Casa de lujo de lujo en 3 acres de exuberantes bosques con su propio arroyo privado y jacuzzi. Lugar perfecto para reuniones familiares y retiros. 8 habitaciones privadas con 3 baños. La cabina cuenta con una gran sala de recreo con mesa de billar y TV de pantalla grande. El área del comedor cuenta con una chimenea de piedra. La sala de estar cuenta con una estufa de gas y está abierta a un área de comedor / cocina adicional. La mesa del comedor tiene capacidad para 12 personas. La cocina tiene una nevera y el área de despensa tiene una segunda nevera. La casa está a solo 13 millas de Big Boulder Skiing y del área de Lake Harmony y a solo 13 millas de Blue Mountain. Se encuentra a unos 32 km del centro comercial Crossings Outlet y de Camelback Mountain. La piscina comunitaria está abierta desde el Día de los Caídos hasta el Día del Trabajo. Spacious home in a quiet setting with terrific hosts

We loved our stay at this home. Fully stocked kitchen to make cooking for a group of 20 a breeze. The hosts were amazing. Immediate responses to any questions and super helpful planning our trip in the area. The home itself was huge. So many bedrooms. The game room was a highlight, as was the amazing backyard. That’s where we spent most of our time. The hot tub too was perfect, super clean and roomy. Would absolutely stay here again!

Our Stay

The communication and check-in process was all good. There was just a lot of dust on the walls and ceilings. Moldy smell in rooms. The sheets and towels not being available without rental was a little inconvenient. Without the dust, the house itself was beautiful. Area was quiet and peaceful. A lot of space for family of 17.

Was a beautiful weekend, great house with lots of space. Kitchen area very spacious for whatever you wanted to prepare. Would recommend this place to everyone.

Cozy Home for a Winter Gathering

We held our annual family Christmas celebration here in early Jan. Everyone liked the rustic log-cabin feel, combined with modern efficiency and cleanliness. The house has plenty of room for guests to have fun together or pursue quieter activities away from others. There was a Christmas tree in the game room (converted garage). It was a rather scrawny tree, but it set the mood sufficiently for our "Christmas morning" festivities. The bedrooms were comfortable and suited our needs. We knew in advance to provide our own towels and sheets. Two refrigerators enabled us to store all our food in one and adult beverages in the other, and most kitchen gadgets and dishes we needed were there.As much as we enjoyed the house, there were a couple of negatives. The wooden railing upstairs, where the hallway overlooks the entry/living room, is not to code, and a young child could quite easily fit through the spindles and fall to the floor below. (Our family watches our littles well, but it would be too easy for a fast-moving toddler to make a tragic move!) Also, the railing is not secured properly to the structure of the house, which means it could break off far more easily than a properly-constructed railing would. Hopefully the owner will make some easy but important changes.The kitchen sink did not drain well. They probably can't have a disposal, but they at least need to get a better drain strainer. This made washing up quite difficult.Altogether, though, a cozy and fun place!

Perfect PA Getaway

We booked this to celebrate our in-laws 70th birthdays. We had 8 adults and 9 children ranging from 2-17. The house was the perfect size, enough room for all to have space together and space away from each other. The game room was perfect with all taking turns with the pool and ping pong table. The kitchen was perfect for cooking meals while also having all the family around with the large dining table and sitting areas. There was much to do in the area as well with the train ride in Jim Thorpe and many nearby waterfalls and hiking trails. I highly recommend staying here, the hosts were amazing, ensuring we had all we needed at every point in our stay!!!

Weekend Getaway

We had a great time at the cabin this past weekend. Plenty of space for 14 adults and home was just like the photos. Would recommend for anyone looking to enjoy the outdoors and each others company. Also great communication with the owners.

13 adults and 4 children- quite a group. had a wonderful time. cabin was perfect- hiked around, had multiple indoor and outdoor family dinners! loved it! lived up to my expectations!

Family Reunion Cabin

We were a large group that needed lots of space which this property amply provided. Additionally, the large kitchen was ideal for preparing meals for 15 people. Our favorite part of the property was the fire pit in the backyard. Quiet time must be observed after 10:00 PM.

Great place for large families

Our large extended family had a great time at this authentic cabin in the Woods. We were there during the first oppressive heat dome of the year and the air conditioning units were able to keep up. Great things in the area to do and the kitchen was adequate enough for us to cook most of our meals there.

We had a great time staying in the cabin. The firepit in the backyard was a really nice spot to hang out. And the owners were open and easy to reach.

Couples Retreat

The house is beautiful! It was very clean and spacious! Check in was easy. The host was nice and available anytime I had questions. She also offered suggestions for local fun and restaurants. The heat worked well! It was nice and toasty inside❤️. My friends, husband and I had a phenomenal time. We will definitely stay here again!

Great Getaway for the Family

We stayed for the better part of a week for a family get away over spring break. It was super relaxing. The house is large and has a room with a pool table and ping pong. That and the hot tub were key for the kids while the two fireplaces (one propane and one wood burning) kept me happy with something to enjoy early in the morning with my books and tinker with in the evenings. We went to the largest country store in the universe one day which is just down the road. Kids had a blast there. The owner was very nice and helpful. I’m the end, this isn’t a flashy place but it was perfect to get away for a reset and get closer as a family.

COZIEST FAMILY CABIN

We had a large group stay here of mainly couples. Everyone getting their own rooms was a HUGE plus. The kitchen and large dining table were perfect touches for us. The fire places make it feel so cozy that you don't even want to leave. The rec room provided fun for everyone and was the main hangout spot. The communication from the owners was top notch. I felt they were on top of everything prior to check in and we felt they were always ready to answer to anything we may have needed. Would definitely recommend to anyone especially if you're looking for a place to stay and ski in the Poconos!
