There was a leak into this condo the day before our arrival so our host moved us to a very nice house a couple blocks away. A wonderful upgrade but we weren't changed more. We really appreciated her taking care of us. Had a great time.

Great little apartment

My partner and I spent 2 nights at this charming apartment. It was stocked with everything we need for a couple of nights at the beach. We really enjoyed having a comfortable place to relax and recharge at the end of the day.

Cozy and chic beach cottage

My husband and I always love coming to Carp from So Cal to visit my Mom in SB. This beach cottage as compared to other VRBOs is a step up in decor! Very comfortable with bohemian style and everything you need in a kitchen. Minimal natural light with no view but, interior lighting is excellent. The upstairs can get a little warm but, having a portable AC was huge! Great location!! Steps to the beach:)) I would definitely stay here again. Danielle was a wonderful host!

Well appointed !! My only hiccup was , where were the boogie boards ??? We saw a storage unit in the carport but we did not have access if that’s where they were stored Thanks for-the lovely place

Another fun time in Carp!

Condo is very nicely done with lots of amenities. Property Manager was very quick to respond and solution-oriented. Bathroom is upstairs off the bedroom. Just be warned it was VERY warm when we were there as there is little airflow in the unit and no central a/c. There is a portable a/c unit upstairs though the power strip it was plugged into kept turning off. Once we fixed that problem the unit kept things a bit cooler. No screens on the windows downstairs so was hesitant to leave them open to allow air flow. Location was awesome and it was a beautiful place. Enjoyed our stay.

Danielle’s property was pristinely clean! The advertised 5 minutes to the Beach was accurate!

We enjoyed the lovely little town, the Beach & thought the restaurant recommendations Danielle provided were super. Danielle responded to all questions promptly & made sure we were well informed (how to access, where beach gear is stowed, etc) The condo is well equipped, quite impressive was the earth friendly HBA products through out, LOVE that touch! The bed is comfy and all of the linens are beautifully maintained. We did watch when we reserved to make sure the condo has air conditioning, we didn’t think to check if Central Air. Our travels were apparently on one of the hottest weekends of the year so altho there was a standing indoor a/c unit it was not adequate to cool even the living area where it’s set up. We did struggle with the heat, we just altered plans & didn’t hang around the condo or cook while there. After talking to a lot of others, this is the norm in the area, not limited to this condo or owner. Danielle was very supportive and understanding of our concern, although there’s nothing she could do about it. Overall, the experience was 5 Stars & Danielle’s responsive and consultative approach made it that way.

Cozy Cottage Steps to Beach

Cozy spot steps from the beach!

Danielle’s condo is a cozy, fresh, comfortable place to enjoy a stay in Carpenteria. It looks exactly as it does in the pictures- beachy decor, comfortable seating, a veeerrryy comfortable bed upstairs and a nicely updated kitchen and bathroom. The condo’s location is also within walking distance of many restaurants, it’s close to Santa Barbara, and we also took a drive up to Ojai. From the easy instructions on how to get in to the property, to the beach gear for use, to the great coffee, wine and chocolate she left for us, Danielle made staying here a complete pleasure.
