Ramesh left an incredibly unfair review. From the very beginning of his inquiry, I emphasized the off-grid/glamping aspects of the cabin to try to dissuade him from booking because certain international guests don’t seem to understand or appreciate the off-grid cabin typically. I essentially tried to talk him out of staying, but he insisted on booking. He assured me that it would be like his simple upbringing in the country. I even offered him a complete refund at any time leading up to the stay because it was his family’s Christmas celebration we were talking about. He reassured me that everything would be fine and he could handle the limited amenities just fine. I asked him if his wife would enjoy the limited amenities that are inherent to glamping. He said he was confident that they would have a wonderful time. We went through all the trouble of cleaning, warming, stocking, and even decorating the cabin for them only to have them arrive and leave the same night. He said his wife was ill and they were checking out. That’s all he said. He never asked for a refund. He never complained about the cabin, of course, because he knew full well that I had over-explained everything and basically begged him not to book because I could tell he wasn’t a good fit for it. People can be quite impossible sometimes.
