¡Nuevo en VRBO, pero no en el mercado de alquiler de vacaciones! Estamos justo en la ruta principal de 151. Esta casa de 2,000 pies cuadrados está a una corta distancia a pie de la Cervecería Blue Mountain y solo a un tiro de piedra de las numerosas bodegas, cervecerías, sidrerías y destilerías que Nelson tiene para ofrecer. Estamos a 20 minutos de la estación de esquí Wintergreen, a 15 minutos de Waynesboro y a 20 minutos de Charlottesville. (15 minutos en coche del Hospital de salud de Augusta, 25 minutos en coche de UVA- Bienvenida a las enfermeras de viaje) Estamos a 8 km de Blue Ridge Parkway / Skyline Drive para practicar senderismo y ciclismo.

Wine weekend

This is the 3rd time my girlfriends and I have stayed at this house. We love it and love the location. Host is very quick in responding when messaged. The house is decorated in such a whimsical yet stylish way. Superb!

Wedding week

We were truly happy with the house. Perfect location for us. Room layout was great. The supplies were well stocked. Everything was organized and easy to find. The sunroom was a wonderful place to socialize. House is a nice distance from main road.

Great House for a Family!

Our son got married at Valley Road Vineyards, about a mile from the house, which made it super convenient. The house was perfect for our family to stay for the weekend. There was so much room to spread out and everyone got a room. So much better than a hotel in this kind of situation. The house we very well equipped and clean!

Great Location !

So close to my favorite wineries. Had wood for the outside fire pit- just for one fire, the only negative close to busy road- house was well decorated and plenty of room. Hope to rent this one again!

Perfect Ladies Weekend!

This place is Super adorable! I was with a group of ladies for a long weekend. We thoroughly enjoyed the 3 season room which has a large comfy sofa. The decor of the house is artfully done and inspiring. We loved the close proximity of wineries, breweries and Charlottesville! Such a fun trip and enjoyable stay. I think we will be back!!

Girls trip

Overall had a great experience. Some minor issues with ants, but we just kept our food in the fridge or microwave to avoid them. House is a little awkwardly set up, I think would benefit from comfortable seating near the kitchen instead of the game table or dining table. Decorations are adorable. Check in process was super easy. Sunroom is a little stuffy so we didn’t get to enjoy it, but I imagine it very nice in the fall. States it’s walking distance from brewery, however, we opted to drive due to it being on a highway with no lighting. I think the driveway could use some more lighting for when arriving at night. Well stocked and beds were comfortable.

Spacious home w/ great location!

This VRBO exceeded our expectations! It was perfect for our group of 8 adults. Super spacious overall and extremely well stocked. The location is perfect, being very close to both the south entrance of Shenandoah and a ton of wineries. Check in and communication was easy. Would highly recommend!

Cozy Retreat for a Wedding Week

We had a group of four couples and a toddler stay at Critzer House for an event-packed wedding week. We had such a wonderful stay! The house is decorated so well and made for a cozy home-base. We also really appreciated all the baby amenities, including a changing mat, pack n play, Bumbo seat, and toys. Check in was easy, and there was a binder in the living room with check out instructions and recommendations for activities in the area. There are many vineyards and breweries nearby. Veritas winery had great food options! Finally, the house was very clean and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. I would happily stay again and recommend Critzer House!

60th Birthday Weekend

We had a wonderful weekend with four couples celebrating a 60th birthday. Location is perfect we saw so much in the three days we stayed. Would definitely recommend and rent again!

Great Getaway

We had a wonderful time with our family and our friends' family in this home. The location was perfect for visiting all the local breweries and wineries, as well as Wintergreen. The layout of the home was perfect for us, everything was clean, and the kitchen and bathrooms were very well stocked. We would definitely visit again!

Perfect For a Family Gathering

Great location, close to hiking, breweries, wineries and distilleries. The house has plenty of open spaces for playing games or having family meals. Love that the kitchen is open … great for families who like to cook. Michelle is a top host, making sure we had everything we needed.

Wonderful place for family gathering

This was a perfect spot for our family gathering. We each had our own space and it’s very spread out. We spent most of our time on the sun porch or by the fire pit. Both great gathering spaces. The host was amazing to work with and went above and beyond to answer our questions. Only two suggestions would be to declutter some of the cabinets in kitchen. Lots of extra not needed things and guests really need space to put their things away so they aren’t on counter. The master bed needs to be replaced. It was uncomfortable and the springs were getting me. Everything else was perfect and the price and proximity you couldn’t beat. Thanks for a great stay!!

We were celebrating our Daughter 50th birthday

The property was perfect for our family. It was so close to the wineries and breweries we wanted to visit. The house had a nice enclosed porch that was great for our morning coffee and visit. We also enjoyed the fire pit. The house also had a great kitchen we everything we needed for our meals.

Stay for wedding at Maren Estate

Overall a nice property. Great location. The living room is on the opposite side of the house as the kitchen which is a bit awkward. We were a little disappointed in the cleanliness. There were spiderwebs and some spiders in various corners and some dusty areas. The only cleaning supply we could find for the common spaces was a vacuum that did a lackluster job.
