Located in the center of picturesque village of Alvor with shops, market hall and night life within a couple of minutes.

140 restaurant and numerous bars offer a wide variety of choices for everyone.

Everyone loves Alvor beach. Take a walk along the beach and the 6 km of wooden walkways stretching along the shore and the protected dunes.

Alvor surroundings offers a great variety of activities. The beach, walking trails, mini golf, golf, tennis, cycling, kiting and much more.

Very clean and well stocked. Mikeal was very responsive and easy to work with. One minor concern was noise in the evening due to the Gastrobar 2 doors down. Another thing to be aware of is the number of stairs. It could be challenging for some people. Overall, it’s a nice place within walking distance to many good restaurants and shops.

Amazing place!

This house was fantastic! Of all the places I’ve stayed in Europe, this was one of my favorites. The house is amazing equipped. The location is excellent. The rooms are beautiful and the beds were comfortable. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. We loved it.

The property was amazing spacious with all the facilities to cater for a group our large family, Mick the host was brilliant with communication and he and his wife have made their townhouse welcoming and to a very high specification! We all enjoy our stay and wanted for nothing because everything was provided for a wonderful stay... I would go back and recommend it in a heartbeat!!! Thank you Mikael,

Wonderful Bird's Nest

The property was fantastic for 3 families of 4. Everyone had beds, lots of bathrooms and the roof top hot tub was a huge hit. Decor was very modern, the unit was clean, and the property manager was very helpful. Rey also was great at getting back to me when there were questions as we got closer to the check-in. The house itself is about a 30 second walk from shopping, restaurants, etc.. and roughly a 10 minute walk to the beach. All doable! I highly recommend this property.

What a fantastic property - thank you so much to Rey and Rosario for such a great week..

Complete and utter amazement at the thought and effort that has gone into creating The Birds Nest. The rooms are amazing - the 3 roof areas perfect and the kitchen really does have everything. The bedrooms really did make it a home from home for all of us and everybody couldn't help but comment what a wonderful property this was. The location was brilliant as you are 10 minutes from the beach or 2 minutes from the restaurants and bars in the evening. If you needed escape from the heat - the courtyard or air conned rooms were your friend - and for a wonderful sundowner - with amazing views - you cannot beat the roof terrace with jacuzzi and music and if you are up for it a BBQ. Not sure what TV they have but the picture quality when watching a film on Apple TV / WiFi was surreal.. like watching a computer game it was that good. I really would recommend this place to any groups/extended families as there is more than enough space to congregate / socialise and/or get away from it all. Thank you guys and we do hope to be back again sometime soon... Paul

Great family trip to Portugal.

We were two families that found this home well appointed and in an amazing location. The nightlife of Alvor is amazing. It’s a short walk to the beach and grocery store. We enjoyed the rooftop deck with views of the ocean and town as well as the hot tub which the kids all used. I would definitely stay at “The Birds Nest” again

Just book it!

We enjoyed an incredible week at the beautiful Birds Nest. The owners were always fast with a response and even managed to let us check in early on our arrival day. The location is perfect and walkable to everything you could possibly want to see or do. The house is wonderfully appointed and the owners have thought of everything you could need for a dinner at home for a large group or just enjoying time with friends relaxing at the house. Outstanding value for the money.

The perfect villa for our family holiday

The location was central to all of the Alvor activity but not in a way that you could hear any noise from the streets around. The villa was not only well situated, it was also like living in a beautifully decorated millionaire's pad. The rooms were spacious and spotless. The only issue I can think of was that the kitchen table was a bit too near the fridge preventing it from being opened if you were standing in front of it. You need to be stick thin, lol. Rodriego, the care taker, was always close at hand if you needed anything. Altogether, a lovely place!

Fabulous property

The Bird’s Nest absolutely lived up to our (high) expectations. I stayed with a group of friends. It is a perfect location for restaurants, the beach, walking on the boardwalks, and we had no need for cars/taxis (not easy for a large group). The outdoor areas are perfect for catching the sun as it moves during the day, all with plenty of seating/loungers. The property is spacious, lots of room in the bedrooms, even the two smaller ones on the ground floor have good wardrobe space and are perfectly adequate. Bathrooms are designed to a high standard and walk in showers are large. The kitchen must be the best equipped kitchen in Alvor. We were short of nothing! The owners were there to greet us and hand over the keys. They were extremely accommodating and willing to fit in with our flights etc and nothing was too much trouble. Would I stay here again.... most definitely. Thank you for making our holiday fantastic.

Great property and owners in perfect Alvor

We stayed here for the second year in a row. Our 2 families had so much fun. The property accommodates our 9 people very comfortably. Rey is very good to deal with. Alvor has great restaurants, a fantastic beach, a good night life, lots of other attractions, and then you return to a fantastic house. Wish we could do this every year. Highly, highly recommend!

Fantastic Townhouse - Loved it!

Just returned from an amazing week at the Birds Nest in Alvor with my family of 8 ranging from age 14 to 73. The location is perfect as it is on a quiet street but only a few hundred yards from all of the bars, cafes and restaurants and also very close to the waterfront and beaches. The accommodation is spotless, brand new and no expense has been spared in kitting it out from top to bottom. The kitchen is large and has everything (and more) that you could possibly need. They have thought of everything. Laundry room a blessing! (They even provide beach towels). Bedrooms and bathrooms are gorgeous. The 4 upstairs bedrooms are larger than the two downstairs and have mini fridges with complimentary wine and water. The Swan suite with private terrace is gorgeous which was an afternoon sun trap but there is also a balcony for the morning sun. The rooftop views are lovely watching the sunset and 360 degree views from the comfort of the hot tub. We had a few BBQs up there and some great nights up there. I would definitely recommend this place for a large extended family or groups of couples (but not young children due to marble stairs). There is so much space that you can find solitude if you wish but congregate in one of the terraces if you wish. Loved it.

The Bird's Nest is perfect!

Our 2 families stayed at The Bird's Nest for 7 days. It accommodated 9 of us beautifully. It is modern and so well laid out - we had so much space for the nine of us. It has everything you require to cook, clean, relax, etc. It has 4 great outside spaces as well. It is so well-situated within Alvor - you can easily walk to a restaurants, pubs, the beach or the markets. The owners are helpful and very responsive and if you have any questions during your stay Sonia is readily available to help. I can highly recommend The Bird's Nest. We are already discussing returning next summer.

The best you can get.

Alvor and " the birds nest" has everything for a perfect holyday. Close to many golf courses, good resturants and the never ending beach Praia de Alvor on walking distance. (5-10 min). We can recommend resturants Ruccola and A´Ribeira. very good food and perfect service. Saved the best for last "the birds nest" is excellent. luxury and charming right in the middle of every thing. We can highly recommend it.

Lyxigt, hemtrevligt och avkopplande

Ett lyxigt, modernt och hemtrevligt inrett boende med alla faciliteter och rum i tre våningar. Här finns flera terrasser. Takterrassen med jacuzzi bjuder på vacker utsikt över Alvor och havet. Läget är lugnt och utan störande ljud nattetid. Vi uppskattade att kunna gå och köpa färska varor till bageri och saluhall inför frukosten. Staden bjuder på ett stort utbud av restauranger och underhållning, allt på gångavstånd. Vi gillade promenaderna till den vidsträckta och fantastiska sandstranden. Rekommenderas varmt!

It´s a magnificent villa in the midst of Alvor!

A very clean house with very generous space and excellent standards. The bubble pool on the roof with the wonderful view over the sea gives a spa-luxury added! Nice seawalks, beach swims and golf was all great. Fresh bread from bakery, and fruit from the market was a perfect start ogf the day. Good restaurants and more locals than tourists added to the flavour. I can gladly recommend it.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Calefacción radial, 8 unidades de aire acondicionado, un sistema de aspiración centralizado y un cuarto de pilas separado que ofrece una lavadora y una secadora de tambor. La cocina bien equipada dispone de todas las comodidades tales como una placa de inducción, una nevera americana, un lavavajillas, un armario con estantes para secar platos y más.
