NUEVO EN ALQUILER DE VACACIONES - Gulf Island Panorama se encuentra en el área de The Highlands de Orcas Island con una vista panorámica que mira hacia el oeste sobre East Sound Bay y al norte de las Islas del Golfo de Canadá. Con una maravillosa terraza con vista lateral, que ofrece una vista desde lo alto, y un lugar para sentarse con el vino mientras el sol se pone en el oeste, la vida no mejora mucho en las Islas. Estas elegantes casas de tres dormitorios + / tres baños, construidas en dos niveles con un plano de planta inverso, cumplen todos los requisitos para una comodidad lujosa. Arriba encontramos la sala de estar, comedor, cocina, todo en un gran concepto de habitación. Los ventanales de la sala de estar muestran la hermosa vista e iluminan el interior bien amueblado y varias áreas de descanso. A un lado de la sala de estar hay una cómoda sala de televisión para acurrucarse con un espectáculo nocturno en la televisión de alta definición por satélite Dish. El comedor tiene capacidad para 8 personas, también con vista. La cocina adyacente es una verdadera cocina de cocinero con grandes mostradores y todos los electrodomésticos, incluido el lavavajillas de dos cajones.

Al final del pasillo de arriba hay un baño de invitados y la suite principal con cama con dosel tamaño King, colchón de lujo, vista y arte original en las paredes. El baño de azulejos con baño tiene una ducha y tocador doble para comodidad de los huéspedes.

Chill on island time

Beautifully decorated and spacious. Space to gather and space for privacy. Everything clean and in working order. Alot of serving and cookware if you want to cook in, but bring everything you need including basic cooking oil. An awesome deck view where there is dining furniture but unfortunately no lounge furniture. Great location a short drive to Eastsound, Rosario and State park

Beautiful home, amazing view

The house is even more beautiful than the pictures. We booked it for a family reunion with our adult children and their partners. Lots of communal space as well as privacy. The deck is amazing. I would return again. The oven was not working properly and it would be nice to have that fixed. Otherwise, wonderful house.

Great Family Home with Gorgeous Views of Surrounding Islands

Clean and well-appointed home with plenty of space, great western views (good sunsets) looking down on the water and surrounding islands. Large kitchen, dining area and living room, all combined to make a wonderful shared space for visiting. Private setting tucked away in trees and very quiet. Would be a clear 5-star rating, except there were a couple broken items, such as oven, master bedroom toilet, fireplace and one GFI outlet. We'd happily rent again!

Love this house!

We returned again to this great house! It’s a wonderful place! We come again and again. They do have a few appliance that need tending too. We have them broke for longer than a year. This did not stop us from having a love affair with this house- but would like to see them fixed. See you next year! Elliott Rose

Disappointed but still a favorite.

This was our 4th time staying in this home and it's still our favorite. That being said, we were disappointed when we arrived for our Thanksgiving holiday to find the main oven in need of repair. The convection part worked which was a little tricky to figure out. We ended up ordering our side dishes from the Orcas Hotel and reheating them in the microwave. Luckily, I had smoked our Turkey ahead of time at home which saved the meal. Other items in need of repair are the front door screen which gets stuck and locked us in, heaters in the living room and downstairs bedroom are broken. The property manager did provide space heaters at our request. The lights in the living room fans are out as well so it was very dark in there. We were VERY grateful that the power stayed on during the Thanksgiving Day storm. I didn't see any flashlights which would be a nice touch in the Winter. All in all, we made some wonderful memories and will come back again. We have been coming to Orcas for almost 40 years now and this is still our favorite home.

Gorgeous place, great view, well stock kitchen

Man this place was gorgeous. The kitchen was extremely well stocked, which is a huge plus for us. We like to cook and we had brought some things up to make cinnamon buns in the morning expecting that the kitchen wouldn't have a few things, but it had everything. Weber Grill on the deck with a great view. plenty of table space outside and inside. I mean all around the house itself was a great experience. So why 4 stars instead of 5? There had been communication beforehand about us expecting a pack n play and a high chair for one of the infants that we had with us. Those were not there. This would have been a huge inconvenience, had it not been for the fact that we had another rental in the area for the other side of the family that had an extra pack n play. The management company had reached out to us and offered to drop one off at night or in the morning and they did that with no contact drop off, so they were accommodating. Just can't give it a perfect rating because of that.

We cooked Thanksgiving dinner with the well-stocked kitchen, and relaxed to watch the sunset each night. Highly recommend for a family trip!

Price Doesn't Match Amenities

I put off writing this review because I know how hard it is to maintain a vacation rental and don't like giving negative reviews. However, VRBO kept sending me emails requesting feedback so here it is. The Good: This is a very large house with a well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, lovely outdoor spaces, the coolest piano you've ever seen and great views. The Bad: The house needs some updates. Not a deal breaker but for the price, everything should be perfect. VRBO allows searches based on amenities and we used the "fireplace" search option because we knew it was going to be a cold, dark and rainy weekend. The property manager was very helpful but this is something to let guests know about ahead of time in the future. The in-floor heat in the master bath was not working, the floor was ICE cold and a strobe light was flashing on the wall mounted heat control the whole time. The televisions and options for playing music are two decades old technology. The REALLY Bad: A dishwasher repair man showed up at 9:30am on Saturday morning while we were still in our pajamas. We were not told about this. He was a nice guy, but informing guests about these things ahead of time is a basic courtesy. The Recap: A nice big house with lots of space to share a family meal and enjoy the gorgeous view. However, we've rented many VRBO homes over the years and this is the most expensive VRBO we've ever rented. Quite simply, at this price, EVERYTHING should be perfect, or the price should be lowered by a few hundred dollars.
