You don't have to bring a dog to enjoy the K9 Cottage. The host is great. We were in town for a Gaelic Sporting Tournament in Malvern. The K9 Cottage was only a 10 minute drive to the venue.Thanks for a great stay.

Great 3 days in town while attending son’s college graduation. Everything was clean and the house had everything we needed. Also found the beds very comfy.

Thanks for a great weekend getaway with our pups. We really enjoyed this home and found it to have everything we needed to be comfortable.We have traveled with our dogs a couple of times and have found that pet friendly doesn't always mean the home is set up for comfortable travel with dogs but this home truly was. There were bowls inside and outside, a fully fenced yard for play time, sheets to cover the furniture which always makes me feel more comfortable letting my dogs get comfortable. The home was on a quiet residential street as well and had enough privacy that our dogs weren't anxious from noises all weekend.

We had a really nice stay! Kids loved the tree swing out back and our pup loved the enclosed backyard to run around and play in. The host was super responsive to any questions or needs we had. Would recommend.

A nice dog friendly place to stay in a quiet residential neighborhood close to Malvern, Paoli and West Chester. Comfortable beds and bedding. Great backyard for dogs to play. Easy check in and good communication.

Fabulous staycation!

We had a wonderful stay at the K9 cottage! The house was very homey, well-stocked, and the pups had a BLAST - the yard was perfect for them to wander without getting too far astray. The bed was outrageously comfortable. Bryan was a fabulous host and was very helpful, accommodating, and kind. Would definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful time here. We hosted two celebration of life gatherings and all who joined had a terrific time in this very comfortable cottage. The deck was the greatest extra room and we fully enjoyed being outthere when there was overflow in the living room. We stayed for ten nights and were pleased about each day and every one of the nights. The fenced in yard was a double bonus for Tucker and us!

Dogs welcome!

K9 Kottage was truly welcoming to my big dogs! Bowls, toys,and beds, and a great backyard, situated in a lovely location for just rambling the neighborhood. As for the humans with me, we enjoyed the comfortable and super clean rooms, well stocked with items for regular use.

Great location!

Great base location for all things Philadelphia. House was very clean, cozy and in a great neighborhood. We didn’t use the backyard, however it appears to be fenced. Owners were very responsive with all questions. Highly recommended!

We had an incredible time here. The house is truly meant for dog lovers; throw blankets everywhere, a dog bed inside and outside, extra toys, extra water bowls, a run in the backyard, a fenced in yard (although that did not stop the deer from coming to say hi lol), and everything you could need to have a relaxing vacation with your pups. There was even enough room to set up their kennels and we have two very large kennels (80 and 90 pound dogs respectively). This property felt like we were in a quiet little neighborhood and yet within 5 minutes, you were close to everything. Highly recommend the Tiramisu restaurant right down the street for a wonderful Italian dinner. The host was responsive and incredibly kind. We would absolutely stay there again. We initially were going to stay here and spend time in Philadelphia, but with the traffic, we decided to stay more local and wow, there is so much to do near Berwyn. The King of Prussia mall was great and we went to see Cirque Du Soleil at the Oaks. All within a 15 minute drive. Just a perfect spot for a getaway.

VRBO in Berwyn

Nice house -- kitchen appliances and dishware were high-end and served our needs well. Rooms met our needs -- beds were very comfortable. TV (streaming Roku) channels offered a lot of channels but not broadcast channels or standard CBS news. Location was a little far from our activities in Bryn Mawr but offered nearby shopping and restaurants.

Some technical issues, but with owner’s help they were fixed. The house is lovely, needs a few more pillows in the living room, but very comfortable. Great beds and feather!! pillows!! The outdoor area is great- lots of seating and a nice grill. Also very private and quiet. One thing all VRBOs need: a tea kettle! This the 3rd time I stayed at a VRBO property that did not have either a stove top or electric kettle. For die hard tea drinkers the microwave just doesn’t cut it. Thanks Bryan!

Decent place to stay with pets

This property was a good spot for a stay over the holidays. Communication with property owner was near impossible when we weren’t sent our check in information. Did not receive any reply during stay when I reached out for something either. The fence for the yard is pretty short so if you have large dogs be aware that they could be fully capable of jumping the fence.

Hi Corinne, My apologies that you had difficulty with communications. I just reviewed your account and see that we sent an email the day of your check-in so i am not sure what happened. I don't see any communication mid stay. I will reach out to the software folks and see why your reservation had difficulties. Again my apologies. In regards to the fence line,... the fence line is 3 feet tall with the exception of the one spot near the house which is 2.5 feet. As we say on the profile it is definitely up to the pet parent to decide as some 4 legged kids are much more motivated to go exploring the neighborhood. Maybe you missed the dog trolley line between the trees just off the deck. We provide that as extra security for those kids that are not content to explore the fenced 1/4 acre back yard. My husband and I enjoyed our experience at this property. We were able to bring our little papillon with us. Nice fenced in back yard for her. The beds were so very comfortable. The only suggestion I would have is: 1. Think about putting a tv in one of the bedrooms 2. Putting some window treatments or blinds at windows in living room The home has everything you would need to make meals. A very comfortable environment overall.

Location and privacy!

I cannot say enough about how wonderful this property is! As a frequent traveler with my dog, it is hard to find a comfortable, clean and convenient place for both of us and this place has it all and more! The open design is stunning and the private yard makes you feel like you’re surrounded by nature in the heart of one of the best centrally located places outside of Philly. It is truly a gem!
