blues @ notes es un espacio amplio y luminoso cuya decoración está inspirada en su historia musical. El espacio era propiedad de un profesor de guitarra que creó el estudio para clases particulares. Ubicado en el corazón del centro de Picton, con todas sus pintorescas tiendas, boutiques, el Regent Theatre, galerías de arte, restaurantes únicos y a solo minutos de las playas de Sandbanks, la ruta del vino, las cervecerías artesanales y todas las maravillosas aventuras que tiene el condado oferta.

Location location location!

Steps to the grocery store and easy walk to everything. Host provided a beach pass too which was a great bonus. Rene was a great host w good suggestions-thank you!

Good location for walking in downtown picton.

Relaxing stay behind a McDonald’s restaurant. Surprisingly quiet neighborhood. Friendly host.

Great County Homebase

We stayed here for three nights for an annual trip to PEC with our two boys, 9 and 7. Very comfortable. Very conveniently located. We were very happy with our stay.

Our overall stay was great

The place was exactly as it was described , very comfortable and had all the necessities. The only thing we missed a little was the tv, which you can only use if you are streaming, which we don’t know how to do. Overall we will stay there again.

Wonderful

This was definitely one of our best, if not THE best, VRBO or other, experience we have had. Wonderful set up, well equipped kitchen, extremely responsive hosts (we were short a set of towels, we called, the towels were provided, with a smile, in minutes). Great location. The whole contributed to a wonderful weekend experience.

Lovely spot in the heart of Picton

Very clean and quiet accommodations. One-bedroom apartment was as advertised online, and had everything we needed. Kitchen was very well-equipped. Nice small deck out back. Great location, steps away from Main St. Communication with owner, Rene, was clear and informative. Thanks, Rene & Eileen, hope to return next year!

Long weekend in Picton

The hosts are very helpful and friendly and do everything possible to make you feel comfortable. The unit is very close to all the downtown stores, restos, coffee shops and right beside a shopping mall if you forgot anything. We attended a movie at the beautifully restored Regent Theatre and it is worth a visit if you have a free night or a rainy day.

Real gem!

It was a pleasure to spend a few days at this retreat. It felt like home, we had everything we needed. The location is great, right downtown of Picton, near grocery stores and restaurants, very convenient with kids or just in couple. There is a backyard where you can chill or play with the kids. The beds are super comfortable and clean. The kitchen is fully equipped with all that's needed for a family of 4. I definitely recommend and will return if ever in the beautiful area of Prince Edward County.

Perfect place to stay!

Perfect place to stay nearby everything (grocery, restaurants, shopping). Sandbanks is only 15 min by car. Welcoming hosts very helpful and kind. The apartment is super clean, well decorated and really well equipped. The only negative thing to say is that the mattress in the room should be changed as it is too soft. Other than that everything was perfect. Thanks Rene & Eileen!

Would definitely stay here again!

Great place to stay. Everything was expected, roomy, clean and very convenient to town and surrounding area. My only criticism would be that there was no written information on how some of the equipment operated (TV) and other do's and don'ts. We could have called but did not want to bother anyone. Most places we have stayed have a couple of sheets of useful information for us to follow - Just a suggestion for what it's worth.

Great weekend getaway

Great location in Picton. Close to downtown, restaurants and other amenities. All check-in information sent beforehand was very clear and made for an easy arrival. Unit was spotlessly clean and well equipped. Good size for a couple although there is a pullout couch if needed. Met the owner Rene when we arrived. He was very friendly and accommodating and made sure we had his contact information if we needed anything. Gave recommendations on some places to visit. We had a great stay and loved exploring the County. Thanks Rene! We hope to come back and explore the area more some day.

A home away from home

My daughter and I have made this our summer tradition. Its simply perfect in every way! Eileen & Rene are wonderful at making sure that everything you might need is available : I kid you not! We leave home fully packed as, I do cook during our stay with a restaurant thrown in here and there. This trip, I had forgotten olive oil. I opened the cupboard and voilà! There it was and good one too! Coffee, butter, jams and so forth. The back yard is wonderful for children to explore and play while adultes dive into a good book, sip on coffee or wine! I get that me time i so very much need, simply by having that backyard factor. If honest, I'm reluctant to share my feedback as we would like to keep this gem to ourselves 😄 Seriously, it's a great little home at the heart of P.E.C. we will be back!

Près des commerces

À l’arrivée présence d’insectes envahissantes sur la porte, ce à chaque fois que plombait le soleil, et on entrait. Les insectes essayaient d’entrer à l’intérieur! Présence de poubelles éventrées chez le voisin de gauche…ouf!!! Mais l’intérieur était propre et plutôt invitant.

Good times in PEC

Drove on some lovely rural road surrounded by farms, fields and blue sky. Visited some artists studios and saw beautiful sunsets. Great relaxing week and will be back.

Great location!

For a quick weekend getaway, this place was perfect. A very short walk to the shops in Picton, super responsive hosts, comfortable and clean. Loved the movie selection … though we spent a lot of time out, it was a nice way to kick back at the end of the evening with a glass of local wine!

Disappointed

This property is lovely. Clean, bright and well appointed. Location is excellent. However. We arrived in the dark and pouring rain and walked into an apartment that was 16 degrees. As we scurried around to turn on space heaters, we blew a fuse. Not a good start. That was resolved quickly, though. I then realized that there was no stove. The listing clearly said there was a stove. But instead there’s a one burner induction hot plate. We had no choice but to eat out every night. Not what we had planned. And the bed. The mattress is very soft and the fitted sheet did not fit at all, making it very lumpy. None of this would probably be important if you are planning just a night or two. But we booked for five nights and it sure made a difference to us.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

Our unit is right in downtown Picton, within walking distance to all the boutique stores, restaurants, the LCBO and several art galleries. Picton is a small town but is the biggest one in Prince Edward County. The main grocery stores are located here as well as a few gas stations. The people in town and all around the county are very warm and friendly... some even stop to let you cross the street!!! An all-around lovely place to be.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Blues@notes is located very conveniently close to everything, yet is on a street that is very quiet. The space is on it's own, but is connected to the other spaces on the property. There is a private deck in the back. The backyard is shared with others including with Diego (our overly friendly Lab-mix).
