Casa Redonda 'es un 7000 pies cuadrados. Impresionante casa, diseñada exclusivamente para la vida al aire libre y el entretenimiento con espectaculares vistas de 360 grados del océano pacífico, montañas, ríos y selvas tropicales. Ubicado en jardines tropicales y céspedes circundantes, Casa Redonda tiene tres hermosas habitaciones con baño, cada una con sus propias magníficas vistas. Una terraza envolvente proporciona los lugares perfectos para disfrutar del sol naciente o del atardecer y para disfrutar de la brisa fresca de la montaña. Disfrute de jugos frescos en el mini bar de la piscina o cócteles acogedores en el bar interior adyacente a la piscina. Para aquellos que se sienten un poco más enérgicos, pruebe una copa de vino bajo los cielos iluminados por las estrellas en el bar de la azotea, tres pisos arriba en escaleras de piedra en espiral.

Hermosa piedra arenisca cubre la planta baja, que es completamente abierta, con arcos cerrados de hierro forjado que se abren a los jardines tropicales, dando un ambiente al aire libre relajante y aireado. Una gran cocina azul celeste da a un comedor con capacidad para doce invitados, así como a una hermosa sala de estar con 30 pies. Techo abovedado y candelabros. Sofás relajantes rodean el piso y un bar húmedo da a la piscina infinita adyacente semicírculo, que también tiene su propio mini bar donde uno puede sumergirse, cenar o simplemente disfrutar de las magníficas vistas de la costa.

Completando el círculo en la planta baja hay una sala de cine con televisión por satélite, proyector 3-D de alta definición y reproductor de DVD, sonido envolvente y sofás reclinables de cuero. La sala de cine también cuenta con un baño completo y se puede convertir en una habitación adicional si es necesario.

1er piso: plano de planta abierto con una escalera de caracol de piedra central que alcanza los 3 pisos. Hermosos arcos de hierro negro se abren a los jardines y un acogedor bar húmedo en la esquina que conduce a la piscina. Una sala de cine con sofás reclinables también se puede convertir en un cuarto dormitorio en suite.

2do piso: gran dormitorio principal abierto en suite con jacuzzi y 2 dormitorios grandes adicionales en suite.

3er piso: área de techo con tumbonas y mucho espacio de entretenimiento.

4to piso: bar en la azotea bajo las estrellas.

The Redonda is a spectacular property. The grounds are gorgeous and the views magnificent in all directions and from all of the 4 floors! It is infamous in Nosara.Mike and I had been communicating for months about our holiday rental. He helped me find local resources for boating trips, ATV, and zip line tours. Both Mike and his neighbor Kerry were great resources for finding the best local restaurants. Kerry also found us a chef who cooked in, masseuses and yoga instructors who came to the house.The house is very spacious with high ceilings on the first floor. When you open up all of the doorways you are one with nature. We did encounter the local iguana checking us out and the cowatie who comes to visit. We heard the howler monkeys but never saw one sadly.Mike was a highlight and we enjoyed learning about his fabulous world travels. Another highlight was taking a dolphin and whale watching cruise. We delighted in seeing over 30 dolphins playing around our boat and then following a mother and baby humpback whale for an hour.Mike suggested we rent a 4 wheel drive car and we are glad we did. Nosara has many unpaved roads.

Jungle Paradise

If you are looking for the most beautiful property in Nosara, look no further. The house is very spacious, well appointed and has the most beautiful views of the ocean and jungle. The owners Mike and Lena are the loveliest of people and go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. I cannot wait to go back!

Casa Redonda exemplifies «  Pura Vida » in Vosta Rica

The owners Mike and Lena were incredibly welcoming, the property manager Kerry was very kind and resourceful. She even shared her fresh fish supplier. The maid Gaby keeps the house impeccable and did some laundry for us. We felt we were in a 5 stars accommodation as the house is not only beautiful but the surroundings are breathtaking from sunrise to sunset(: The master bedroom has the most beautiful view and a private terrace where we could have stayed all day. Heavenly stay with a roof terrace to star gaze all night! The location Finca Doña Cielo allows you to get away from the dust and the crowd and enjoy the jungle while still enjoying a magnificent view of the sea. One of our best family vacation «  Pura Vida » Closest beach is 15 mins.

5-Star housem in great location

Thoroughly enjoyed this house and the location. There was 7 of us and we all were very comfortable. The house is very open and spacious with windows EVERYWHERE to take in the views to the outside. The grounds are very well maintained and the views to the ocean are unparalleled. Working with the owner has been extremely easy and Rick Wilkens with the management company was superb in providing the services we not only needed but also what we requested. Everything from a quick tour of the town of Nosara, setting us up with a fabulous cook (wonderful food!), but also getting us set up with various activities in the area. Ziplining, ATV tours, Monkey Sanctuary, etc.. They even stocked the refrigerator at our request. Truly a fabulous place to stay. Highly recommend!

EVERYTHING WE HOPED FOR AND MORE, INCREDIBLE HOUSE, GREAT TOWN, FABULOUS LOCATION!!

My husband and I stayed with friends at Casa Redonda earlier this month and experienced the best Costa Rica has to offer. The Villa provided fantasy views of the ocean and mountainside whether we were cooling down in the pool, lounging on our private open-air veranda (off our second-floor bedroom suite), or toasting to the sunset on the roof-top bar. The owners keep the place in pristine condition and have included details that many fine hotels forget (i.e. our beds had both firm AND feather pillows). The media room had theater style lazy boy chairs and a projector for a truly wide screen experience, but I must admit, we never went in there...there was too much else to enjoy! All in all, we felt very well cared for... I particularly liked the open air concept and felt this mansion was an extension of the natural landscape. I saw my first up-close praying mantis on a window pane and loved watching hummingbirds, spying iguanas and looking for the howler monkeys which were easy to hear but a trick to see. The main living room chandelier even boasted a nest made by native birds for their chicks. Amazing!! The Nosara Peninsula has some of the freshest, healthy food available in the local markets and our State of the Art kitchen made it fun to create tasty new fare on the nights we all wanted to stay home. We appreciated our early morning walks on the mountain roads and would drive in daily for beach walks, surf lessons and an ocean-side lunch. The food culture in this town is not to be believed. The La Luna Restaurant was one among many and most likely our favorite. The food was great and we were just 50 feet from breaking waves... and while it took a solid 10 minutes to get to town on proper roads, my husband loved taking the short cut - fording a riverbed at the base of our hill - what an adventure! One evening we took a five minute walk to our closest neighbor's house which actually hosts the Black Sheep Pub. This authentic British Pub is the brainchild of the owner, Joe, who welcomed us and served us up pints of his finest IPAs. What a fun, memorable, night! All in all, we absolutely loved the Casa Redonda and hope to return next year to this special slice of heaven.

IF I COULD GIVE THIS PROPERTY 7 STARS, I WOULD!

Casa Redonda is a magical place! Everything about this tropical palace-in-the-jungle is perfect. The house itself is gorgeously designed, luxurious, and elegant. Watching the sunrise from the mountain top, listening to the birds and the howler monkeys in the jungle below, is unforgettable. Then the sunsets!; complete with cocktails at the outdoor bar or while lounging on the daybeds surrounding the beautiful infinity pool. The location of this beautiful villa, on the hilltop with the sea in one direction, and the rainforest all around, will leave you breathless. We visited different beaches nearby for beachcombing and bird-watching, went to a local food festival, and dined at a spectacular treetop restaurant nearby. But even the days when we didn't leave the villa at all were just as perfect. The kitchen is well equipped, the bedrooms are supremely comfortable, the bathrooms are modern and elegant, and windows, windows everywhere to fling open to feel like you are deep in the rainforest. Everything we needed for sublime comfort and relaxation was available. If you think the photos of this property are spectacular, wait until you see and experience Casa Redonda itself. This will be a holiday you will never forget.

Best accommodation in Costa Rica

Having just experienced this remarkable slice of tropical heaven, I can say that the pictures are one thing but the experience is even better! A totally unforgettable place set amidst beautiful, animal-filled forest, with an unparalleled panoramic view over the land and sea. If there was ever a tropical palace that could fulfill your greatest holiday dreams it is this property. Spend your days relaxing by the pool, or reading on one of the comfy daybeds, or sipping cocktails from the rooftop bar as surrounding Howler Monkey troops vociferously proclaim their territories. All the windows and doors are designed to open, letting in the sunshine and fresh air as well as the many exotic sounds of the forest. And, incredibly, hardly a biting insect to be seen at all which meant we slept soundly with the bedrooms wide open every night. The dawn greeting of exceptional views and joyous bird calls is the best possible way to begin each day. Amazing!!!! When we eventually tore ourselves away from the house, we enjoyed long walks on the nearby beaches, gorgeous and empty, surfed famous breaks, snorkelled around the rocks, socialized with friendly locals, and went looking for nesting turtles (seasonal), only to be thrilled to return to our own piece of luxurious paradise on top of the hill. Don't think twice about choosing this destination... It will be one of the most unforgettably relaxing, indulgent holidays of your life!

Absolutely Splendid

Our two families (8 people) just returned from 10 wonderful days at this gorgeous villa. The house is stunning: wide open so that you feel like you are in the midst of the jungle (and you are), but beautifully furnished and filled with every amenity you might need (full kitchen, bar, laundry facilities, local cell phone, etc.). Its location was ideal for enjoying both the rain forest and the beaches, which are just a short drive down the hill. Rick and Alison, who manage the property, were tremendously helpful and attentive. The arrangements that they made on our behalf for airport transportation, rental car, and excursions (zip lining, snorkeling, deep sea fishing, hiking) made the trip easy and smooth. Staying at Casa Redonda was a splendid and memorable experience!

Out of this World !

I don't normally post reviews but this time I have to. I returned yesterday from spending 10days at this magnificent villa. At first if you haven't experienced a " jungle experience", this can be overwhelming. My S/O wasn't quite ready for the jungle at first, but by the next day, she realized the paradise that we were in. Be prepared to wake up very early each day by the sun rising at 5.30 accompanied by the morning roars of the howler monkeys, something you'll never forget and it gets your day started early, make some coffee and sit out by the pool and take it the astonishing view. The drive up to the villa could be daunting if you aren't a comfortable driver, but it gets easier each time you do it. My first drive up to the villa, I couldn't imagine where I was going until I pulled into the driveway and the first impression of the villa blew me away. We were a family of four ( kids are 12 & 7) and we felt 100% safe. Rick is incredible, everything was ready as requested and his many restaurant recommendations were spot on. great location, amazing home and wonderful manager

our stay at casa redonda was wonderful. nosara is one of our favorite places in costa rica, and this house lets you enjoy being near the town/beaches while feeling like you are out in the middle of the mountains. the house has a unique design - we called it the inside out house. the distinction between the inside and the outside is somewhat blurred; on the first floor, even when you close the doors, there is not glass completely enclosing the house. there was a bird's nest in the chandelier downstairs, a pair of large grasshoppers who came to visit, and many insects, especially if you turn on lights at night. i was somewhat hesitant at first, but none of the insects were biting insects or roaches, and by the second day, i was hooked. the views are views are incredible, and at night, there are no lights around and too many stars to count. one night, we all slept on the third floor, under the stars. we watched some shooting stars and cuddled under the blankets. it was a memory we cherish. rick, the manager was very nice, always available and helpful - for example, there was an issue with the washing machine that was going to take some time to address, so without us asking, they bought a new washer. my husband and i traveled with our three children, 8, 7 and 3, and our children attended the SPLASH program at Del Mar Academy. we were on the top of the mountain but close enough to town that school was 15 minutes, and the beach another 5. rick let us share his cook, clara, who made us delectable vegetarian meals.

Perched high above an exquisite deep blue costa rican bay, this sumptuous, unique, fantasy property, newly built, offers the height of luxuriant elegance for the discerning vacationer.....spacious, open to and at one with the surrounding beauteous hillsides, it affords ultimate peace and relaxation, suitable for adults and children, while being at the same time but a few minutes from superb beaches, world-class surfing, and the charming town of nosara. the worldly sophistication of the genial owners, mike and lena, shines through in the all aspects of the property, from the breath-taking aesthetic of the overall design through to the smallest details of an inviting, personable, comfortable, eminently practical decor.

Ultimate comfort in a spacious, modern, impecably clean home with ocean view

We were never so comfortable in a vacation home. The home is situated at an elevation that allows comfortable temperatures all day and night without air conditioning or heating so the huge windows overlooking the pacific ocean can (and should) be left open at all times to enjoy the freshest of ocean breezes and most unobstructed ocean views in the world. The hostess is very attentive and makes certain that every corner of the house remains perfectly clean at all times while adding to the conversation with the latest trends in healthy eating and interesting places to visit close by. The house, hostess and grounds were far above average in every respect. Fresh tropical fruits were always available and local ocean fish is plentiful and in the pan the day it is caught (before freezing). No wonder the local population boasts a higher percentage of centenarians than almost anywhere else in the world. And the surf is perfect for beginners like myself and experts alike. Surfing instruction is readily available. There are also plenty of excellent local restaurants with good evening entertainment. This is an incredible place for an active or sedentary vacation.

Totally Unique and Amazing!!

Our 10 day stay at this house was nothing short of magical, we went into it somewhat unknown as the home is new and just listed so we didn't know what to expect as there wasn't any feedback. We were not to be disappointed!, having visited Nosara for several years, this one really exceeded all of our expecations. The location is on the top of a mountain overlooking the valley, river and Ocean, it is the most awesome view, and we just couldn't pull ourselves out of the pool it was so beautiful. The house itself is totally unique, it is all rounds and full of arches and incredible details, we just spent hours walking around it and marvelling at all the wonderful detail. I could probably write a book about this place, it really defies explanation!!..oh, on the top of the house is a bar, you can see 360 degree view of forest, river valley and ocean. The rooms are spectacular, all modern conveniences, huge window open up onto the views. On top of it all the owners were so lovely!...they were so accomodating and made everything so perfect, this was the trip of a lifetime, we are so happy would took that risk of the unknown and picked this house, our biggest concern now is that it will not be booked for our next trip, we will definately return here, we haven't stopped talking about the place since we left.
