Dirty, Unsafe, No help from VACASA during stay
We were promised issues with this property, described in multiple negative reviews, had been addressed and that the property was clean, in good working order and matched the description on the platform. This was NOT the case so I hope to prevent any other family from being taken advantage of as this property should NOT be available for rent.Issues(1) Home is very dirty, inside and outside.*Kitchen cupboard shelves have a layer of greasy dirt.*Carpets are very dirty with lots of stains*Sills, blinds, furniture with cobwebs and dust*Windows *Outside area unkept, dirty siding(2) Hazardous Outdoor Deck*Rotten boards, splinters(3) Kitchen lacking basic items to serve 10 people (listed capacity)(4) Inside and outside of home, there's clutter and junk taking up space*No empty shelves for food -- closet shelves stuffed with old decor, random items that serve no purpose for a renter.*Had to empty and wipe clean a space for a few pots, pans and bowls we could use (took us several hours to clean kitchen so we could cook meals there)(5) Bunk Bed Room*Mattresses have a covering that is noisy when someone moves on the bed. (6) Broken, not working, needs attention*Many outlets aren't working, including none in the "master" bathroom*track lighting bulbs burned out*Refrigerator water filter needs changing*Master bathroom shade pieces fallen off*Outdoor irrigation system broken in 2 places, floods and runs with excess water each morning(7) Lack of a minimum amount of supplies for 10 person occupancy for a week*We purchased toilet paper, paper towels, facial tissue, bath soap, wash cloths and plastic cutlery(8) Safety concerns should be addressed immediately by property management. We had a wasp nest on deck the entire week.(9) Multiple attempts to use the "Vacasa" text number to resolve issues were unsuccessful. Lots of time spent trying to get assistance without success.
