Our first trip to Lake Cumberland was perfect, including the cabin we rented from LakePointe Resort. Family owned with many places to choose from.

Fall Break Get-away

We decided last minute to get away for a couple of days at the last minute. The cabin was adorable and it was very relaxing! We accidentally locked ourselves out and the host were very gracious in assisting us! Would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone looking to get away!

Quiet and cozy

This is a nice quiet place to get away. Very clean! Not much to do in the chilly season but that's what we were looking for. The hot tub was absolutely perfect! I feel like during the summer it could get busy with the lake being close. That being said, I'm sure it's a blast in the summer as well. The host was super friendly and helpful, probably the best host we've ever had the pleasure to meet. Thank you for a wonderful weekend! Highly recommend!

Loved it

Organize a rental boat/jet skis/kayaks, ect. ahead of time from somewhere before coming (if you don’t have your own that is). We loved it. Took quiet walks at night. Visited different marinas and swam during the day. Absolutely loved the area and wanted to move there :) hot tub was a plus! and had all the space we needed for the 6 of us. Was exactly what we needed after traveling for 4-5 months. The owners are very very nice/kind/easy to talk to! We plan to be back :)

Great place and GREAT Owners!

First, thank you Barry for allowing us early check in and thank you Tina for coming to my rescue! Much appreciated! Now about the cabin... it was a great place to stay! It was very comfy, cozy and Clean Clean Clean. It had a nice kitchen with everything you need, a nice livIng room with comfy sofa and recliner. The bedroom was a large room with a very comfortable bed ... the loft was absolutely adorable... perfect for kids. Deck and hot tub was wonderful and once again... did we say clean clean clean!!! We would highly recommend this place and will plan to return!

Very clean

The owners make sure your stay is an awesome one. We have stayed with Lake Pointe for over ten years now. Always clean! Fresh smelling sheets and towels always makes me want to ask what type of laundry detergent do they use. But I always forget to ask. Lol!! Barry and Tina work very hard to keep their cabins up. Nicest family you will ever meet.

Clean & cozy cabin rental

We stayed in the E cabin during the week. Our apple themed cabin had the following amenities: - full bath -main floor Queen bedroom with door -second floor 2 twin beds in a loft setting up a staircase -outside deck -outside hot tub -grill -living room pullout couch -sink, coffee maker, fridge & freezer, stove, porch with rocking chairs The cabin was easy to get to & it was easy to park right out front & unpack. The queen bed was very comfortable. Some suggestions to add further comfort - purchase new: - toilet seat - can opener - kitchen scrubber/sponge - there were no tissues or paper towels & the tp was single ply - blackout curtains to replace the blinds in the queen bedroom - the sun comes right in very early A few suggestions: - we had spotty WiFi the entire time(if you stood off the porch in the road it would work) therefore we had no internet access within the cabin. At night we'd like to look up places to visit and we couldn't do that - the biggest suggestion we have is to add a dishwasher. It took us a very long time to hand wash flatware, glasses, pots, pans etc...for every meal. We cook a lot so this was a large time sucker. Best parts: - location - you are less than a mile from the Lake Cumberland marina - the hot tub was very clean and HOT -great fridge & ice maker - shower had great water pressure - our cabin was very quiet & relaxing We definitely recommend this cabin rental.

So clean and cozy

We had a wonderful stay. Owners are very nice and helpful. The cabin was so clean upon arrival. Enjoyed relaxing and spending time in the hot tub.

Just perfect

The property was extremely clean and perfectly felt like home. We had an amazing time just hanging out and enjoying the hot tub and fire pit. Would recommend to anyone and is the perfect space for a small group.

Great little get away!

My significant other and i desparately needed a couples get away and decided to book this cabin for the weekend. The check in process was so smooth and the owner was so friendly. The bath tub did have a crack in the floor but it was still plenty safe for showers. Only two things about it really was there is a cabin on the right and left but enough tree coverage you still feel secluded in the back. On the fron you are almost directly on the road. We still felt like it was plenty private. Other small thing is you have to drive pretty far to get to a walmart or dollar store if u need anything but there is a small convenience store 2 minutes away for drinks and snacks and they have a full menu. All in all a nice little cabin.

Very clean and peaceful. Everything we had hoped for.

Was looking for quiet and relaxation. Drive to the lake was only a few minutes. This was one of the most relaxing vacations in a very long time. Cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Definitely recommended.

Getaway greatness

Well worth the price, I am not overly social when not at work. They let us be to ourselves, but we're available if needed. Very friendly and efficient. The Marina is super close and may seem like alot to rent a pontoon but well worth it. My daughter whom is 6 loved the loft room extremely much, after she got over the fact I wasn't so close as I usually am. Didn't see any snakes whole trip which is awesome for me personally. We stayed 4 nights. Was an adjustment not having WiFi but they are working on that... Data worked in random spots. Still worth every penny. We did use the hot tub 1 evening and it was amazing too, being daughter and my first time along with being on boat. We had alot of first this trip and was perfect place to do so. Thank you very much Barry and Tina! Hope I got your names correct.

We love Lake Cumberland and everything about the area. We used to spend our family vacations here. We love boating, swimming, and fishing here. This is country living. The crickets chirp, the morning air is crisp and clean, and natural beauty abounds.

We are about 3/4 of a mile from Lake Cumberland Marina (formerly Alligator 2 Marina) on Lake Cumberland. We have plenty of free boat and trailer parking. All of our accommodations have external electricity for your boat's battery charger.

We are on-site and available for towel exchange, garbage collection, and other needs.

We place a very high emphasis on cleanliness. It is very important to us to know our guests are satisfied.

LakePointe Resort has been recognized by TripAdvisor.com with their "Certificate of Excellence" Award in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019.
