Friends and family will love staying at Tranquility Base in the Sea Ranch

Unit 7 Block 5 Lot 13. Family and friends will love staying at Tranquility Base in the Sea Ranch. This spacious vacation home is built with a reverse floor plan - common living space upstairs and bedrooms downstairs all with deck access to hot tub. Beautiful ocean views are visible throughout the house. There is a bluff trail directly accessible from the back yard and additional beaches are just down the highway. Tranquility Base has 3 bedrooms (1 king, 2 queen) each with its own private bathroom with an extra half bath upstairs making it ideal for up to 6 guests.

The upstairs living room is arranged with plenty of seating options with couch, love seats and ample window seats. A gas fireplace is available perfect for setting a cozy atmosphere at night. There are 75" TVs both upstairs and in the main bedroom, with a Blu-Ray DVD player and WIFI access. The kitchen is equipped with a 5-burner gas stove and double oven. Dining areas both inside and out have seating for six.

A propane BBQ grill is also available, and the home is equipped with whole house battery backup as additional protection in the case of power outages.

Bed linen and towels not included with this rental. Bring your own or you can rent through Beach Rentals.

Garage is not available to renters.
One small dog is welcome! (25 pounds or less)

SEA RANCH AND SONOMA COUNTY GUIDELINES
Drones are strictly prohibited in The Sea Ranch.
Quiet hours must be observed between 9pm and 7am every day.
No outdoor amplified sound is allowed at any time day or night.
Dogs must be leashed and cannot be left unattended.
Maximum number of vehicles at house shall be 3 (three), parked in driveway. No RV's
Maximum occupancy is 6 for this home.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful, relaxing time at Tranquility Base at the SeaRanch. It is a spacious home that welcomes pets. This house is clean and updated, with lots of kitchen utensils, pots and pans and serving dishes. It has three comfortable bedrooms, multiple bathrooms (upstairs and down) and a great kitchen that is the center of the house. We three couples hiked every day, communed with nature (some of us saw whales from the living room and deck), and prepared mouth watering meals as part of a special getaway.

Beautiful home with great views. Very good for a family, nice and quiet with plenty of room. Only small dog friendly so we couldn’t bring our dog when the listing said pet friendly but was totally okay and understand why since the house is very nice.

Wonderful Three Night Stay at Tranquility Base

The view from the second floor living - kitchen - dining area was beautiful and the house was a very short walk to the bluff. We loved the wildlife, flowers and tide pools and enjoyed the Olson recreation center for swimming and tennis. The kitchen was great with incredible equipment. One small tip: bring your own ALfoil and saran wrap

We love the lower level bedrooms because they all have great outdoor light, separate baths and decks. The upper level has so many window seats that there is no arguing and the view is nice. The kitchen is well stocked and there is plenty of seating. The owners green thumb is apparent in the lovely potted plants. The artwork is fun and varied. Love everything!

2024 Hloliday Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Hey Folks,The house was great overall. The space was perfect for us and we are hoping we can book it again next year. I want to bring a few things to your attention. 1. The double ovens need to be looked at by a technician. The temperature readings on both ovens thermometers are considerably (50-100F) different from the reading on the thermometers in the oven. We also experienced several times where one of the ovens showed an "err" (error) message. We resolved it by turning the oven off and then back on. The ovens are also dirty and could benefit from a good cleaning. 3. The variety of kitchenware is great and we appreciate having access to it. However, a lot of items were dirty when we went to use them and needed to be (re)washed. 4. There were extra blankets and those were great but some smelled and had brown stains and had to be washed. Here are a few additional items that weren't a problem, but wanted to make you aware of: 5. One of the bedroom [room next to kids room] carpets had a few large discoloration stains when we arrived. 6. Deck door from the "kids" room (the one with the queen bed, on the left) does not lock.7. Skylight in upstairs office is broken and has wet napkin in place to keep it open.

A wonderful time at Sea Ranch

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was all in order when we arrived. We did have 2 issues with appliances. The ice maker was not working. There were ice trays in the freezer, so we thought maybe it was permanently disabled. We removed the ice container an found the inside to be frozen with solid ice. We defrosted in the sink and reinstalled it with no further problems. The bottom oven, on the otherhand, was not working properly. The oven does not operate according to the setting. I put on bread proof to raise some dough, and the temp rose to 350 F, thus ruining the dough.Other than those 2 issues, we had a great time with family and friends coming and going during our extended visit.

The home was perfect for 3 couples, each room had its own bathroom and access to the deck. It was a short walk to the coast and from there a walk in either direction yielded gorgeous views. We loved sitting on the patio with our breakfast each morning and looking at the changing scenery (complete with deer!). The home is beautiful and well-maintained, with every convenience imaginable. We had some lovely dinners, even took advantage of the provided fondue pot. The kitchen easily surpassed all of our previous rental homes. Would definitely return!!!
