Puede tenerlo todo: LAGO, senderos ORV, una casa impresionante, y lo mejor de todo es que puede traer a sus bebés de pelo (solo perros). Esta exclusiva casa de 3 habitaciones y 1 baño se ubica en el fondo arenoso de Little Island Lake y está a menos de 0. 5 millas de los senderos ORV (Sand Lake ORV Trailhead). Además, nuestra cabaña se encuentra a aproximadamente 10 minutos de Corsair Trails, para practicar senderismo y esquí de fondo. A solo 20 minutos del club de golf Red Hawk en East Tawas. Disfrute de la paz y la tranquilidad de esta casa frente al lago mientras se sienta en la terraza y disfruta de su café de la mañana. La cubierta junto al lago también tiene una mesa en el patio y una parrilla de gas, lo que le permite disfrutar de agradables noches de verano con familiares y amigos. El lago Little Island es poco profundo con un fondo arenoso. Tenemos una gran playa de arena, perfecta para relajarte o mirar cómo construyen tus castillos de arena (incluye juguetes de arena). El alquiler incluye bote de remos, kayak (2) y tablas de remo (2). Además, la casa cuenta con aire acondicionado, lavadora y secadora, lavaplatos, ollas, sartenes, platos, cuencos, vasos, cubiertos, licuadora, sartén eléctrica, utensilios de medición e incluye sábanas y toallas de baño. También hay un sofá cama tamaño queen en la sala de estar. Nuestra casa está ubicada aproximadamente a 15 minutos de Tawas / Lake Huron (playas y parques) y está a menos de 3 horas de Detroit. Televisión por cable y WiFi incluido. Pronto tendremos un muelle y firepit. El próximo fin de semana haremos más trabajo en el patio con fotos actualizadas por venir. The place was perfect! It was very clean and had just about anything you need. The lake was just right for the kids. They loved the boat, kayaks and paddle boards. I think the highlights for the boys were fishing off the dock and the pontoon. We all had a great time. I would definitely go back!

This is our 4th year we have stayed here. Property is super clean. Very well stocked with everything you need. All the comforts of home, love that they allow pets and rent out the pontoon. We love taking the grand kids for spins around the lake. Wonderful beach and deck! Courtney, the owner is great to work with and very responsive. Highly recommend!

2nd Visit- Perfect Vacation Spot

This was our second time staying for a week in this beautiful cabin/home with everything we needed. We sat there our last day and tried to come up any suggestions to make this home more perfect and couldn’t come up with a thing. The kitchen is fully stocked, lots of beds for guests, comfortable seating indoors and plenty of seating outdoors. The new ramp and stairs off the side certainly makes it easy to get in and out with a really nice and spacious deck. Beautiful morning sunrises, plenty of nature to see- we saw many varieties of birds, ducks and even some baby raccoons. We loved the use of the pontoon boat and it was a blast catching many 12-16” bass, blue gill, sun fish and a few small perch. A nice grill for BBQing, firepit at night, an additional 1/2 bath was appreciated, and use of kayaks and paddle boards are fun for all. The owners were quick and easy to communicate with and check in and out was easy. Highly recommend!!! Thank you again for a great vacation

Great lake getaway

The whole experience was great! House was better than anticipated, great layout and nice and spacious. Only complaint is the water pressure of the bathroom sink was only a trickle; all other fawcetts and the shower were fine. Rooms were great sizes and the upstairs loft was MASSIVE! Also, there were a ton of games and kid toys upstairs, along with a great selection of games and beach toys. Great for a family vacation, or friends trip. Highly recommend!

Very Welcoming

The house was very clean and beautiful. Very comfortable and had everything just like living at home. The loft was unbelievable with very nice view of the sunrise! Every room was clean and inviting. The communication was easy and friendly. Thank you for having us and letting our dog enjoy himself, he got to watch a lot of wild life on and off the lake! We would book here again!

Perfect updated Rental for Family

Came into town to visit family. This layout is perfect for a family. New appliances, comfortable setting. Plenty of sleeping spaces. Wish we were here during the summer to enjoy the lake, but still enjoyed the view with morning coffee.

Bradley weekend

Beautiful lake home and Courtney is very responsive and easy to talk to. This is our 6th year staying at her home and it has been perfect every time. We will be returning to continue to make wonderful fall family memories together at this wonderful home.

Great Cabin

We enjoyed our stay! Cottage was very clean - except for the grill - so much grease. It would have taken a long time to clean up. Feel it should be something that is kept clean for guest. Cottage was well supplied. Lake is very small and shallow and at the cottage shore line filled with "oily" black substance (dead plant material after treatment in late Aug, maybe?)

Perfect family setting

This is the second time we’ve had the opportunity to stay here and it was everything we remembered from 2020. Our four kids aged 7-15 had a blast and asked if we could come back next summer. Unfortunately it’s booked. As my kids would say “My bad”. My advice is book it now! Thanks for the great memories! We’ll be back.

Cottage Great Water Not So Great

The house was very nice, was pretty clean in general. Washer & dryer was nice to have did lots of laundry! Tried to have all the sheets & blankets done on check out day but with early check out time wasn’t able to did leave 1 load in washer & 1 in dryer. Loft upstairs was huge could easily be 2 rooms but it worked as is for the kids & their 20 something aunt. Sandy beach was nice, water well… we go up north to swim, float, etc but the sandy bottom was covered in brownish algae? Cleared it up a bit with a lot of raking but there was also seaweed at end of dock. Lake depth is under 8 feet (yes total) didn’t see sand bottom anywhere on our pontoon rides all black. Was great having the pontoon (weekly rate great too) Lots of atv action flying up & down the street we brought a small 4 wheeler & mini bike which we only used the first weekend. The trails were a 1/2 mile away & more for larger vehicles but the kids still had fun checking it out. There is a large grassy area next to the cottage which we assumed was part of the property since the neighbors had a small fence dividing their property from it the kids did ride up it to the street & though I was right there the neighbors called the owner to complain instead of talking to me. We only used the driveway after. Nice they allow pets our shepherd enjoyed swimming and jumping off the dock. on our pontoon rides.

Perfect

We had an amazing stay in this beautiful house! Place was clean and ready to enjoy when we arrived. Water toys stored in the shed were clean and so was the boat. Kids and pup we able to swim right in front of the house. We fished off the dock and paddled out to the little island. Had a great visit. Small little internet issue, but Courtney took care of us right away! Highly recommend!!

Another wonderful stay

This is our third year staying at Iwanicki cottage. We love it here! The property is very clean and spacious. They have a high chair/booster and pack and play for the grandkids, which makes packing easier. They also have toliet paper, paper towel, napkins, a dishwasher with detergent and a washer and dryer with detergent. They go out of their way to make your stay a home away from home. The beach is fantastic, the grandkids and our dog Maggie played for hours in the sand as well as the lake. We also rent the pontoon for the week, which we love taking out for sunset cruises. We can’t say enough good things about the property and the hosts. We are looking forward to our stay next year.

Great time

Our stay was from 6/11 thru 6/17. The property was cleaned & ready. Very cute & cozy cottage. Our sons & their families came up for Father's Day weekend. All 10 of us had plenty of room. Had a great time fishing, kayaking, & riding around the lake in the pontoon boat. Youngest granddaughter had a great time playing in the sand & swimming.

Wonderful weekend & stay

The VRBO was exactly like the pictures/ post. We were lucky enough to come up with a group of friends to spend memorial weekend together on the lake and riding the ORV trails on our bikes. My boyfriend and I even got engaged this weekend which made the weekend and stay even more special. Super thankful for the awesome host and property, will be back!!!

Dog friendly lake house

I don't even know where to begin! We've been looking for a Northern MI lakefront property that would allow us to bring our two dogs. This was it! The host, Courtney, was absolutely amazing! She answered all my (many!) questions immediately and the check in process was seamless! Even though it rained for half of our stay, we still had an amazing time! The dogs loved the lake and played in it every day! This house had everything you could ever need! Just bring your clothes and food and you're all set. The grill worked great, firepit was awesome and we were able to even kayak. We are definitely going back! We found our spot - no need to look anywhere else!!!! Thank you, Courtney, for your hospitality and opening up your beautiful lake home to us and our fur babies!!!!

Bradley vacation

I can’t say enough about Courtney’s beautiful lake house. It is stocked with essentials, roomy enough for our family of 6 adults and one child, has 2 bathrooms, beds are all comfy, and the loft that sleeps 8 overlooking the lake is fabulous. This is our 5th fall staying at the house and will continue to return every fall.

My husband, my parents and myself decided to go in together and purchase a lake house for us to spend vacation time at and as a place that others would be able to rent and enjoy.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

We spent almost 2 years looking for what we consider the "perfect place". That included a cottage/cabin with minimal repairs (because who wants to spend your vacation time making repairs), being on a lake with a sandy bottom so the kids can play and being within riding distance of ORV trails. It took us a while, but we finally found what we consider to be the perfect place!!

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

One of the great things about this home is it's open main level floor plan. My dad is in a wheelchair and he get's around great on the main level. Hopefully this fall we will be installing ramps for the front porch and back deck!!!
