Filthy ants everywhere.

When we arrived there were ants everywhere. We had to go buy ant spray and clean the whole place. We were afraid to put our luggage on the floor. The first floor bedroom carpet is filthy and the room smells like a damp basement. We would not walk around the place without shoes on. When Cavasa was contacted we were told they would not place us somewhere else. The cleaning people are not doing there job and if I were the owner I would not have cavasa manage it anymore

We love it!

It was our second time staying in this home. We came for a week to vacation and absolutely love how quiet, and cozy the space is. Easy access to beaches and ponds. It was perfect for our family of 5 and reminded us of our home away from home. We look forward to coming again next summer

Escape at the Cape

We do a yearly trip to the Cape every year. We have stayed at the Ocean Edge Golf Resort with family previously and I liked the layout and location of this condo much better. The main bedroom is on the main floor and the loft has three beds, perfect for the kids. They also have access to a tv with a firestick. It is a very safe and cute community with multiple pools ($25 per person per day so choose wisely), golf, tennis, and a restaurant. You can also go across the street to the Ocean Edge Resort Mansion for food and lawn games. And you are near some very popular beaches and a lake to do whatever your heart desires. The place is worn down and there were a few issues that the manager was notified of but it worked well for our family of 5 at this price. The space and layout is great. And in an area where there is no cell service. The wifi worked well. The only real complaint that was "hard" to overlook was the beds. Other than the full/queen in loft the beds were hard as a rock and no one who was in those beds were comfortable as that is not our preference. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Brewster stay

We enjoyed the condo very much. The layout worked great for us. It was very clean and comfortable and the location was great. It could use a facelift and a tv in the bedroom but aside from that it was great.

Beautiful house!!!

This house was so easy and clean and near tennis courts and Fletcher pool.. very convenient and with a beautiful and calm neighborhood. Loved it!

Location is everything a great family vacation to start with

This property is located in one of the quier section of the resort complex, but is still convenience to get to the amenities that Ocean Edge resort offers. The house was clean and everything that my family needs for an enjoyable weekend was there. I ended cooking, enjoyed breakfast and dinner with my family. One way to bit the inflation. The loft was super cool. My boys loved to have their own court to chill.

Great Place

The only issue we had was with the televisions. very complicated to use and could not find local news. Period also, what about. Also would have been nice if there was a t v in the master bedroom!

A little work would go a long way

The good: The towels and soap/shampoo that were included were a nice touch. The towels were very clean and usable. There were enough air conditioning units to be comfortable. We have stayed at Ocean Edge before, it is a great location for mid-cape, beaches, and the pools are fun. The K-cup coffee maker worked great and the bathtubs and inside the sinks were nice and clean. What needs some work: The kitchen was a bit shabby - inside of the cabinets were dirty, dirty coffee cup, crumbs in drawers, some mold around the sink. The carpeting needs a serious wash and the bathmat/carpet in the first-floor bathroom smelled so horrible, I doubt it had ever been washed. Washing the walls/painting would also go a long way to making it look better. Lastly, the skylight has no shade, if you are sleeping in the loft it will be sunny. I fixed the shade in the downstairs bedroom so that now goes all the way down.

Disappointed

There were several problems regarding the management and maintenance of the unit. The unit advertised central a/c at the time of booking but it was not. Water poured out of the freezer and into the bins below ruining our fruit and vegetables. The grill had one heating element broken in two and only heated up to 175 degrees necessitating transfer of raw hamburgers to the oven. Multiple calls and emails to Vacasa management did not result in repairs being made while we there and it took two weeks of repeated phone calls and emails after returning to get any compensation. Worst of all, when I called VRBO I was admonished for not calling them instead of Vacasa sooner despite the fact that every email I received after booking came from Vicasa and not VRBO. The area was landscaped beautifully and it was a shame that we had these problems with the unit.

Relaxing Quiet Location

Initial impression, "original old" but nice. Excellent location for biking and trail walks, restaurants, and beaches. A few issues were: Main bedroom bedspread rolled up in the closet, bed unfinished. Window blind in main bedroom broken and found in the closet, we managed to attach it but could not put it up or down. The beds and pillows are just ok in quality and the plastic mattress pad crunched every time you turned in bed (poor quality). The refrigerator is old and was noisy but worked. A few small repairs and attention to details could improve this vacation rental.

Great facilities and a great location

Great trip

Spent school break here with the kids. Place was great, clean and ready on time. No issues at all and the kids loved the loft area. Easy living for 4 people. Short walk to fletcher pool, tennis and basketball court.

Great long weekend getaway!

Home was super clean and everything we needed was right at hand. The floors and carpets are not new but super cleaned. The layout of the home is perfect for a family weekend get away. Lofted kids space with their own bathroom upstairs, separate bedroom downstairs with a super comfy king bed and ample closet space. Living room is perfect for game night and dinner table is good sized for family of up 6. Having a laundry in unit also super helpful. Outdoor space with table for four feels super private and being an end unit makes the whole place feel more like a house than a condo. Having a Bluetooth sound system is also a nice extra. Looking forward to staying again soon. Thanks for a wonderful long weekend!

Suggestions

Clean and a well equipped kitchen, lighting could have been better, it would have been helpful to have instructions for garbage disposal and there was only i plastic garbage bag in unit. A call was made about water on the floor from the refrigerator and use of television, it was acknowledge by e-mail but no action taken.

Pass on this one

Stayed early August. Only positives were ACs worked and linens/towels provided. Otherwise unit was not cleaned adequately (dirty floors), wet, dirty and smelly bathroom rugs, no bathroom wastebaskets provided and previous renter made one out of milk jug which was left unemptied, only 5 forks for 6 renters!, furniture and decor missing from online listing, no replacement batteries for remotes, etc. Needed to call mgmt co multiple times for response. Although some monies returned, was not worth our vacation time and effort.
