RECIENTEMENTE RENOVADO. 2 dormitorios, cabina amueblada. Rampa de embarcaciones privadas y muelles. Peces, vehículos todo terreno, motos de nieve.
Cabina clásica de dos dormitorios con nudos a 25 pies del lago Somo. La cabina viene con cocina completa, nevera, microondas, cafetera, tostadora. 2 dormitorios hace espacio para hasta 5 personas. Afuera hay 400 pies de frente al lago privado y un muelle para su bote, nadar, pescar y observar la puesta de sol. Rampa de barco privado en la propiedad.
Excelente pesca de almizcle, norteño, lucioperca, tipo de pez, bluegills. Disfrute de una fogata / malvaviscos asados en el pozo de fuego. Disfrute de un almuerzo al aire libre en el patio. ATV y motos de nieve están conectados a la propiedad. Cazando cerca. Perfecto para muchas ocasiones: vacaciones familiares, escapada en pareja, tranquilo, relajante, hermosa área de Northwoods. La vida silvestre en el área incluye ciervos, zorros, pichones, osos, pavos y águilas calvas. Esquiador acuático paraíso, slalom, descalzo, wakeboard, truco, tubo, rodilleras. Colores de otoño, visitas a bodegas cercanas, pesca en hielo, esquí en la nieve y snowboard en Granite Peak en Wausau.
La cabina # 2 comparte una pared con otra cabina. Hay una puerta interior con cerraduras en cada lado que conecta las dos cabinas para aquellos con grupos más grandes. Cada cabina tiene su propia entrada, cocina, baño y dormitorios. No hay espacio compartido entre las dos unidades.
La cocina recientemente renovada incluye baldosas de metro, granito, fregadero de acero inoxidable. Cuarto de baño actualizado con baldosas personalizadas. Alfombra nueva en dormitorios. Wifi y puerto Ethernet dentro de la cabina.

Clean and cozy. Newly remodeled. Kitchen is tiny, but who cares? There is a Weber grill and fire pit, lawn chairs, a dock 10 feet away, paddle boat and kayaks. We all had so much fun! We will be back!
Quiet waters for paddle boats and paddle boards.

Relaxing location and everything you need is there. Lou, the property owner, was on location most days and provided valuable information when he wasn't busy tending to the grounds and cabins. Great place at a reasonable price.

Quiet visit to the Northwoods

Beautiful view - was a very quiet time of year which was nice - just relaxed and enjoyed the view of Lake Somo in peace. Cabin was clean and had everything we needed.

Cute & Clean

Cabin 2 at Somo View Resort was very clean & cute. Beautiful western view and sunsets. We stayed 4 nights and had a nice time. We had our yellow lab with us, and you would never know this rental is pet friendly. Soooo clean & fresh smelling. The kitchen is small but well appointed. Communication between us and Lou & Colleen was excellent. Got right back to us if there was a question. We had never been to Lake Somo and had no idea about the lake. It is a very dark lake with visibility of only 8-10”. There isn’t a beach area if you’d want to swim. The shoreline is pretty with wild flowers, but it is a fisherman front (weedy). There were a few kayaks next to the property, but we didn’t know if we could use them. Cabin 2 worked very well for the 2 of us. It was very relaxing. Thank you Lou & Colleen.

Lake water

The cottage was clean and newly redone, but small. The lake was silty and brown and you couldn’t see the bottom. I went swimming once but there wasn’t a beach and my suit was brown inside when I took it off. The boat was brown from it, too. Quite disappointing.

Nice cabin with great lake views and access

Great Cabin Getaway

My family of four stayed here for a week. We had great weather and enjoyed exploring Lake Somo and the river with our kayaks. Though the cabin is cozy for the four of us, we had enough space and spent most of our days outside. Was easy to get into town but far enough away that the lake was pretty quite during the week. As expected, a little busier on the weekends. The pier was great and had a great view of the lake and sunsets. The grill was great to have and kitchen was fine just could use a couple more cups/glasses for the kids to use. Otherwise we had a great time and would recommend. Owners communicated well and responded to my few questions quickly. Thanks for sharing your cabin with us.

Perfect Get Away!

Nice remodeled 2 bedroom cabin (duplex). Located right on Somo Lake. Nice size lake for going out in a kayak. Saw Eagles & Loons. Neighbors were friendly. A short 8 mile drive to Tomahawk for supplies. The local gun range was noisy most evenings. Otherwise peaceful & campfires were hypnotic.

We loved it, we want to come back. Didn't even have to use the AC. Nice Breeze

There is nothing bad I can say. It was clean and quiet we had our dog and the next cabin had 2 dogs and We both agreed we couldn't hear each other's dogs. We found some excellent restaurants in Tomahawk and there is a bar on the other side of the lake that has fantastic fish on Fridays. The Mexican restaurant in town was wonderful. There was such good air flow in the cabin, even though it was hot all week we only needed the fan one day. I left a veggie peeler and a pizza cutter because i have enough of them at home and thought someone might need one. Sorry my dog is a little bit neighborhood watchish. We want to come back next year but think cabin 1 would be a better fit for us with the flat lake access and the dog won't be able to see everything going on so much.

I expected small. Bathroom was okay but had the tiniest, most useless sink I've ever seen. Recent remodel in the kichen was nice but the lower cupboards and contents were very dirty. Mattress on double bed sagged and needs replacing. Access to the pier was not safe. We left a day early.

Peace at the Lake

Our family was looking to get away from it all and find some peace and that’s wa a toy what we found, peace. We enjoyed kayaking, exploring the islands, the rope swing was as much fun as it sounds, nightly campfires and a few good storms from inside playing games. We can’t wait to come back. Thank you Lou and Colleen for sharing a piece of your happy place with us!!

Wonderful

Everything that was needed was in this lovely cabin. The view of the lake from inside was perfect. My husband and I caught a few panfish, our daughter came down for an afternoon and caught a huge musky! She always shows off.

Relaxing getaway on Lake Somo

Our family loved the lake! We brought our boat and we had our own private dock. The launch was next door, which is convenient. We found a private little island with a rope swing that the kids used for hours. It was a great last minute refresher before the upcoming school year! Thanks Lou

Great weekend in the northwoods

Rented for a father / son hunting weekend with 2 dads, 3 boys, and 2 dogs. Lots of great grouse hunting nearby, and the owner was very friendly and laid back. Did some fishing and kayaking too. No luck in the fish department, but a great spot to paddle. Will be back!

Cabin #2 Great Experience

Great experience! Super easy to confirm conformation for reservation! Loved the location, short drive to town, and any attraction nearby. Yet extremely peaceful! You could tell it was newly remodeled, and it is very well done! Bathroom is smaller however they made great use of the space! My Husband is 6'2" and he said he had plenty of room in the shower! Same with the kitchen. Great use of the space. Very well kept, and extremely clean inside. Had a beautiful view to wake up to. Wish we would have been able to explore the lake. However this time we only had the bike with us, and it was a bit to cold to try out the kayaks. Lou was fantastic to work with, and very quick to respond! 5 stars all the way!

Awesome vacation at Somo View Resort

Enjoyed every moment at the cabin. Hosts made every effort to ensure we were comfortable. Fishing was excellent from two docks right on site. Water was just a few steps away, our grandson even enjoyed swimming, i.e. "cannonballs" from the dock. Enjoyed it so much, booked another stay!!!

Great Owner and Cabin

Lou was great to work with and the cabin was perfect for our family. Check in was easy and the cabin was clean and located on a quiet lake. We enjoyed using the fire pit each night. Great cabin!

Great little cabin!

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The hosts were very friendly and made themselves available to answer any questions. It was very clean and cozy for our family (and dog)! The kayaks and paddle boat were a great bonus! We also caught many fish off the dock in the backyard! We would definitely stay again!

Great rental!

The location was wonderful, the view was beautiful and the property was clean. It was a bit small, but since there were only 2 of us it worked just fine.
