Propietario/a: Doug & Mary Klar
In the fall of 2013, Trails End Cabins & Motel was purchased by Doug & Mary Klar.
Doug is originally from Dike, Iowa (just west of Cedar Falls) and is retired from the U.S. Navy. After a career in power generation, he now is enjoying the great outdoors! On any given day, you might find Doug fishing, hiking, golfing or riding the trails on his ATV. He enjoys cruising thru the hills on his Harley and is a member of the SD Patriot Guard & American Legion Riders. He is an avid sports fan and keeps close track of his favorite baseball, football and hockey teams.
Mary (Dailey) is originally from Jefferson, in the southeast corner of South Dakota. A graduate of the University of South Dakota, she has spent her career as an accountant for small businesses. She also enjoys all of the outdoor & sporting activities with Doug, as well as cooking, quilting, and keeping in touch with family & friends.
“Over the years, we loved vacationing in the Black Hills and always dreamt of making it home one day. Trails End Cabins & Motel is a special find! We are dedicated to making sure your visit is enjoyable and relaxing.”
