Weekend stay

Nice property in a great location just past the Seawall. Plenty of room for a big group if you wanted. Very kid friendly with games. Loved that there was a game room upstairs that had a door so we didn’t have to worry about the stairs with a little one. Overall I would stay here again.

We recently stayed at this property and had a nice getaway with family. Pros- the location is top notch, right on the beach, beautiful views and not far from all the action in Galveston. It’s one of few beach houses that have a bathroom for every bedroom, which is great when staying with multiple families. Great home setup, very comfortable. Cons- The place lacked general upkeep/cleanliness and the owner/host was not helpful in addressing any concerns. Examples: The dryer did not work our entire stay and when I messaged about it on day 1, I received no response. This proved to be very challenging as you typically expect to do laundry while at the beach. We also had issue with the outside water hose not able to fully turn off. We messaged multiple times about this issue and it was also not addressed. They dismissed our concerns and/or ignored messages. The place was generally in decent condition but needs repairs in lots of places including door locks, drawers and ceiling fans, and outside hoses.Overall- the place has excellent potential and so many positives. Just wish the overall customer service and attention to detail in the home was better as it could be a hidden gem with a bit more care/attention.

Location Location Location

Perfect location. Right on the beach with easy access to the water. Stunning sunrise and sunsets. Well appointed house with everything you need. In need of some routine maintenance but we would stay here again!

Nice house, great location

The house is in a great location, away from the chaos but close to restaurants and shopping (usually stay by Jamaiica Beach). The house was nice. It has everything you need. There are minimal towels and toiletries but that was clearly stated from host. We brought extra towels (kitchen, bath, beach), tp, paper towels, hand soap, dish soap, etc. We would have liked it to be cleaner. We would stay here again.

Great Place

Our extended family of 9 people had a wonderful time at this house. Plenty of bathrooms, comfy beds and ample hang out space. We especially loved the dedicated kids area upstairs. We will book again!

We were in town to attend the Subsea Intervention Symposium. Wanted to have a place large enough for all colleagues to allow for team building and camaraderie as well as on the beach and conveniently located to the heart of Galveston. This VRBO perfectly met all expectations.

Amazing House

This by far was my favorite beach house in Galveston, The location is perfect not too far away from store, The house was beautiful and huge, the beach is in your backyard and private. Everything about this house was perfect, definitely booking it again.

One of the things we did not like was that the upstairs TV did not have a remote that properly worked missing one of the batteries, and there was no cover on the back of the TV remote and in the kitchen Had ants in there, and the big tub in the master bedroom does not work Work

Great Beach Access

This is a lovely house directly on the beach. I was able to book both this house and the house immediately next door at the same time in order to accommodate my wife and I, our six adult children, their significant others and our 6 grandkids. We had a great time. The only issue we had (and it was minor) was that when we cooked we had the oven and cooktop going at the same time and the A/C system had trouble keeping up with all the kitchen heat. It should be noted that it was in the high 90s the whole time we were there, and the house cooled back down after the cooking was done.

Great Location

The home location is great! It's close enough to the seawall to be able to make a quick run to town. We loved that it was a private beach and not as crowded on our side. The pictures on the listing showed there was a bar area downstairs as well, but we did not have access to this area. The house was not cleaned very well. There was sand everywhere. It was still on the floors as well as the couches being full of sand. There was also food still under the kitchen table.

Beautiful beachfront home

Excellent home! Plenty of bed and bath space for 3-4 families. Easy to locate. Great for early beach walks and day sunning right on the beach. Very clean and modern. Only negative was location beside public beach entrance and parking. Was one house away and the street entrance traffic was extremely active. Police cleared daily at 6 so was very congested if was trying to return to house at that time in the evening. Street utility maintenance with jackhammers on Friday blocked the street and entrance to the house all day so our arrival parking was in the public beach parking and had to walk to house. It was clear over the weekend but they returned on Monday morning the day we left and barely got out before the street was blocked again. Overall was a great 4 day weekend and would definitely do again. More kitchen towels and dish soap were needed. Only one kitchen towel supplied. No hot mats, dishcloths were located. Had to resort to using bath hand towels for kitchen use. But again, not a deal breaker. The hand vacuum cleaner was useless. Need a full size vacuum accessible.
