This was such a great house for our family for Thanksgiving, plenty of space and lots of stuff to do. Beautiful area as well, we’d love to come back when there isn’t a foot of snow on the ground to better explore the area!

It was absolutely beautiful! Everything was perfect, exactly what was described. And the backyard looks even better in person than in the photos. Very relaxing property with a ton of space to fit 15 people and more! 10/10, we will be back!

Great house for our extended family. Spacious, clean, bright, well stocked (kitchen, towels, etc.). Swimming by the pier was a big hit with our little ones. Huge, beautiful lawn with shade trees, lovely fire pit and hot tub, Lovely quiet neighborhood. Plenty of parking. Kris was excellent to work with - very responsive and helpful. Definitely plan to stay here again.

The owner was excellent. Met us at the door and walked us through the house & explained all the ins and outs. The house was pristine. Wonderful back yard overlooking the river with a fire pit surrounded by aderondak chairs.

Wonderful home.

This home was spacious, well stocked, and had nicely manicured grounds. River view and sunsets were lovely. Our family had a fun Labor Day weekend experience!

Family Love

We can't say enough about the quality of this stay in every aspect from booking to check-in to check-out, and everything in between. This place was one of the nicest places that I have stayed in. All contact persons went above and beyond to make our stay one of the greatest.

Exceeded expectations

The view alone made the home a great place to stay. Add six+ bedrooms and there was plenty of room for everyone. The fire pit is huge with chairs all around. It was a perfect retreat. We will return.

80th Birthday

The house was excellent. were there for 4 days, very clean, lots of space, everyone had there own room, the host was at the house when we go there and showed us around, everything worked, no problems, fishing was good, close to stores, enjoyed the fire pit, Our host Kristin took very good care of us, answered any questions we had. Would highly recommend this house.

Beautiful home with so much to do!

Home is well furnished, like it’s your own lake house. Owners are great with communication and friendliness-willing to answer any questions. The home even seemed larger than the picture portrayed! We had a family reunion with 3 generations and the home was perfect sized. Loved the sunroom off the kitchen for eating and cards. Lake is beautiful and watching boats drive by was such a relaxing experience from daily life.

Wonderful Property and Owners!

This is a beautiful property on the Fox river. Lovely views from the living room, bedrooms and deck. Cozy enclosed porch. Couldn’t ask for anything more. Our family had such a good time staying in this large and relaxing home. Comfortable space, all the amenities you could want. Property managers are super responsive and a joy to work with. Highly recommend this property!

Great retreat!

We loved our time at Fox Lake! Kris and Christie were very communicative and accommodating. They greeted us when we arrived and answered any questions we had throughout the weekend. The backyard has plenty of space for games and people to hangout on the layout chairs or the fire pit. The kitchen was stocked with just about any tool and spice you might need.

Great Property and Manager

We booked a weekend here to have a 40th birthday celebration for a group of longtime friends and it was absolutely perfect for it. There were plenty of beds for our group of 11 adults to be comfortable. The backyard is where this place really shines! It's right on the water with a nice gravel bottom ideal for swimming. The large firepit, deck, and hot tub were all great social spots. We had perfect weather, but if it rained the plan was to move to the basement with the bar and pool table. Also of note, the place is a 5 minute drive to Woodman's for supplies and several bars/restaurants. The owner provided their phone number and was extremely welcoming and responsive to any questions. We definitely hope to stay again!

Fantastic property

16 women who have been working together for 20 years spent the weekend at this house to celebrate a recent retirement. This property is spectacular. It is set right on the River and is very large. We cooked in both nights and the kitchen was great the way the beds and bathrooms are set up works perfectly for a big group. The beds are all brand new and extremely comfortable. We utilized the hot tub, the fire pit, the downstairs bar room with pool table and the large TV room for college football viewing. We had a few questions and Kristin got back to us immediately. She is a great host. My entire group absolutely loved this house. Thank you so much Kristin

Fantastic!!

We booked this property for my sons graduation from Navy bootcamp. Our whole family was able to stay, and my son spent the weekend with us. We had plenty of space for everyone to have their own beds. The hot tub was amazing!! The river was a little cold, but that did not stop the kids. Place was clean and had a bunch of supply’s already like plates and forks, and we contributed to it as well. Hooghly recommend if you want a nice place for a Navy graduation. Close to nearby shopping, very safe neighborhood and very quiet! I give it 11/10! For anyone with mobility issues, main floor was completely wheelchair accessible. There are 5/6 steps to get into the house, but once on main floor I had absolutely no accessibility issues.

Bright, extremely clean house, and kind owners

We were a big 4-generation group and of course forgot a few things (and broke a few things). The owners could not have been nicer about it!! I really appreciated their communication. I don’t ever leave reviews, anywhere, but just had to say thanks again for sending us what we forgot! Very clean, bright, large space. So many extra beds. We probably should have brought sleep masks—the light was beautiful but was it ever bright in the morning on the upper floors. Fully stocked kitchen, with many nice touches. We ended up using it a lot as a result! Thank you for making home-cooking so easy. A nice stock of board games and children’s books. This house is great for hide and seek, too! Overall, an easy place to hang out in all day for the whole family.

An Amazing Getaway!

We were a group of 11 - six adults and five children. We had an incredible time at Pineapple Ridge. The children, young and old, loved the home for its myriad of sleeping options, places to explore, and, delightful Hide & Seek options! Everyone had space when they needed it and togetherness when they wanted it. The adults spent time in fellowship as well as individually. There were so many decks, porches, and comfortable rooms to relax in and just be alone - or - enjoying intimate conversations. Taking in the views never got old. Pineapple Ridge's quiet and private lot on the Fox River is picturesque and the water sparkled constantly. The fire pit was astounding and we broke our family's record for most s'mores consumed. The set-up and comfy chairs made for magical evenings. We felt like we were away from it all - but - could enjoy the comforts of close-by towns and scenic drives. The house is stocked generously, parking is ample and convenient, and most of all, the hosts and hostesses were responsive and helpful whenever we called on them. The communication was exemplary and the graciousness was on full display. We were pampered and treated like royalty. We cannot say enough about our stay. It was sad to leave but the cherished memories we made as a family will be with us for a very long time. Pineapple Ridge is a special place.

Something for everyone

We are a group of 16 extended family members ages 16 to 79 who take up a lot of space and have varied interests. The house was perfect because it had lots of room and everything we needed for our group. Everyone had a comfy bed. There were plenty of towels (beach and bath). The kitchen had all the cookware we needed for preparing big meals. The basement was a fun space for those of us who wanted to stay up late and play while the second floor bedrooms were far enough away that the noise didn’t keep grandma and grandpa awake. The house has several little nooks to sit and read. The yard is nice and big. There were plenty of chairs around the firepit and lots of palletwood for us to burn. The lilypad was fun to use right off the dock. We brought kayaks and went out in the evenings and mornings from the dock. The river views were nice. On the weekend, it was fun to watch all the different boats go by while during the weekdays the river was much quieter. Kris was very friendly and super easy to work with. I would definitely recommend this place for your family or friends get together. The house is bigger and nicer than the photos can show. Lots of personal special touches to make sure you have a great stay.

We are a large family and we rented this house for the weekend to celebrate Navy graduation. The house was immaculate, and communication with the owner was excellent. There were things to do for all of us: the hot tub, bonfire, games, movies, etc. We had a great time at this house and would highly recommend it for family trips!

We are a group of 3 couples who purchased this property as a get away to enjoy with our families. We wanted to share our love of the property when we are not able to use with others. We treat this as a second home with all the comforts and luxuries we enjoy. It is our hope that others treat this as they would their own homes and feel like we do when visiting.

We take pride in owning and renting this big and comfortable home. We make sure the home is clean and ready for guests all year. There is so much room, even with bad weather you will find plenty to keep everyone busy. The area is also very lively with a drive in movie theater, Volo Auto Museum, shops and many restaurants and bars. A great vacation spot for the whole family.
