The retreat is located at the end of a paved road providing coveted seclusion and privacy with the convenience a 10-minute drive to the restaurants in Maggie Valley. With sweeping views of the surrounding mountains and SUNSETS, Ridgeline retreat offers over 3200 square feet of living space on 2 levels. New exotic solid hard wood floors and SS appliances add to the luxury and comfort of your stay. The retreat sleeps 8 comfortably in 3 bedrooms and a bunk room. Ridgeline also has 3 full bathrooms, a great room, game room, hot tub, 3 large stone fireplaces and 2 expansive porches both the full length of the house. Additional amenities include a fully equipped kitchen, multiple large screen HD Smart TVs in all bedrooms and living rooms, spectrum basic Cable, Netflix (provided), FREE Spectrum 1G Internet connection, full size washer/dryer and fire table on both porch decks.

Looking for a change of scenery while working from home? There are plenty of places to pop up your laptop at Ridgeline Retreat! Comfy bar stools at the kitchen or game room bar are perfect. Other things to note
There is no TRASH pickup on the mountain. There is a trash center less that 15min from the house on the way to Waynesville. Guests are asked to dispose of their trash at the trash center (details in the welcome guide) or coordinate with the owners to have all trash disposed of for an additional fee (if more than 3 bags).

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful house! The house had everything we needed to make our visit complete. The views were breathtaking! We went as a party of 7 and had more than enough room to spread out and relax. The coffee bar was a bonus! The game room kept the kids entertained the entire time we were there. Will definitely come back to stay again!

This was a delayed anniversary trip for my wife and I. To say this house and location was perfect would be an understatement. The house is awesome with absolutely beautiful views. There was no issue being secluded and taking a break from the busyness of life. All and all what an amazing vacation.

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Everything was perfect! We enjoyed staying here. Our teenagers loved it as well. The home was very well stocked and had alot to do with awesome instructions for everything. Owners were very responsive and polite. 10/10 recommend!!

Great Stay!

The stay we had here was fantastic. The owners were super helpful and communicated well. The views and property amendments were fantastic! Pay attention to the driving directions given and you’ll find it with no issues. The home feels very secure, comfortable, and secluded. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed all the games that were provided in addition to the game room. If you decide to cook at the home like we did a few times, there are plenty of supplies. I don’t know that I can say enough good things about this property. 10 out of 10! We would love to stay at this property again.

Truly Relaxing

The property is perfect and perfectly situated. It offers seclusion, yet only minutes from the many amenities the properties offer. With everything offered at the home itself, there's really no reason to leave. This will become our "go-to" for future mountain vacations.

Great getaway for work and play!

We had a great stay with our 2 young adult sons! Two people had to spend some time working remotely and both were able to easily videoconference with no problems (not always easy in the mountains). But who wants to work in a place like this?! The views are amazing and the house was very clean and comfortable with lots of games and activities. The kitchen was well equipped and great for cooking. We were able to stroll up the driveway in the mornings and evenings for birdwatching . We also enjoyed golf at the country club and numerous hikes in the area. It was a great stay! Thank you!

Great Trip - Beautiful Views

We rented for a boys reunion trip. The house was great. There were fantastic views off the back deck. We had a great time hanging out there. The house was great for our purposes. We really appreciate how the kitchen was well stocked as we made dinner two nights. Also, the game room was really good. Great trip and I recommend the house.

Perfect Location

House was beautiful and clean with all the things we needed and the view was even more beautiful in person than in the picture! Our grandson enjoyed walks in the woods with his dad and Popi and even saw some wild turkeys. It was a wonderful family getaway!!

Breathtaking

The pictures of the view from the cabin do not do it justice! They were breathtaking! The home was so beautiful and so spacious for our big party! The beds slept amazing and the hosts were so kind to leave us a high chair and pack n play so that we didn’t have to travel with ours! They were so responsive the whole time and we can’t wait to go back! Our favorite place we have ever stayed!

Amazing Home

This home is amazing! The best we have rented. The hosts communication from the start, during, and finish was exceptional. They provided a very informational booklet about the house and with suggestions of where to eat, things to see and do in and around the area. The home was very clean and had everything we could need. It felt like home the entire time. The porch had the most amazing views and great patio furniture to relax and admire the views. We enjoyed the game room and hot tub, especially after hikes. The beds were comfortable, little things like hampers, luggage racks, hot water and great water pressure, stocked kitchen for cooking and baking, movies, games, made the stay even better. And the coffee bar was top notch! Great location with paved roads. The pictures and description of the property was exact. We can't wait to come back to this wonderful home. Thank you Rini !

Smokey Mountain Magic

We had an absolutely wonderful time at the house. The hosts had the best information packet with house items, restaurants, hiking trails, etc. that I have ever seen with a VRBO house. Communication with them was easy, and helpful. The views from the deck are stunning! The directions on how to find the house are extremely helpful, as GPS sometimes gets confused. Just an absolutely wonderful place. The kids loved the hot tub, and pool table. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!

A True Smoky Mountains Retreat

This is a wonderful home with the most beautiful view overlooking the valley. Sitting on the porch in the morning with coffee or a glass of wine in the evening was so peaceful. My teens really enjoyed sitting in the hot tub at the end of the day after hiking and exploring the national park. Games downstairs provided lots of laughs and entertainment for everyone. The kitchen is well equipped and we made many meals for our large family over the week there with ease. There is a nice grocery store in Waynesville where you can get whatever you need. The beds are comfortable and there are plenty of extra blankets for cozying up on the porch in the cool mornings and evenings. We found a couple movies to watch together too. I was also working remotely during the week and found the internet connection to be reliable and a good speed. The location is quite perfect because it is fairly easy to get to, it is very private since it is secluded at the end of the road, and the road is well maintained. We saw a mama bear with a cub walking in the tree line behind the house one morning too. The hosts take pride in the home and have successfully made it a very comfortable and relaxing space for guests

Amazing Vacation and truly Million Dollar Views!

What an amazing vacation! Rini‘s place in Maggie Valley was everything we hoped for and more! Everything, I mean EVERYTHING, was so well thought out and left us wanting nothing more. The views are spectacular, the home is cozy and welcoming, and the location is fantastic. We had so much fun in the downstairs living area. We enjoyed so many laughs while playing pool, shuffleboard and arcade games. We soaked in the hot tub while it snowed all around us. Each morning, I got to enjoy a peaceful cup of coffee while looking at the most beautiful landscape. For those who, like to cook on vacation, Rini has stocked the kitchen with every single tool you may need. Everything was organized and labeled and so clean. The assortment of coffee and creamer was such a nice surprise. Beds were so cozy and bath amenities were perfect. This was by far the best VRBO experience we’ve had thus far. Rini was so attentive the entire trip! Thank you!

This property did not disappoint. We enjoyed our stay, very responsive property owners. We even had a family of bears entertain us in the back yard. This home is elegant and has the most beautiful views of the mountain range. If you are seeking a safe, well stocked home with magical views this is the place for you. It does not disappoint.

Ridgeline Review

The family had a terrific time. Ridgeline has a fantastic view with long range vistas of the mountains. You can see some city lights from below which adds some mystery to an evening with a few clouds. The rooms were well furnished and just felt like home. The gathering areas were also amazing with plenty of seating. We were all very comfortable. The linens and towels were first rate. And the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was extremely well supplied with pans, dishes, utensils, and even a selection of common spices. Lots of counter space and a great family table from which you could take in the view. We all especially liked the fire tables on the porches (we only used one). That was our frequent gathering place after the family returned from hiking and/or exploring nearby Waynesville. On our very first might, as we gathered around the fire table on the upper deck, we heard what sounded like a dog sniffing around in the woods near the house. After a number of minutes of this, to our great surprise, emerged a full grown black bear foraging at the edge of the woods. We got flashlights and laminated the bear so we got a good view of this great sight just 20 feet or so below us. The bear could care less about our lights on him. He just kept looking and searching as he made his way along the lower driveway and off into the woods again. Was a great way to start off our wonderful stay at Ridgeline. We would definitely return.

Our family fell in love with Maggie Valley and all the things it has to offer. We were looking for the perfect location that had year round views and stumbled upon the Ridgeline Retreat. We loved the open spaces, vaulted ceilings and beautiful fireplaces.

Maggie Valley is centrally located between Asheville, Cherokee and Gatlinburg. Its a beautiful and untouched area with easy day trips to amazing hikes and great towns.
