Charming Cottage near Douglas Beach!

Welcome to Lake Breeze Cottage! This 1600 sq foot 3 bedroom-2 bath attached cottage was recently renovated. It boasts wood floors throughout, with an open concept kitchen/dining/living room with gas fireplace. The master bedroom with king bed and full bath are on the main level, with two additional bedrooms located on the second floor. The “kids room” has two twin beds and a daybed with trundle, and the third bedroom has a queen with daybed as well. Laundry and large bathroom with separate shower area are also upstairs. Spend your mornings drinking coffee and watching the deer from our over sized screened in porch with gas fireplace. Our cottage is tucked back out of the way and with a private feel, but close to everything. Walk to Douglas beach, ride your bike to Lakeshore Drive or Downtown Douglas. Saugatuck and Oval Beach are both a 5 minute drive. There are countless wineries, orchards and breweries to visit.
Relax and enjoy the Art Coast of Michigan!

This is our second visit to this property and it is the perfect gathering place for our family. The house is immaculate and very comfortable with everything you need for a relaxing vacation. The screen porch is the favorite spot for our group. It's an easy walk to the beach and many great places to eat and shop in nearby Saugatuck and Holland.

Fantastic location and well-stocked house for a wonderful stay in the Douglas-Saugatuck area. The screened-in back porch with fireplace is wonderful to hang out and includes a table and chairs to eat out there. The garage is a great place to store beach gear and bikes for long rides on Lakeshore Drive. The location is walking distance to Douglas Beach for sunny beach days and gorgeous sunset views. The kitchen is completely functional and we cooked all kinds of meals. Could not ask for more from this property for a wonderful family vacation!

Cozy and clean

The cottage was perfect for our stay in Michigan.The location is serene, and we enjoyed the deer family that visited us daily. Communication with the property managers was terrific as they responded quickly. We definitely look forward to another stay for the future!

Wonderful Stay in Douglas

Thoroughly enjoyed a week at this home. Walked to Douglas Beach. Close drive to Oval Beach, Douglas & Saugatuck, attractions and restaurants. Highlights of home were spacious bedrooms, nicely updated bathrooms, and large screened room. Owners were very responsive to all questions and needs. Visited daily by deer, including fawns. Home well stocked with everything we needed -- especially enjoyed Uno and other games. Thanks very much!

Perfect family spot

Property was as advertised and very clean. Easy walk to Douglas Beach and short walk to Douglas and drive to Saugatuck. Very pleased and would recommend and stay again.

Wonderful location in quiet neighborhood

This was our first family vacation to the Douglas/Saugatuck area and we will definitely be back! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home! It was an easy walk to Douglas Beach and we loved the spacious screened in porch. Highly recommend!

Wonderful Stay!

We had a great stay in this lovely house! It was well equipped with everything we needed. We so enjoyed sitting on the back porch, eating dinner and watching the deer! The location is perfect - close to Saugatuck Douglas, the beach and hiking trails. A terrific vacation!

Get away

We've been visiting the area for many years, and loved the location. It was the perfect set-up for a family get away with our adult children. Very comfortable house and bedrooms, and the back porch was great too.

Great Family Vacation

Our family of 6 adults and one 4 year old had a wonderful time at your home in Douglas. They all loved the accomodations saying it was very comfortable, very clean and the perfect location. Most times we all walked to the beach. Saugatauk was a favorite shopping venue.

Great visit to Douglas

We love coming to Douglas / Saugatuck annually and truly enjoyed this location and house. Close to Douglas Beach, walk to restaurant or two, and quiet at night. Wonderful experience and hope to be back next year.

Beautiful Cottage!! Perfect location!!

This was our first trip to the Douglas/Saugatuck area and we could not haver picked a more perfect spot. The owners were wonderful and extremely helpful!! The cottage was beautiful and well equipped with everything we needed. It is a short walk to Douglas Beach and a short drive to Oval Beach (our favorite!!) We cannot wait to visit again, hopefully next year!

Second stay was just as great as the first

We had a great New Years trip to Douglas/Saugatuck. It was our second time at the house in two years. It was kept just as nice as the first. We love the home and will be back!

Perfection!

I would give this property a million stars if I could. It had every possible thing you would ever need. It’s beautifully decorated and very peaceful there. Great location near the beach and towns of Saugatuck and Douglas. The screened back porch with fireplace is to die for! It’s the perfect place to relax. Hosts Will and Christy were very responsive and welcoming!

We had a lovely time

We had an excellent stay here. The house was comfortable, clean and well-stocked. The screened in patio was the perfect place to drink coffee or play cards in the evening. Hosts communicated quickly. Our boys loved seeing the deer come through the trees into the backyard to hang out too! The house is an easy 10 minute walk to the beach and in close proximity to everything you need. We plan to visit Michigan again next summer and we’ll certainly look for this listing when we start planning.

Lovely Stay

This is our 2nd year staying at this house and it was just as good as the first time! We have a family of 4 with 2 young kids and we were very comfortable here. We love the proximity to the beach and spent a lot of time riding our bikes down Lakeshore Drive. The main bedroom is downstairs which is nice for those who can’t do the steep steps. Our daughter loves the trundle bed upstairs 🙂. We cooked a lot of nights and the kitchen has most of everything you will need. Lots of wonderful memories made.

We have been vacationing here since our kids were very little, and jumped at the chance to purchase Lake Breeze! We love the village feel and the lack of commercialism in the Douglas/Saugatuck area. It is the perfect place to destress, slow down and enjoy Lake Michigan!
