Esta moderna cabaña isleña se alza en la ribera del banco alto y es ideal para disfrutar de una pequeña familia o pareja. La casa se encuentra a poca distancia de los servicios del Rosario Resort, que incluyen restaurantes, piscina, espacio al aire libre, recorridos en kayak, observación de ballenas y acceso a senderos al Parque Estatal Moran. La gran terraza tiene una mesa y sillas para ayudarlo a completar sus festividades a la parrilla durante esos hermosos días en la isla. Después de moverse dentro, notará ventanas de piso a techo que muestran vistas de las aguas de East Sound. Una sala de estar abierta se completa con chimenea de propano y TV de pantalla plana. El televisor está conectado a Direct TV y tiene Netflix, Hulu y HBO listos para usar. El lado opuesto de la gran sala es una mesa de comedor con cuatro sillas cómodas. La cocina está equipada con todo lo necesario para crear sus comidas en la isla.

Al entrar en el dormitorio principal, primero notará los paneles de techo de cobre que se enmarcan en una claraboya que está por encima de una cama king size. ¡Qué hermoso lugar para mirar las estrellas! El baño del pasillo compartido cuenta con una combinación de bañera y ducha. El área de loft bajo es perfecta para que los niños disfruten. Hay dos camas individuales en un piso alfombrado suave. Antes de ingresar a la mitad, en el área del loft, hay una sala de estar con sofá de dos plazas, ideal para leer. El asiento del amor se puede sacar para hacer una tercera cama individual. En toda la casa notará impresionantes muebles y arte local de la isla.

La casa está orientada hacia el oeste y con el paseo marítimo de alto banco y la gran terraza, seguramente disfrutará de algunas de las puestas de sol más hermosas que la isla de Orcas tiene para ofrecer.

House is beautiful, property is amazing. Birds and deer. Kitchen is well appointed. Response from property manager was quick. Had some issues with the TV set up. Sent someone over and fixed it right away.

Relaxing Getaway

Very comfortable and well maintained house. Great views of the sound and nature (even a bald eagle hanging out 100 feet away). Loved the location as it was a quick trip to East Sound (great food) and Mt Constitution.

We have been coming back to this property year after year. The location, the view, the house all are idyllic. Whenever we go back to Orcas, that is where we go. Love this place.

Another great visit to Orcas

We stayed here several years ago when we came to run the Orcas 100. We returned again for the same reason and love the location and the VIEW.

Log Cabin Getaway

A well-appointed home with fantastic, beautiful water views. Very close to the Rosario resort and a short drive into Eastsound. Overall you will be impressed at just how quiet and serene your stay will be.

Beautiful home!

We loved staying at this house near Rosario Resort and Eastsound. The home was beautifully designed with gorgeous water views, clean and well equipped. King size bed was firm and comfortable with nice linens, very nice towels in bathrooms. We would definitely stay here again.

Swift Getaway

This was everything we hoped it would be! The white bedding on the comfortable beds with sane comfortable pillows are amazing! Stick with white! The deck was clean enough to lay on and watch the sky and listen to the birds. A short drive to the market good coffee and even the farmers market soon! Get a tea pot in there, thats my only suggestion.Maybe its there and we are blind. What a sweet, dreamy, cozy spot Thank you!

Peaceful Home with Beautiful Waterfront Views

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was the perfect location for relaxing, enjoying the scenery, and bird watching. Very convenient location in close proximity to Moran State Park, the Rosario resort, and Eastsound. We couldn’t have hoped for anything more and will definitely recommend this to others who stay on Orcas Island.

Magical Stay

Island Myth is a beautiful, cozy place. The views are amazing, and we sat by the fire, looking out the windows much of the time on our stay. We truly relaxed there. We had everything we needed, with a fully stocked kitchen, and the beds were so comfortable. We walked down to Rosario, and loved that we were so close to Moran State Park! Highly recommend!!!!

Orcas Island - Jan 2023

We had an amazing time on the island for a long weekend! The property is beautiful, well maintained and equipped. Close to downtown area (eastsound) and to Moran state park. The view from the deck and from inside the house is unbelievable, so spend time soaking it in!

Wonderful Peaceful Vacation

We had a wonderful vacation in this beautiful home with a gorgeous waterfront view from both the outdoor deck and indoor family room. A very comfortable and modern home that was very well appointed. The kitchen had all the amenities necessary for cooking meals. The hosts were very helpful and provided excellent communications that helped make it an easy place to find, stay, and relax. We thoroughly enjoyed the natural beauty of Orcas Island, and the tranquility of our accommodation. We hope to return someday soon.

Our first morning greeted us with a pink/rosy dawn tinging a glorious, indeed enviable view of the water as we drank our first cup of coffee, with a warm fire keeping us snug. A short drive to ‘the town of East Sound or Rosario Resort occasionally beckoned, affording us quality coffee or cocktails as desired. But really, why leave this comfortable and well appointed home once you have enough food and beverages at your disposal?

Orcas Island Gem

We spent a long weekend at this property for my 40th birthday and it was everything we had hoped it to be! The view alone is worth staying here - it is amazing regardless of the weather - rain or shine. The property was very clean upon arrival and was a perfect fit for our family of four with two young children. The location of the property was ideal as close to outdoor activities, downtown Eastsound, and Rosario resort. We definitely didn’t want to leave and will hope to come here again when we return to Orcas!

Ocean View - Close to Moran State Park

Our family thoroughly enjoyed this property and its location around the corner from Rosario Resort and Moran State Park. Rosario is a pickup point for Shearwater and Deer Harbor - sea kayaking and whale watching 5 min away! Views from property are spectacular although no beach access. Well equipped kitchen and 15 min from Eastsound grocery stores. We fell in love with Mountain Lake. Wonderful loop trail for walking/running followed by a swim in the lake.

Perfect Vacation Home

We stayed for a week in this lovely vacation cabin overlooking Orcas Sound. It was very quiet here, broken only by the occasional sound of a landing float plane. The cabin is equipped with everything one might need - from the kitchen to the bathroom and bedrooms. The wi-fi and TV systems worked flawlessly. The deck is very spacious and the views spectacular. We even had an occasional visit from an unafraid forked horn buck, still in full velvet - beautiful. The cabin is within easy reach of anywhere on the island and we explored it from end to end. Really nice hiking trails at Obstruction Pass State Park. Would definitely stay here again if visiting the island.

Meh…

House was ok - the windows were super dirty though, which was a shame because the view is spectacular. Deck was dirty, covered in pollen and dust, so couldn’t spend much time out there. We were super disappointed in the town as a whole because nothing was open! Restaurants and shops are still closed Mon-Thur, which was when we were there. Assumed that since it was spring break, that more would be open. As a result, we had to have most of our meals at the house. Spent lots of money to just sit and watch Netflix all week! 🙁

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful clean house with amazing views in a good location. However, there were some issues. One of the main reasons we selected this house was because of the outdoor options. The photos show multiple seating areas on the amazing deck and in the yard. There was not a single chair outside for us to sit and enjoy the views. We had to either stand up or sit on the steps when we were outside. Not ideal. I called and was told the chairs were in the locked garage. Sorry! This was a huge disappointment. Next, the thermostat was set to 55 and the house was freezing when we arrived. It took forever for the house to warm up. They knew we were coming but it was not a 'warm welcome'. Also, the instructions were conflicting from getting into the house to the wifi password. One set of documents had different information than the other. After some time we figured it out but it was frustrating after a long day of travel. I don't like to complain but, all of our issues could have been easily remedied and without cost involved. It didn't seem like they were prepared for guests. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this house. Perhaps you need to call ahead and let them know if you'd like to sit on the deck though.
