Bienvenido: aceptamos estancias de una noche, excepto durante la semana de Navidad. La suite 'A' en nuestra casa de huéspedes TOTALMENTE SEPARADA de dos dormitorios es suya cuando reserva este listado; la otra suite estará cerrada y vacante. (Si necesita las dos habitaciones, tenemos una lista separada para eso). La propiedad cuenta con unas extraordinarias vistas exteriores (no desde el interior) y una playa semiprivada con escaleras que bajan al océano. También obtendrá una sala de estar y cocina, un baño privado con ducha, además de un área de lavandería grande (agradable) y un desayuno continental. ¡Por favor, quédate con nosotros! :)

Patrick was a wonderful host. So enjoyed the deck with cusions and blankets. The private beach was worth the steps to get to it. The location was great.

This is hands down my favorite property and host to stay with in Brookings! Patrick and Barbara have thought of everything and go above and beyond their duties. They're an absolute pleasure to be around, and the location is unbeatable.

I can't think of anything. It was obvious they took cleaning to the next level. I think this is the first place I have ever stayed in that I didn't feel like I had to do some cleaning of my own. I would definitely stay in this property again.

It was so relaxing. The grounds and views were gorgous.The hosts were so friendly and helpful. We had dinner outside on one of the viewing decks at sunset.Truely enjoyed every part of this trip. Highly recommended.

Host was just too much & listing was not accurate, otherwise it was beautiful. No taking stairs to beach from property. House sits back. Area overlooking beach doesn't feel private because you're constantly watched. Gate was annoying because you had to get in and out each time. The owner flaunted us with unnecessary attention upon checking in and out.

Gorgeous views from patio. The studio is small but expertly laid out so you have everything you need. There is a great deal of attention paid to what a traveler might require. Comfortable bed. Very quiet. A rare find.

I can’t begin to say how much I would recommend this place. The pictures you get are a small glimpse into how beautiful the stay is. The host was INCREDIBLY accommodating and kind, and made my wedding day/ night incredibly memorable. I will never forget this place. I would leave some photos but I wouldn’t wanna ruin the surprise! The beach access, the views, the cleanliness, the privacy, the hospitality, it’s amazing. The accuracy of the listing is 100% and better.

Perfect location for visiting the redwoods and Samuel Boardman (plus other great OR beaches). The views from the patios are absolutely amazing. We enjoyed sipping coffee on the porch in the morning and watching the sunset in the afternoon. The suite was as described on line. The owners have thought of everything! During our stay we enjoyed visiting Jedediah state park, jet boating on the Rogue river, horseback riding in the redwoods, many gorgeous hikes at Samuel Boardman corridor and finding creatures in the tide pools. This suite is shown as a two bedroom, but the second bedroom is really just a daybed in the very small living room. I do not suggest this suite for three adults or two adults and a teenager. Also, the stairs going to the beach pictured on VRBO are only a small fraction or the actual steps. We did not have a problem going up and down the stairs but note that there are over 180 steps. Also, you should ask for the waiver to use the stairs before you arrive if you’d like to explore the beach when you arrive.

Clean and Beautiful Garden

The stay was pleasant enough. The Garden was awesome. We only stayed there overnight so not a whole lot to write, but the Owner has made an extra effort to make sure everything is provided for. One little advise is to confirm the location of the "Suite" as there are multiple suites within the property.

Thanks for having us. The cottage was in a nice location and within short walking distance to the views in the photos. I wish we could have taken the stairs down to the beach. It was nice having shampoo/conditioner in the unit. There was a small amount of noise from the room next door, but nothing serious. We were within easy driving distance to town and the harbor. Overall it was a nice stay.

Amazing property with so many flowers and the view was spectacular! Patrick and Barbara were great hosts, friendly but also left us to our privacy. The accommodations fit us just right and we felt safe and comfortable.

What a fantastic piece of property. The views are stunning just as advertised. Patrick and Barbara were great hosts and stock the room with everything you might need. I would definitely stay here again next time we visit Brookings.

Amazing Vibes!

If you are staying in Brookings, this is the place to stay. There is not a better view in town. The deck overlooking the beach was fantastic. Patrick and Barbara were amazing hosts, and were very generous with their time in making sure I had everything I needed. Highly recommend!

Lovely views

I didn’t realize from the listing that there were several units and that it was attached to another unit separated only by a door but it did not end up being an issue. Hosts were lovely, parking was easy, great location, beautiful views. The unit was stocked with lots of thoughtful amenities. Definitely superior to a hotel!

Excellent location.

We really enjoyed our stay. Patrick was a delight and the hosts have thought of every possible detail. The room was very cozy. We did not get a chance to enjoy the ocean views, sit on the deck or enjoy the amazing library. I recommend strongly if you stay there to take the time to enjoy these amazing amenities offered! Would definitely brook again

Mom & daughters trip

Drive through the beautiful gated entrance and the first thing you see is the fountain in the middle of the circle drive. Then the smaller home to the right - where we stayed - then straight ahead the private residence which sits on the cliff overlooking the Pacific ocean. We had access to their deck & stairway down to the beach whenever we wanted and a beautiful little private deck area to view the ocean too ! Our suite was perfect! Walk into livingroom area with sofa & chair and daybed with table & chairs to the side. Kitchen area ahead of that and the very nice bathroom. Our bedroom was to the left of the front door with a comfy queen bed, big closet, dresser, and couch. My girls & I loved staying here ! Patrick our host gave us a tour of everything when we first arrived and was super friendly but also gave us our space. I would definitely stay here again & recommend this place to everyone!

Felt Like I Was In France

As we pulled into the magnificent ocean palace, we were greeted by a Frenchman riding his velo/bicycle. He greeted us pleasantly in his broken-English and provided us with a tour of our rooms. Well, truth be told, it was Patrick, one of the owners, goofing with us. He broke character to show us around our accommodations perched on the ocean's edge with a paradise view. There are many different accommodation options offered, from individual travelers to large groups. Our room had a stunning ocean view from the bed and a full-sized kitchen, all tastefully decorated, offering every convenience known to man, foreign or not. There is a library/study room that makes you want to sit down and relax, read a book, and/or just get lost in the view. We only stayed one night due to travel plans, but oui oui, we will be back.

Absolutely Amazing

This was one of the best vacations I've had. My BFF and I are caregivers and needed a quiet get away. This was the perfect choice. Everything was wonderful from the setting to the pour over coffee and even toilet paper was special.. the hosts Patrick and Barbara are amazing. I'm so glad we stayed there instead of a motel!!! I truly encourage you to stay here!!

Magical Oceanside sunset

Surpassed our expectations! Magical back deck for sunsets complete with blankets and coffee or cocoa. Ocean view rivals those we’ve seen on coastal highway vistas. Hosts thought of endless list of special touches in the suite. Enjoyed humor of host that made us feel welcome. Highly recommend!

Guests are always welcome to enjoy the AMAZING PANORAMIC OCEAN VIEWS from the side decks which directly front the ocean. Please check out the pictures. They will give you an idea, but they pale in comparison to seeing those views in person! :)
