Everything about this property was great from the check in to the checkout. When we hear something happened in Southport and the owner even messaged me and checked in on us to make sure we were ok. Southport is an overly lovely place great small shops, good food and music in several different areas. Description of room and pictures of everything was on point. Towels smelt like heaven and beds were comfy.

Getaway

We really enjoyed our Getaway. The location had alot to offer. Fishing off the pier, pool, nice deck to lounge on, close to town so we rented a golf cart to enjoy Crusin the town of Southport. Room was very accommodating. Will stay again.

Comfy and cute

Comfortable and cute place! Comfy beds and kitchen stocked. Liked cleanliness of entire building and grounds. Pool convenient and we liked the seating area nearby. Small sandy beach and dock right off pool. Fun trip and great communication from owner!

Best vacation!

The Mabe family really enjoyed The River Front! Room was clean and cozy. The pool was awesome and the private beach was perfect! We made use of the pier daily for fishing…from sharks, Crocker, toad fish, flounder and sting rays were caught daily! Room was stocked with all that we needed and a very short drive to be able to park and walk beautiful Southport.

Perfect getaway!

Great place to stay for a couple. We enjoyed coffee on the balcony each morning. None of the balconies face the water but you can position your chairs to face it. The room was very clean. Stephanie provided all the necessities we needed for our stay. This was so nice since we were flying and couldn’t bring a lot of stuff. Some other hosts make you bring or buy everything which is such a hassle and not very welcoming. Stephanie provides all the little touches that make you want to go back. There is a small private beach and nice pool. We were there off season so the pool was closed and it was too cold anyway. There is ample parking and a huge beautiful shared deck with chairs if you want to eat or grill out. I can’t say enough about our host. Stephanie was extremely responsive and informative. The doors on the armoire are hard to open. I pulled on both doors at the same time, the armoire rocked and a picture frame fell on the floor and broke. I replaced the frame immediately and told Stephanie. She was so gracious about it. We had a very nice vacation and enjoyed the downtown and waterfront. Thank you Stephanie! Perfect stay in Southport

We truly enjoyed the condo. It has everything you look for in a stress free visit to Southport - cleanliness, location to downtown, well stocked kitchen, side view to pool and ocean and comfortable bed. We hope to come back when it is warmer and take advantage of pool and private beach. You will be very happy in unit 108. Thank you.

Couple Getaway

My husband and I went to Southport for a couples weekend and the location was perfect. We rented a golf cart and had a blast. Stephanie was available when a small issue came up and everything was resolved within minutes. The location is on the first floor of a three story building and the view is the parking lot. However, walk out the door and see the water.

Good for a weekend getaway

Stayed for a girls trip. Place was clean and as described. It was nice to be able to put the chairs on the small balcony to watch the water. I would recommend a more compact set so it isn’t so tight but that is not a big deal. We appreciated having the private beach and pool access, with pool chairs and towels provided! It was thoughtful to have beach towels and water in fridge for us. An alligator was indeed spotted in the water and came on the beach a few piers down so we stayed in the pool. They do visit that area so just be aware of surroundings. Only issue was a strong smell. We alerted the property owner and she was very responsive. Hopefully the A/C was serviced and smell addressed. Would recommend for individual or small groups. It is cozy, but comfortable.

I'm a NC native. I grew up in a small town just west of Charlotte where my parents still live. I am a proud alumna of the Univ. of Tennessee and I love my Vols, and I currently split my time between Greensboro and Southport!

There's nothing else quite like it in Southport! The whole property is new a new concept for Southport (started in 2019 and the 3rd and final building was completed in the Fall of 2024). Located right on the Cape Fear River with a waterfront swimming pool--something no other property in Southport has to offer! It's in walking distance, biking distance, or golf cart riding distance --whichever you prefer--to downtown Southport and all the great shops and restaurants. The property boasts great sunrise views to the east and sunset views to the west! Where else can you get both in the same location?? EsCape to Cape, THAT's where!
