We only stayed one night to see the Brookings Light Festival but the stay was a warm place to stay, satellite tv, and coffee in the morning. The private trail to the beach was great.

This was such a great experience. The hosts live in the property in front of the cottage (which is attached to the garage). It has a private yard space and a view of the ocean from the living room. The decor is a little dated, but it is well maintained, super clean and very comfortable. Access to the beach is via a path past the main house, but easy to do. It is a little steep, which wasn’t an issue for me, but might be for others. The beach was beautiful with many of the rock features that this area is renowned for. It’s super convenient for exploring this area. All in all I had a very comfortable stay, and would definitely come back again. Excellent value for the price.

We loved our stay in Brookings! We found our place to have everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and the walk to the beach was short and easy. During low tide we were able to see the tidepools.The town of Brookings was great. There were many places to eat and the Chetco Brewery had many tasty beers. The beach options and hiking trails were numerous and we never lacked for things to do or places to go.

It was private just had a little bit of a problem cooking needed a baking dish for my scalloped potatoes couldn't find one and needed a rack for pan to steam my artichoke couldn't find one and spices could be a little better no garlic very nice people enjoyed our stay would go again don't forget your coffee wasn't sure if it was drip or K-Cup and they have both which is nice

Great place to stay ,well appointed and right by a beautiful beach.It was great we could include our dogs. View of the ocean from this cottage and a short 1 or 2 minute walk to the ocean.

Everything was perfect!! This is a very comfortable, accommodating home to stay in with dogs. They enjoyed themselves as much as we did!! The property is lovely and very quiet. We will definitely be back for more rest and relaxation.

Extremely clean, comfortable, all as advertised. Great location for exploring the southern Oregon Coast and Northern California redwoods! Bed was very comfortable, bedding, sheets, pillows, towels, etc. all very high quality. Very quiet - except for the lovely ocean waves when we opened the sliding door and sat in the hot tub. We will be back!

It was like staying at my own place on the beach. So comfy, cozy and all around friendly place. Loved the short walk to the beach. Relaxed in the clean hot tub. Took advantage of the close proximity of the surrounding sights & shopping. Our host, Ken, is one of the beast! Thank you, Ken! Loved our stay & can't stop talking about our beach weekend!

Excellent communication

Unfortunately we had an emergency come up and could not stay. He made sure we were reimbursed and welcomed us in the future. Having lived in Brookings I know the street the home is on and cannot wait to stay and be near the ocean and our favorite dog park!!

Excellent place for a peaceful getaway!

My family stayed for 2 nights and had a lovely time. Hot tub is an excellent way to relax after getting worn out playing on the beach with kids. Definitely recommend for small groups.

Everything we needed in a stunning locale!

Ken and Jean are fabulous hosts and the small home was perfect for us. The king size bed was better than what we have at home - maybe the most comfortable we've ever slept in! There's an attached garage with washer and dryer, a hot tub, an incredible DVD collection, and STUNNING ocean views. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful to work with. Very accommodating. The property is right above a magnificent beach. The sand is larger and there are spectacular small rocks.. Of all colors!! Simply the most gorgeous little beach I've ever seen. Was heartbroken when we had to leave 5 hours after getting there because of a family emergency.

Was a perfect place to stay for our getaway

We enjoyed our stay. Ken was always available to answer questions and was very friendly. This was the best experience we have had to date and highly recommend it. The bed was the most comfortable we have slept in. Birds were always singing around our little patio and the hot tub was the perfect way to unwind before bed. Highly recommended

Wonderful experience!

Not super fancy, but clean, comfortable, quiet and cozy. Perfect for us two senior citizens and our dog. Third time we've stayed here in as many visits to .the coast and we love it. We really appreciate the short walk to the beach. Ken is a very nice gentleman to deal with and we're happy to give our business to a veteran
