Esta propiedad brillante y hermosa fue comprada y diseñada recientemente teniendo en cuenta al inquilino de Beachwalk Resort. Traiga a toda la familia y extiéndase en esta casa de 4 dormitorios y 3 baños que se extiende por más de 2,300 pies cuadrados. Situado al final de un pintoresco callejón sin salida, seguramente disfrutará de su estancia aquí en Sandy Shores. Reserve su corta estadía para 2019, o una semana completa en el verano para 2020.

Family retreat

We stayed here for a week. The house was very nice with lots of space for two families. We enjoyed the beach, the hut and pool.

Very nice house!

We had six adults and three under the age of four and there was ample space for all of us. Nicely decorated with everything we needed. The golf cart was a great convenience! Staff was great to work with.

Awesome house, great stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My group LOVED our stay at Sandy Shores. We had a group of 6 women, and it was very comfortable to have 3 in the bunk beds and 3 in their own rooms. (Quick note because the photos and description were kinda mixed up -- the upstairs room with its own bathroom is the same one with its own deck; the bunk room and another queen bedroom share the J&J bathroom.) The house was spotless, warm and comfortable on a cold November day. The kitchen had great supplies and there were nice blankets and towels. We took a little walk around the neighborhood and loved it. The office staff was extremely friendly, kind, and flexible. The only minor complaints were that the fireplace didn't work and that a neighbor was unnecessarily rude to us regarding the parking spaces (which is totally outside of Beachwalk's control; rude people exist everywhere). We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property looked cute from the outside, but there were many odd quirks about it that made our stay less than perfect. The layout of the homes in this community are very close together, and even more so when you place the fire pit in the front yard of a house on a circle. There was no privacy for ANY conversations outdoors, and even indoor conversations could be heard if the windows were open- which they were until the barking of the neighbors dog kept me from getting to sleep on our first night. We also found the front door wide open (inside the screened porch) upon arrival and realized later it was likely because the door did not fit properly and would not stay closed unless it was locked. This was the case with several of the interior doors as well (and our bedroom door would not even lock because the door was so misaligned.) The most upsetting part of this homes "problems" was the level of cleanliness which started off on the wrong foot when we arrived and found the kitchen counters were sticky all over! Management responded quickly to send someone to the house to clean the counters. As our weekend progressed and we found that everyone had black feet after walking barefoot in the house we realized that the floors were not clean either. Overall, I was disappointed and would not recommend this house to a friend.

Shelly, your review is appreciated and was helpful in making the necessary corrections to ensure the doors were working properly and cleanliness was improved. Upon your departure we had a professional floor cleaner out who steamed cleaned the grout and also suggested a change to the floor cleaner being used. In addition, we had our maintenance team look at the doors and make necessary adjustments.

We liked being in the cul-de-sac because kids rode bikes & scooters with adults supervising. Found some new games to play in the well-stocked chest,too! Liked the large open floor plan of the home especially the large enclosed porch. The golf cart was great for us as well. Everything was in walkable distance such as the pool etc. Though the pool was smaller than I thought it was never really crowded when we went there despite somany homes all having access to it. We will go back but need a house with one more room to accommodate our growing family.

A great fall get-away to Michigan City!

The house is beautiful! This is our second year to stay there, and we thoroughly enjoyed it! We appreciated having the cart available, we enjoyed the roominess, and we loved eating on the front porch and having s’mores around the fire pit! It’s close to everything ( the outlet mall ❤️, dunes, apple orchard, beach). We hope to stay there again.

It’s off the beaten path, but still close to everything...pool, fishing pier, playground, putting green....even the beach. The golf cart is a big plus to get around the complex. House is stocked with pots, pans, grills, plates galore. Was great for our family cooked meals. There were games for family play and lots of room to have fun.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Sandy Shores is completely updated and very clean! The location was in a fantastic spot! We were on a cul-de-sac, so there wasn't a lot of traffic. And we were centrally located within the community making the pool and other attractions a short walk away. The included golf cart was a nice touch and there was a parking lot specifically for golf carts right across from the entrance to the Lake Michigan beach access.The house was very well equipped with dishes, pots & pans and all sorts of other supplies. We were also very pleasantly surprised by the included linens! The towels were large, fluffy bath sheets. And the beds were already fully made with mattress pads, sheets, blankets and duvets. (Previously, we had stayed with another resort where linens were provided, but it only meant sheets and you had to put them on the bed yourself.)We couldn't find much to do outside of the Beachwalk Resort, though we did enjoy an afternoon spent at the outlet mall. Michigan City is pretty run down and there are some very rough spots that we were kinda nervous to drive through.Overall, we spent a ton of time at the house enjoying the fire pit, laying in the hammock, listening to the rain on the screened-in front porch and playing games around the large dining room table.If I had to give one negative, it would be that the downstairs master bedroom was the only one with a television. We didn't spend much time watching TV, but we have one in our bedroom at home and it's how we like to wind down before falling asleep.
