On The Rocks is a relaxing cottage located on Lake Huron. Come enjoy the view of the water, the morning sunrise, and relax in the sunshine during the day or by the fire pit in the evening. Only 5 min north of downtown East Tawas. Quite, private setting. Enjoy the BBQ or head into town and let some else do the work for you. Just minutes away from the state park with a great beach and lighthouse.

Within a 5 minute drive to downtown and you will find amazing restaurants, great shopping, putt putt, ice cream, great beachs and parks. Don’t forget to visit the Tawas Point light house. Or head north 5-10 minutes into Oscoda.

So many little things left for us ,hot chocolate ,smores ingredients,and the perfect little cozy place ,so cute so well stiled. The lake view was incredible ,you are truely right on the water. We loved it!

The place was amazing, clean and well stocked with extra little things that made it like home. Sun rises were amazing and camp fires every night and so many stars. Thank you for a great stay that made my wife's birthday perfect.

On The Rocks Cottage is an impeccable property. It is well appointed and very comfortable. Love the sunroom for cooler outdoor temps. Listening to Lake Huron was one of the many highlights of our stay! Thank you Kim! We shall return.

This was an adorable little cabin in an amazing location. It was spotless with easy check-in. From the location to the decor, it really made you feel like you were up north.

Perfect beach vacation

We had a great family vacation at “on the rocks”. Location was great, just north of town with a beautiful lake view. Very clean and lots of little extras - snacks, s'more's, popsicles that the kids loved, coffee and creamer, beach toys and towels, etc. The hosts thought of everything you could need for a home away from home! Thanks for a great stay, we look forward to visiting again!

Another fantastic stay!

This is our second year staying at On The Rocks and it was just as wonderful of a stay as our first visit! Excellent house, close to Tawas and Oscoda, and everything you could want for a memorable stay.

A dream getaway

Absolutely perfect. Cabin was so cozy and beautiful. Very clean and just felt like home. All the thoughtful little touches , the hosts really put their hearts into it. From the majestic sunrises to the bonfires on the beach at night, we didn't want to leave. We don't have a bad word to say about anything, we are definitely going back.

Relaxing getaway

Absolutely loved the cabin! Exactly as described. Clean , quiet and super comfortable Fully stocked kitchen, gas grill and treats left by hosts made cooking breakfast or dinner very easy. Location was beautiful. Spend lots of time outside enjoying the views of Lake Huron. 100% recommend for a nice getaway.

It’s tiny but it is CUTE. Very clean and updated. Beds are comfy and so is the living room. Can’t beat the view! Owners provide a lot of little treats and take great care of the place. We loved it!

Relaxing lake stay

a get away

My sister in law and myself got away for a few days. I lost my husband (her brother) a few months ago and wanted serenity and peace...and we got it. Beautiful, newly renovated, clean, quiet, special details, beds are comfortable and love the sheets! Town is close by and lots of places to take picnics. The owners put love into this cottage.
