El Parrot Nest es una de las cabañas Old-Sanibel ubicadas en el tranquilo East End de la isla. Desde 1955, nuestras encantadoras cabañas han acogido visitantes y hasta principios de la década de 1960 fueron traídas a nuestras costas desde tierra firme en ferry.
Nuestras cabañas han sido recientemente renovadas en una decoración costera que le ofrece comodidad épica, relajación en una hermosa habitación. Estamos a poca distancia del histórico faro de Sanibel y del muelle de pesca, hermosas playas de bombardeos, tiendas y restaurantes.
Si lo desea, use nuestras bicicletas de cortesía y explore kilómetros de caminos que cubren la isla y conducen a refugios de vida silvestre, lugares para practicar kayak, playas solitarias y serpentean por más restaurantes, tiendas y galerías. La cabaña Rosella es una habitación encantadora con una cama king y un sofá cama nuevo (doble).

Ideal location for us! It is walking/biking distance to great restaurants, ice cream, beach, and coffee shop (which we needed since B&B has a coffee maker but no coffee). Free bikes were our favorite perk. We had a few missing items we requested, and the host was attentive getting us two out of three—just missing tissues. Bathroom shower ceiling could use some handiwork, but overall the place is cozy and comfortable. It is in a busy public area on the grounds, but blinds were sufficient for privacy!

Beautiful oasis on the east end of the beach. Comfortable with great amenities including free bicycles (there are miles of bike paths!) onsite laundry and beach chairs with umbrella. Nice bed and cozy inside cottage. It had everything we needed. Close to dining, shopping and coffee and ice cream shops! Lots of great restaurant choices. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay again!

Wonderful stay!

This is the perfect spot for two people. The hotel was ideally located next to a small shopping center with a restaurant, beach goods shop, and ice cream parlor...and just 5 minute walk from the beach! It was clean and well appointed. We had everything we needed for a long-weekend getaway. We'll definitely be back!

I liked how everything is pretty closed by where I could ride my bike. Great eating places nearby. Everything is so pretty and clean and I loved it. Definitely would be coming back again next summer

Our cottage was bright and pretty! Perfect spot! We felt right at home. Very private and quiet! There’s bikes to ride, beach stuff, buckets for shelling! Great time to visit! We’ll be back!

Hi Joan, Our sincerest apologies. There was a thunderstorm and lightning took out several tvs at this property. We replaced them the next day, as fast as we could and I believe maintenance shared this with you. Otherwise, we hope you loved your stay.

Late check in (4pm) and early check out (10am) was not good. Also, I needed to go back in after leaving, about 15 minutes before actual check out time and the code had already been changed.

Nice location

The property was a studio style space tucked away in an area close to the lighthouse beach end of the island. I enjoyed the space and especially having a bike. For the first few days I smelled an unpleasant water smell coming from the bathroom but the more I used the kitchen sink it seemed to dissipate. I could have used a bit more towels as they were not stored on site and kitchen tools as I planned on prepping about half the meals. Overall it was very quiet. It reminded me of an upscale campground. I could only hear my neighbors when they used the bathroom but I started shutting my interior bathroom door Incase they were up before me. The island is still very much in a build back state. Was sorry to see that most businesses are missing but hopefully over time there will be more to the area to explore. I didn’t have a need to communicate with the property manager while visiting but the notifications prior to the trip were very helpful.

This property was decorated so adorable, having everything you would need for a great stay & the balcony off your room with a view of the beach was our favorite part! Not only was is close to the beach but it was close to restaurants and shopping centers as well!!

Property was clean, main studio area was great! Loved that you were texted if the property was available for check-prior to 4:00 pm check-in time. Excellent location with walking distance to some restaurants and the beach. The bathroom could use some updating and improvements. There was very little room to store your personal care products and the shelf provided in unit #1 was slanted so the makeup bag and items always slid off the shelf.

Excellent Location but a Tired Property

We stayed at the Rosella Cottage for 3 nights. We really wanted to love everything about it, and hoped we had found a place that we would like to return. We typically like well-maintained properties with a little vintage charm. Unfortunately, this property was not that. We did like the quiet residential location within walking distance to a few restaurants, the beach and the Sanibel Lighthouse and park. Once we parked our car, we did not use it until we left. We also appreciated that the property managers were very responsive when we notified them that the cooktop was not working, a portable replacement arrived within minutes. However, the property is tired and needs attention. The door lock was very difficult to open and clearly needed a shot of oil. If it was difficult for us, it was difficult for the staff, and we wondered why something so obvious wasn't addressed. We felt that the bedding was updated and clean, which is a must. However, the kitchenette and bathroom may have been dated to the point of not being 'cleanable.' The cottage slept up to three people, which must have been why there were 3, and no more than 3, cups, forks, spoons, etc. (Lame and kind of stingy feeling.) The shower did not drain well, so we would be standing in an inch or more of backed up drain water, pretty gross. There was a wicker mirror in the bathroom, and the top of it was covered in dust. There were no towel bars in the bathroom, only hooks on the back of the door. There was one little wall shelf in the bathroom, but the wall mounts were ill-fitted, so the shelf tilted enough to make it useless. There are beach wagons, chairs, and umbrellas provided. A great idea and would be a nice offering, however, we had to go through the chairs and umbrellas to find ones that weren't broken and too rusty. One would think replacing these when necessary would be a priority if the rental fee includes the use of them. We had to wipe off the outside chairs to sit on them, and the paper towels were not only filthy, but had the color of the chairs on them. I was glad that we didn't get that on our clothes. This property could be a real gem. The rental managers were professional, but can only do so much. If the owners or investors aren't willing to re-invest some of the rent money into maintenance and upkeep, it feels disrespectful to people who chose to give them a chance.

Great location & plentiful amenities

As outdoor enthusiasts, we thoroughly enjoyed riding two of the many bicycles available to use. all ends of the island. Beach chairs, umbrellas & shelling tools came in handy also. Clean, comfortable & convenient location. Loved the Lighthouse Cafe next door. We’ll be back.
