¡Obtenga la verdadera experiencia al aire libre aquí en Buttermilk Country Cabins! Nuestra cabaña rústica está convenientemente ubicada a 7 millas de West Yellowstone y la entrada oeste del Parque Nacional de Yellowstone. La cabaña limita con la propiedad forestal nacional y hay una buena posibilidad de que veas vida salvaje. Hay muchas actividades para disfrutar y mantenerte ocupado a poca distancia de la cabina. Estos incluyen un rodeo nocturno (excepto los domingos de junio a agosto), paseos a caballo y en carreta (junio a agosto), caminatas y un pozo de fuego para asar malvaviscos. We had the loveliest stay during our visit to Yellowstone. The cabin is even cuter in person and had everything we needed, plus was closer to the park entrance than we expected! Can't recommend staying in this property enough!

Peaceful!

This cabin is very clean and everything you need to just get away from everything. Owners are amazingly friendly! I would come back to stay my next visit through town.

Great Spot for visiting Yellowstone

Very clean, cute cabin. Great for two people. Nice location of visiting Yellowstone. Would be possibly noisy if staying on the weekends, as there is a rodeo area very close by.

A lovely cabin!

My cousin and I stayed here while visiting Yellowstone, and we absolutely loved it! Our host was so nice and welcoming. The cabin was comfortable, charming and had all the amenities we needed. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend.

Cozy cabin

It was perfect. It did not disappoint. It was just like the pictures and more. The hosts were great. The cabin was quaint and beautifully decorated. Everything was in working order. I would highly recommend this charming cabin.

Very Private Setting!

We absolutely loved our stay here. It was very secluded and away from the busy town of West Yellowstone. Upon arrival, Caleb greeted us and made sure we didn't need anything. The cabin is gorgeous! The stairs to the loft are steep, as mentioned in the description, but it did not hinder our stay. We attended the rodeo on our last night and it was fun! The rodeo also occurred on Friday night, but it was quiet in the cabin and we could not hear it. The property is beautiful and easy to access. We were able to cook breakfast with the portable appliances provided. The drive to West Yellowstone was short, and we also got to see plenty of neat places on our way. If we ever get the chance to return out west, we will try and stay here again!

Great place! Only negative if I had one is I was a little nervous to not have air conditioning, but it cooled down nicely at night.

Perfect getaway

My husband and I stayed here the first three nights of our honeymoon, and it was perfect! The communication was great; Caleb met us upon our arrival and made sure we had everything we needed. We had a long day of travel and arrived to a cozy place to rest for a bit. Some of the best night’s sleeps were in this house! Close to West Yellowstone which was convenient for our plans and offered options for food and drinks. We attended the Wild West Yellowstone rodeo on the property too, and it was a blast. We hope to return some day and spend more time here!

Super cute, quiet cabin.

Very cute cabin for a couple to enjoy some quiet time in. I wouldn't recommend having over 2 people here, as it is pretty tight. Rodeo was very fun along with a fun trail ride on the property. Close to yellowstone but even closer to harder, longer hikes in Montana if you're into that kind of thing.

Adorable Cabin in the woods!

My husband and I stayed in this cozy cabin for about a week. It has everything you need for your stay. It was wonderful getting to relax after a long day in Yellowstone and then to kick back and enjoy the evening in this place. The location is absolutely perfect. Close to the entrance of the park, restaurants, shopping and local attractions. The owners were absolutely amazing to work with. They kept us updated the whole time of what was happening after the flooding in Yellowstone. Its definitely a little piece of heaven!

Wonderful Montana cabin

Wonderful cabin in the woods with lots of charm and beautiful surroundings. Caleb and Tarah have a great spot to enjoy the woods and cabin. Trail around the property to take long walks and enjoy the views of their pond and the mountains in the distance. The horses and cattle at the rodeo were nearby for viewing and petting (if they were interested), We enjoyed having something just outside of the town for relaxing and away from the main hub of West Yellowstone shops. Cabin was a treat from our normal suburban living. Looking forward to seeing their larger cabin finished so we can bring family or friends for a visit.

Easy access to Yellowstone

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin! Caleb and Tarah were very responsive to us, greeted us as we pulled in and gave us all the privacy we needed. We definitely appreciated the bear spray. The cabin was a cozy place to come back to after hiking in the park and being out in the cold, as it snowed during our stay. The description of the cabin is very accurate so we were organized with food that we could easily prepare. The stairs were easy for us to navigate. The drive to the west entrance of Yellowstone was very simple and we were able to make it with a little traffic and minimal wait time. Thank you Caleb and Tarah for your hospitality!

Cute little place!

We really enjoyed staying at the cabin. It was perfect for our honeymoon stay and accessing yellowstone park! We would just suggest maybe bringing your own outdoor kitchen like a camp chef if you plan on cooking much besides on their BBQ. We brought ours and made all our own breakfasts as all the breakfast restaurants were already closed for the off-season. Really great place!

Anniversary getaway

Great rental property! Just as pictured. I DID not really look prior to see there was no oven or stove. It worked out fine, we grilled and made do, just didn't check that before we arrived. Definitely not for anyone who has issues with stairs, they are steep to the bedroom loft. There are no dressers so all bags would be left in the main room under the staircase as you would not want to haul them upstairs, nor is there any room to bring them near the bed. Good location, clean and well kept.

Great Cabin, Awesome Owners

My family and I stayed in this great little cabin back in August. It was exactly what we were looking for. We enjoyed the national park each day and returned to our cabin in the afternoon to relax and enjoy some family time. Our kids (7 and 10) enjoyed the fishing pond, watching the horses, and just walking around the property. The town of West Yellowstone offers plenty of dining options and shops to wander through. The cabin itself is cozy, but very well planned out. If traveling with kids, the loft allows a little bit of separation, and the bathroom is very spacious and nicely done. The owners of this property are awesome. We happened to pull into the property as they were driving in (their home is next door) and they stopped for just a minute to introduce themselves. They respect your space during your stay and respond quickly to a text in the event that you need anything. If we ever make it back to this area, we would be excited to book this cabin again.

Hi there! We are the Oldroyds (Caleb, Tarah, Gracie, and Walker.)
Caleb was raised in Wyoming but spent his summers in Montana with his father enjoying the beautiful property that this cabin is located on. He builds log homes for a living and enjoys the outdoors and all it has to offer. Tarah was born and raised here in Montana. She has her degree in early childhood education but since having children enjoys her time as a stay at home mother. We met on a blind date and were married in April of 2016. We had our beautiful daughter in 2017 and decided to start our cabin rentals in 2019. We are hoping to add a couple more cabins within the next few years but for now just have the one cabin.

This property is located 6 miles outside of the town of West Yellowstone on a private 50 acres. After spending a day in Yellowstone Park and enjoying all that the town of West Yellowstone has to offer, rest assured that you will come back to your cabin and be able to enjoy a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. The owners do live on the property too but want you to know that their guest's privacy is very important to them.
