Hi Georganne, we're so glad to hear you enjoyed the location of the house and that your party of 8 had plenty of room to relax in our home and got to enjoy a swim in the ocean! However, we apologize for the issues you experienced during your stay and any inconvenience it may have caused. We appreciate your feedback and are happy to say we replaced the silverware and added some additional pots and pans to the kitchen cabinets, as well as replaced the fridge! Although we do try to maintain the cabinets, with new guests regularly, the organization of the cabinets can sometimes become disheveled, as guests aren't familiar with which pot or pan belongs where. We hear your concern and will speak to our cleaning service about a intermittent check on these. We went ahead and replaced the HVAC filter as well, so thank you for bringing that to our attention. In regards to the doors and drawers sticking, that is frequently experienced due to the high humidity of the location being across from the beach, but nonetheless, it is important guests feel they can lock the door for safety. Sometimes these doors stick but a little elbow grease and a hard push or pull may do the trick. We also encourage guests to use the side door on the porch as their main point of entry/exit as it is equipped with a DigiCode Keypad lock, which locks automatically after exit. We will clarify this in an updated welcome booklet. We are sorry about the trouble you may have experienced using the Roku Smart Tv. This is our preferred option due to the ability for each guest to sign into their own Streaming accounts such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Hulu etc. You can also access the News and the Internet via these Tv's. We will provide Roku Instructions in our Welcome Books to facilitate this for future guests. In regards to the rule surrounding our bed and bath linens protocol, we ask that guests try their best to tend their used linens or at the very least begin them, as our cleaning service is only available for a short window of time preparing the house before the next guest arrives to check in at around 3;30 pm. As a 6 bedroom house, it can take an awfully long time to do multiple loads of wash and dry. We appreciate your help in making this go smoothly, although it may be frustrating. We are sorry to inconvenience you by making the beds, this is a new practice right now were instituting due to Covid-19, as we want to ensure guests feel comfortable that they are presented with a clean, fresh, folded, unused set of sheets on top of the beds when they arrive. We can understand your frustration regarding our rule on Trash Disposal, but we institute this considering that trash pickup is on Thursday and rental terms ending 9:30am on Saturday, the amount of Trash accumulated during that period of time is more easily removable for our guests. When trash is left, we need to ensure the barrels are empty for the incoming guests at 3;30pm that day, which requires us to have our matinence assistance collect and dispose of trash with their Truck and make use of their Falmouth Dump sticker subscription, as well as pay them for their time and Travel. The charge we pay to our matenience assistant comes out of the guests security deposit for their time and travel. We appreciate our guests and all the hands that help make this property what it is, and we take pride in making sure their time and effort are valued accordingly. Hi Karen, Were happy to tell you we got a few more garbage cans! As well as a larger size recycling bin. Thank you for the suggestion. We are glad you enjoyed the location, and that your family was able to spend some valuable quality time together. We have replaced the rubber sealing on the 2nd floor bathroom shower door and are hoping that resolves the issue.
