Great stay

This is a clean, well-appointed apartment in a good location. It is only a few bocks from a metro station. Alessandro is a wonderful, communicative host. He checked in many times and recommended a great restaurant. He even made us a reservation. Note that there is only a kitchen, bathroom and two large bedrooms. There is no living room. Also, the street below the bedroom windows can be very loud. Be sure to bring shampoo and soap. We were very happy with this apartment and enjoyed our six-night stay.

Nice apartment near Vatican City

We spent two nights in Rome. This is my 2nd time staying at this house. We love the place for its convenient location to Vatican and other nearby attractions in Rome. The place is spacious, clean and well maintained. It works very well for us. The host is friendly and accommodating.

Cozy and clean

This was our last stop on a 22 day European vacation. These beds were the coziest and the house was so clean. It could be loud outside at night but we just wore ear plugs. Great place!

Actually, 4.5 stars, but it won't let me do halves. Everything was very clean, and communication was excellent. It looked like in the photos. Location was great - stone's throw from the Vatican, metro, buses. Bedrooms were large. Some small negatives - it is on a main street and noisy. The shower drains slowly. The lighting is stark and the sheets are something other than cotton. These are all minor though. It was a great base for our stay in Rome and theh host was great.

Rome weekend

This is a good apartment when visiting Rome. Clean and tidy. It’s in a good location, just 100metres from Ottaviano metro station and 10 minutes walk to Vatican City. Lots of good bars and restaurants in the vicinity.

The perfect location to discover Rome

We had very good experience with this apartment in the affluent residential neighborhood of Prati. The biggest value for us was its location close to the Vatican city end the historic center of Rome and the metro station as well, all close enough to reach rapidly by walking. Nice and affordable coffee bars and restaurants just outside of the building. We highly recommend this place for short visits in Rome.

Enjoyed our stay. This place is close to everything, including the Metro. There were 4 of us and it was plenty of room. Note, there is a small kitchen area, but no central living room space to sit on a couch together and hangout. It was fine for us because it was a short stay and we were out and about except to sleep. Excellent communication with owner.

Great location

This is a fantastic location for sightseeing in the northern part of the city. It's very close to the Vatican, Castel Sant'Angelo, and other attractions. The area is packed with restaurants—more than you could ever try in one trip. Plus, it's conveniently located near the metro. The apartment is spacious and comfortable. The only downside was the lack of a shelf or holder for soap and shampoo in the shower.Alessandro met us at the door and showed us the entire apartment. Very good host!

Helpful host and convenient location

I stayed for a week during a business trip to Rome. Alessandro was helpful and attentive, and nicely put up with my tardiness upon initial arrival (starting with travel delays). The apartment was quiet at night despite its location along a busy street (in my wintertime experience). It's extremely convenient to a Metro station along the red Line A. I would stay again.

Nice Apartment with Excellent Location

My family and I stayed at the location for 4 nights. We had a good time with the rental. The location is great. It is right on the city block and a few blocks from Vatican City and Vatican museum. The size is decent, a bit small for the U.S. guests. It is fine for 4 people. The kitchen is nice with a big fridge. The downside is there is limited control over the temperature of the house, and the hot water is only good for 5 minutes.

Great stay in Rome

Very nice, clean and spacious apartment, conveniently located near Vatican and public transit to go anywhere in Rome. Great area with restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Check-in was easy, Alessandro met us at the door and showed us the apartment. Overall, very good experience. One small suggestion - it would be nice to have a second set of keys, since the key card controls the lights, and if someone wants to remain in the apartment when someone with the key is gone they would have no lights.

Convenient, comfortable pied-a-terre

Our family had a fabulous quick stay here in June. It is literally right around the corner from the Vatican and just a block from the major metro line. It couldn’t have been easier to get around. The neighborhood is bustling but also not in the heart of the truly busy tourist neighborhoods. The rooms are spacious and have A/C. The only thing that was missing if you were going to stay a bit longer was a sitting area. It’s really just two bedrooms, bath and kitchen with a table for four. If you plan to do a lot of cooking, the kitchen is very functional but could have been enhanced with small extras like a pasta strainer. All in all, we found it perfect for us and highly recommend this as your place to stay in Rome.

Amazing apartment in brilliant location

Stayed in this apartment for 3 weeks and could not have chosen a better place as a base to explore Rome. With the bus 23 just outside the door, the 70 bus,the Ottaviano Metro and the 19 tram all around 2 blocks away, we could explore everywhere in Rome. As to the apartment, the bedrooms are spacious, lovely kitchen and very suitable bathroom, made our stay a pleasure. The local area is worth exploring, with some wonderful restaurants, starting right outside the front door. Alessandro was very helpful to us, meeting us at the apartment and regularly checked in with us by phone to see if we needed any assistance. He also organised our taxi at the end of the trip. I would recommend this apartment without hesitation.

Clean, convenient place to stay when in Rome!

We really enjoyed our stay at Alessandro’s apartment! Alessandro was friendly, offered vacation and restaurant suggestions and periodically checked on our well being. The location is great—located just a 5 minute walk from the entrance to the Vatican museum. In fact, you can see the Vatican’s north wall from the apartment. The Bascillica is a short 10 minute walk. The metro is only 2 blocks away, there is a mini-mart located next door, and many restaurants within a 5 minute walk. We brought water bottles and enjoyed the cold water fountain at the corner. If you live in the country, understand that this is a city apartment so you will not hear crickets at night. 😁 The bedrooms are very spacious and the kitchen had everything we needed, but there is no kettle. We would stay here again if we are fortunate enough to visit Rome again.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in Alessandros Wohnung sehr genossen! Die Wohnung ist im Internet sehr passend beschrieben und die Fotos zeigen das, was man vorfindet. Begeistert haben uns die besondere Sauberkeit, die Geräumigkeit und der Komfort der Wohnung (bequeme Betten, Schallschutzfenster und eine sehr gute Klimaanlage). Das Haus ist sehr ruhig, obwohl es an einer Hauptverkehrsstraße liegt! Da die Wohnung sich im vierten Stock befindet (mit Aufzug), ist sie hell und luftig. In der nahen Umgebung befindet sich alles, was man für einen schönen Aufenthalt braucht: Supermarkt, viele sehr gute und günstige Restaurants, in denen vor allem Einheimische essen, die Metro "Ottaviano", Apotheken etc. Alessandro hat durch seine Kommunikation, mit seinen Empfehlungen und seiner Hilfe besonders zum Gelingen unseres Urlaubs beigetragen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl und willkommen gefühlt und möchten gerne bald wiederkommen. Unsere wärmste Empfehlung für diese schöne Wohnung!
