Hi! My name is Kellie. I’m a born and bred Texas country girl, and my husband is from England. Together we run our own business – a full service IT and Design firm. We’ve both been in our fields for over 25 years and enjoy working with local and corporate businesses alike.
We love to travel, both statewide and internationally, and have enjoyed the immersion of diversity, art and culture it has exposed us to. We are also total foodies. If we could make a living trekking the world and trying new foods, that would be the ultimate dream. We have two teenage sons and two rescue dogs who think they're human.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento
We started looking at properties out of state, but then decided we wanted something closer to us. Somewhere our family and friends would be able to take pleasure in as well, without the steep expense of traveling to faraway destinations. A place where we were afforded the opportunity to be impulsive and take a last-minute trip to the beach for a weekend getaway, or just work remotely during downtimes within earshot of the ocean. A lot of our friends were purchasing properties out of state and, while that seemed appealing, the idea just wasn’t the best vibe for us. So, we stuck closer to home and opted for a property on Galveston Island.
Fun Fact: The Breeze Kneez acquired its name from the popular British phrase "the bee's knees", albeit with an oceanic twist. It means “something that is excellent”. This nonsensical phrase was believed to be originated in the 1920s, and is similar to the likes of “the cat’s whiskers” or “the dog’s pajamas”. It is today’s equivalent of “really cool” or “it’s amazing”. Though the saying has waned over the years and considered to be a faddish expression, it is still a trending and nostalgic term, loved and frequently spoken by the British, Boomers and GenX patrons alike.

It feels like home away from home, and a bit like you're being spoiled in the best way. A perfect blend. Galveston itself is rich with history. It is a wonderful merge of culture and variety. There is something for everyone, from every walk of life. There is plenty of food, entertainment, sights, sounds, tourism and activities to add to your experience - be it a quiet, relaxing stay or a fun-filled adventure.
