Acogedora cabaña actualizada y lista para recibir huéspedes. Más de 1/4 acre de tierra en un lote de esquina. A pasos del río Zigzag. Aislado pero corto paseo hasta el pueblo de rododendro. Lleno de encanto, con paredes de cedro T&G, chimenea de roca de río y cómoda bañera con patas. Maestro abovedado y puertas francesas a gran terraza con vistas al bosque. Barbacoa en la terraza.
Dormitorio principal con cama queen, segundo dormitorio con queen y tercera habitación con literas gemelas sobre gemelas. Ideal para una escapada romántica o familias pequeñas. 9 millas al campamento del gobierno y estaciones de esquí. Grandes restaurantes y cafeterías locales.

August Stay at Rhod House

Good stay

Very cute, clean and comfortable cabin in the woods. Very much as advertised. Some road noise from highway but mostly you just hear the nearby creek.

Great Stay

We wanted a place that had that cabin in the woods feel. This definitely hit the mark. We didn’t do any cooking as we were on the go quite a bit, but found that the cabin was outfitted well. A couple people mentioned that getting to the cabin felt like they were off-roading, but if you follow the directions given during checkin in, then getting there is a breeze. Google maps takes you another route which is a little trickier. Very cool river with a pedestrian bridge about 50yds from the front porch. Walk across that, then cross the hwy and there is a small grocery store, coffee shop, and pizza place. We would stay here again!

The cabin we stayed in was amazing. Cozy and roomy. Clean and has kitchen things already so it helped with our cooking! The stay was very nice. The thing is that the path to get to our cabin was a bit risky, fitting in between two trees that probably wouldn’t fit a truck and then going super slow over all of the big rocks and divots that I scraped on for one of them going super slow. The road getting to and from really should be fixed. It would make this place really top notch for a cabin getaway!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was perfect to explore both the east side of Mt Hood and the NW side in different outings. We enjoyed Trillium lake at sunset, hiking up to Mirror lake early morning and spending time at Lost lake, which was such a gem! The cabin was clean and very well stocked. It is surrounded by trees which was beautiful and helped with the sound from the main road. The shower tub was a little bit of a challenge for my 6’6” tall husband.

Lovely little house in the woods

The Rhod House was perfect. Nice spot near many trailheads and convenient to groceries and supplies. Enjoyed the sounds of water from ZigZag Creek. Everything was tidy and worked great. Dreamy cabin, can imagine it is wonderful in all seasons. Very happy with our stay.

Cute house

In town for a wedding . Easy to find . And a very cute house . Only negative is no AC and shower/claw tub is beautiful but is very dangerous . Someone is going to get hurt getting in and out of that thing and pull the curtain out of the ceiling before they hit the ground .

Sweet spot with everything

Great little spot with a fly kitchen. Lots of relaxing spots to hang inside and out and the cabin location has great proximity to many outdoor activities.

Great little cabin!

Awesome little cabin in a very quiet neighborhood! Right next to the Zig Zag River which is lovely to listen to/observe. My partner and I had a very relaxing weekend here which is exactly what we were looking for!

Perfect

The cabin was adorable and just the right size! The beds were very comfortable and each room is separate enough to give privacy. We loved the claw foot tub and the hottub. The property is well maintained and the little foot bridge leading to a store and coffee shop was the best!! Give Fernies a try for breakfast. We will definitely be coming back to the Rhode House.

Great place

This spot was fantastic. Hwy 26 is just thru the trees but the road noise is almost entirely covered by the stream. We visited in July 2022 and it would have been really nice to have screens on the windows and doors to keep the mosquitoes out.
