Sunset Escape was beautiful, and very comfortable, with all the amenities you could ask for in a lake house. It had a beautiful view of the lake and a view of chipmunks and squirrels playing in the yard and trees. The kitchen and bathrooms were fully provisioned with all you could need, and with extra soaps, shampoos and cleaning supplies. We had a wonderful, relaxing weekend!

Awesome lake view!

Home was perfect for our family. We were in the area to watch our granddaughter play softball and had several family members staying with us. Listing was well shown from the pictures and easy to find. Location is wonderfully located with a majestic view. Everyone loved the place!

Lake Perfection

We really enjoyed the hosts hospitality and warm vibes inside the home! Absolutely gorgeous sunsets and location. Amazing set up and plenty of room for everyone to spread out inside the house and on the dock. I just can’t say enough good things about Susan, our host. She made it easy to enjoy everything!

Awesome lake house

I was very impressed with the layout of the house and it's location. Very refreshing even though we only had one day to enjoy it .... However,a week there with a boat rental to enjoy the lake and all of the local things to do, I would definitely recommend it. Great host too

Susan was so easy to work with! And very helpful even when I had questions not related to the house. House had lots of space & the setting was beautiful. It is a LONG walk down to the water & back up to the house!

Parking is the only major issue and outside wall receptacles

Easy and affordable. Parkimg and outside receptacles for charging is the only issue. Nice and clean

Thank you for your review and being such a wonderful, clean and respectful guest! I clean my lakehome myself and always make sure it’s nice and clean for all our guest. We’ve had up to three trucks trailering three boats at our lake home. However, there is only room for one close to the house and the others have to park across the street along the easement. We have an electrical box on the right side of the house for charging boats. I’m always very available to my guest if they have any questions during their stay.

Quick Girls Trip

This was a great girl's trip getaway at the lake! The house was very clean and well decorated, and communication with Susan was great. She let us know beforehand everything we needed to know about the property, which was super helpful. We had plenty of space, and all the furniture was cozy, clean and comfortable. The beds were also super comfy. The pier was really nice, too. It was clean and had a nice table and chairs with plenty of seating. Parking is a little tight, but 2 cars would fit fine. Overall, it was a wonderful getaway!

Gorgeous view, comfy place

Loved the view, the beds & couches were super comfy. & loved the living room. Very roomy. Well appointed with any & everything we needed. Couldn't get the coffee pot to work but could have been user error. Our guest said there was a few hairs in her bed & on her shower wall but ours was very clean. Windows in main bedroom/bathroom could be cleaner to take advantage of the beautiful lake view. The owner was very easy to reach & responsive. We overall enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful lake house- Relaxing

I feel the description and pictures is very accurate. The house was extremely clean and felt right at home. There are some flaws to any home and I am not going to be picky that's not fair. Beds are very comfortable and bathrooms very nice. We had the use of the kitchen and it was perfect for us. All the dishes and utensils were clean and nice quality. We were not able to use the lake as we were in and out a lot for other events but its a beautiful view. Master bedroom is amazing. They have a sound machine next to the bed and I let it run all the time as it was so relaxing. Master Bath is spacious and very nice. Everything is so CLEAN. There are helpful notes throughout the house so less confusion and all very helpful. I would stay here again. The neighborhood did make me nervous at first as there is a wide range of homes there but it really is very safe. So quite and nice here I would certainly recommend this lake house to anyone. Also if I had any questions or concerns they were answered right away. Couldn't ask for a better host they were wonderful to work with.

Not what I expected

When I saw that the property had 14 5star reviews, I was excited. But when we arrived I was confused. The kitchen ceilings were so low that my boys had to duck under the light fixture so they wouldn’t hit their heads. The house was old and worn, except for the master bed and bath which were lovely. The neighborhood was odd- trailer homes and pop up campers lined the street. Coming from Atlanta, I hid was definitely not what I was expecting for the price we paid.

Beautiful Location and Property!

My wife and two daughters stopped in after a long drive (summer camp). What a beautiful evening and morning this very well taken care home provided! The lower decks on the water were so refreshing with a cool morning and evening. The house was extremely comfortable with a relaxing hot tub in the main bathroom. Wish we had more time to enjoy the water! Thank you!
