Great stay!

This was a great place to stay with awesome theming. I loved the neighborhood and pool. It was very safe and clean. The host was very kind and quick to respond. The house was spacious and a great home away from home. It was about 17-25 min from Disney property depending on traffic.

Great place for your Orlando stay!

Nice and big for the whole family! We really enjoyed the pool, and all parks were fairly close. The decor is ADORABLE! Mike is a great host and was always quick to reply with any questions.

Great location and perfect for our vacation

The house was very nice and clean. We have stayed in the Emerald Lake resort before and love how close it is to Disney. There we no real issues with the property so there was no need to contact management. We would definitely stay in the house again.

The house is perfect for a Disney staycation. Mike, the owner, was helpful and responded quickly to any concern. Twenty minutes from Disney and plenty of golf too!

Making Memories

The home was well thought out for the family vacationing. The themed rooms were well designed and suited for the whole family. My grandson loved the pool and was super excited with the decor. The adults were equally as pleased. Just a tip pool heat may still be needed in June for us "Mountain people" ;)

Nice affordable house

We have stayed in emeral islands for the last few years. Great gated community. Close to all of the attractions. The host was very patient as my bank kept stopping payment as fraud. He kept trying and communicated quickly through it all. The house was very clean and decorated nicely. Loved the foosball table and air hockey. Used that every night. We had a nice time here and would recommend to others.

Close to theme parks, clean, pet friendly

We traveled with our 5 kids, son’s girlfriend and dog. It was plenty of space. We have stayed at another property with the same owner and both were the cleanest that we have stayed in. I can’t stand dirty feet but the floors were so clean that did not happen! We were so close the the parks that I think it’s better than being on property and waiting for a bus. Great stay and we will be back. The only problem was that there were not enough coffee mugs and more towels are needed since this is a home that sleeps many. Great stay and we will be back!

NOT AS EXPECTED

We travel extensively and have rented homes all over the country so we know what to expect. This home is not a "10" as previously reviewed. Falls short on so may levels. The renters must have been friends and family of the host. Needs lots of TLC. Perhaps the host could use some of 361 "host fee"(first time encountered this, whatever it is) for improvements. The only thing that rates a 10 is the location, in a nice, well maintained complex.

Serene Celebration

Absolutely loved the property - we had a marvelous stay. House is exactly as pictured & the wooded area behind the house provided a great private feel for things. My family runs a little warm so we used fans at night (to be fair, it was crazy hot weather the whole time we were in Florida) - NOT a complaint at all, just something to note if you're one of those sleeper types - fans were available in the house. Sleek, clean & convenient to the parks & shopping - we even managed to avoid traffic on all our park visit days. We plan to visit the area later this year & will absolutely hope to book this property again if it's available. Thanks Mike, for everything!

We loved this property.

We enjoyed our stay here. My only negatives are the lack of toilet paper and trash bags. I feel these should have been provided. Also, someone entered the enclosed pool area in the night/early morning and I feel that we should have been given warning that people were entering the property while we were there. It made us feel uncomfortable.

Amazing House for a Disney Getaway!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mike’s house. There was plenty of room and all the amenities a family could ask for. The rooms are all spacious and have been decorated so nicely! Plenty of different areas in the house with TVs or games if you are wanting to do different things then the rest of the family. There are fans in every room if you are like me and enjoy having the white noise while you sleep. Then there is the pool area…It is amazing!!!!! We spent many hours out there in the peace and quiet and it was also great for our little kids. Mike was a great host and even checked in with us when we got news of the hurricane coming and made sure we all felt safe! We all wished we had another week in Florida just to stay at the property and enjoy! Will definitely recommend to others and we will rebook again if ever we go back!!

Good home to stay at for small families

Pros: Home was as advertised. Decor was great- rooms were very well done. Pool was beautiful and refreshing! Privacy in back made for some enjoyable bird, butterfly, and armadillo watching. Location/neighborhood is top notch. Owner responded to messages quickly (see below) Cons: Renters before us left loose garbage in the can that was never picked up. Smell/flys got real bad by the end of the week. A strong dog urine odor in the kitchen/family room when we first walked in. (Owner offered to clean it, but we did a quick wash of the floor mats which helped) The towels, plastic cups, and plastic plates were not quite enough for our family of six. We made it work, but would recommend adding more of these. Neighbors smoked weed/partied until 3:00am (acknowledge that nothing owner can do about it)

Beautiful home, quiet neighborhood

The home was very clean and beautiful inside. The floor plan was open from the kitchen, to the dining room to the family room. And in the dining room was sliding glass doors that opened to an awesome pool. The master bedroom was big. And the rest of the bedrooms were all nice size. As for the resort itself It was a nice quiet neighborhood I really loved walking my dog around there. There was also like a nature trail where you could walk. As for the clubhouse it was nice, the pool was pretty big and there was a Tiki bar which I really liked. For me if you like to exercise and do some iron pumping it’s not much of a gym. So I just joined a local gym for my stay no big deal. Also at the resort was Miniature golf which was cool. But my main reason for staying there was how close you are to Disney. I’d say depending on traffic your there between 10-15 minutes. Also from Emerald island you are literally minutes from every kind of restaurant, Disney souvenir shop, bar, and there’s even a water park nearby. Bottom line awesome home and location.

Awesome House!

The house was amazing! I loved all the Disney decorations throughout the house. My kids loved the game room and the pool. There were 7 of us in our family and the house was big enough to fit us, and even a couple more. We had our own space and our own room, which beats being shoved all together in a hotel room. The house was near all the Disney Parks and a variety of places to eat. The property manager was also very responsive and made it very easy to check in and out of the property. If we ever visit Florida again, we would definitely stay here again! Thank you!

Orlando Family Vacation

Overall it was a good stay just wasnt too happy about beds they made noise and were uncomfortable. Also the air conditioning was very cold. Other than that great house especially when traveling with children. It has a playpen and high chair which makes it way easier and loved how pool had a fence. Property manager answers quickly to all messages

Wonderful home and Management

We really enjoyed this vacation home. We found everything was clean and well taken care of. Mike, the property manager, was thorough, responsive, and kind. The home had everything we could need for our family of two adults, two teen sons and my grandbaby -- including a pack n play crib and stroller. The pool was great and because we ordered pool heat is was warm and very enjoyable and fun. The close location to all the big parks a huge plus. The community of Emerald Island is lovely and well maintained. Any time I had questions prior to the trip I was able to ask and get a response from Mike very quickly. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you, Mike!

Unimpressed

Walking into the house it smelled clean but there was so much animal hair on the floors, sofas and beds that we had to wash all the sheets and bedspreads then vacuum the entire house and the sofas. The amount of hair nearly filled half a grocery bag. The garbage disposal wasn’t working but Mike did fix it while we were at Disney. The house needs the air ducts cleaned badly the ceiling vents were partially black. Also several lightbulbs need to be replaced. The quality and quantity of towels, linens and kitchenware was not impressive. The pool was nice and Mike did respond quickly.

Our stay was good. Very clean inside. The outside in grassy area could use some cleaning up. Pool testing strips all over ground and some caps to beer bottles. Otherwise very clean. Some lights were not working. Would definitely stay again Thanks

Nice Stay

Great stay, nice location to Disney (about 15 minutes) and Universal (about 30). Heated pool was warm enough for most days of our February trip. A couple light bulbs out, kitchen accoutrements kind of sparse, and a little difficulty figuring out the tvs, but the host was helpful and responsive. Would definitely stay again.

Great Home Super Close to Disney Great Host

This was the best home we’ve rented for our disney vacation. It is about 10 minutes from walt disney world and is right off 192 so it’s close to other eateries and shopping. Mike, the owner, is very attentive and just an absolutely wonderful host. He communicated with us via email to welcome us to the home and gave us his number to call or text if any issues should arise. Checked on us during our stay through email and let us know that if we wanted to stay an extra night we could as he didn’t have anyone scheduled that day. Before we left he wished us safe travels. the pictures of the home are great but the home is even more beautiful in person and is well cared for. It has everything you can ask for and more. We asked Mike to add pool heat since we were going in March and there would be some cold days and I highly recommend it as the pool is great to swim in day or night and has some foliage around the outside of the pool area to give you privacy from your neighbors on either side. There are no neighbors to the back of the house just a wooded area and some yard to walk your pet if you’re bringing one. Can’t say enough great things about this home and the host. We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip to disney!

How it all began…
Once upon a time in a faraway land, a young prince lived in a shining castle…Oh no, wait a minute, different story…

Our true story started with our kids who told us when we took them to Walt Disney World, “Daddy, this is the best day ever!”, and this is when we realized we have to buy a vacation home here so we can enjoy more moments like this with my family. Our Florida dream came true on May of 2017 when we went to Orlando for a week-long conference. We immediately fell in love with the city, weather, and all the exciting things we could do with our family here.

Call us crazy! We took a leap of faith and purchased our first vacation home in Florida within 2 months after we left Orlando...and it changed our lives forever.

We started our vacation rental business journey without any experience, but we knew if we kept our home clean, comfortable, fun, and unique, and made sure each guest got stellar guest service, people would book our home and continue to come year after year. Right after we purchased our first home, we began working on the design and remodel. Our goal is to give our guests, the "Best-Day-Ever" experience our kids told us when we first brought them to Disney. We made sure every room, corner, and wall had something special. We want our guests to book our home and feel excited about coming to a magical place. Our slogan is, “Don’t Let the Fun End at The Parks!”.
With this new home being a smashing success and, in such demand, we knew we had to purchase more homes so more families can enjoy. Fast forward today, we now have 5 homes near Disney to serve our guests.
