage is een Pareltje! Zo’n knus en gezellig huis! Het is met zorg ingericht. Alles wat je nodig hebt, is aanwezig. De ligging is adembenemend: een tuin als een park. Veel rust en ruimte! We bleven ons verwonderen over het mooie uitzicht naar alle kanten. En wat het verblijf helemaal aangenaam en perfect maakt, is het warme welkom en de gastvrijheid van Sue. Wat hebben we geluk gehad dat we Sue’ cottage tussen al die verschillende locaties gevonden hebben! Sue, enorm bedankt! We komen terug!

In one word amazing!

When thinking back on our time in Sue's wonderfull cottage one word comes to mind: perfect! From the warm reception by Sue to how perfectly cosy and spotless the cottage was. We did not want for anything (except a bit more sun maybe :) and us and the kids loved every bit about the cottage. A real bonus was the wonderful garden with all it's flowers and the beautiful forest with it's brooks. You can walk straight into the forest from the cottage. Ideal for a picknick and playing in the water. Loved it! Can't recommend the cottage or Sue as a host enough. If you get a chance, go here, it's amazing!

A really beautiful place to stay

The very warm welcome we received on arrival from our hosts set the scene for what was to become a wonderful holiday. The cottage is delightful; very comfortable, cosy and very well equipped. It is the caring attention to detail that makes this cottage feel like a well loved and cared for home, as opposed to just a pleasant functional rental. The very spacious garden is stunning with beautiful trees and flowers and we really enjoyed watching the birds and rabbits in the peace and tranquility of this truly beautiful location. There is easy access to shops in Pont Audemer and a hypermarket a short drive away. Deauville, Honfleur and many other interesting places are easily accessible. We cannot rate this property highly enough and look forward to being able to visit again. Thanks to our hosts for making this such a memorable holiday for us

With no doubt: to feel at home in Normandy

The house like a fairy tail (we travel with kids), the garden, the full equipment kitchen...we enjoyed a lot the house and we felt cared with the owners of the property. The location is ideal for a route to Normandy, due to the central location between most of the main points of interest.

Absolute Ruhe auf dem Lande mit sehr netten Vermietern.

Das normannische Landhaus ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und in jedem Schrank findet man landestypische Überraschungen,sei es Gläser oder Porzellan. Die Bilder entsprechen exakt der Realität,worüber wir uns sehr gefreut haben. Es ist alles vor Ort anzufinden :Handtücher in großer Menge, Bettwäsche und sogar Duschartikel,Shampoo, Haarspülung, Seife, Waschmittel und Spülmaschinentabs. Sue hat sogar den Kühlschrank mit Saft, Milch, Cidre und Butter befüllt und da es so warm war, Eiswürfel vorbereitet. Sogar Brioche und Marmelade haben wir vor Ort vorgefunden. In jedem Raum standen frische Blumen!
