Bienvenido a la sala de la resaca! Ven y vive y juega como un local en nuestro apartamento de invitados inspirado en la costa, en la muy deseada Sección Sand, a pocos pasos de la famosa arena blanca de Manhattan Beach, California. Este amplio estudio de 700 pies cuadrados se ubica en el piso más bajo de nuestra casa, con una entrada privada, estacionamiento para un automóvil y todo lo que necesita para experimentar la vida de playa en su máxima expresión. Está a poca distancia del muelle y el centro de la ciudad, el corazón de la ciudad (así como la playa Hermosa), que está repleta de restaurantes informales, finos, boutiques y tiendas.

Esta casa es de nueva construcción y se terminó en mayo de 2015. Está muy bien situado en una de walkstreets famosos de Manhattan Beach, seis casas de la arena y el carril bici en el extremo sur deseable.

The Surf Room es nuestro amplio estudio orientado a la playa. Tiene mucho espacio para relajarse, así como un amplio almacenamiento (ganchos para colgar la parafernalia de playa, toallas y bolsas de playa, cubículos para el almacenamiento). Tiene un área de cuarto de baño con una ducha, una zona de bar para tomar un café por la mañana y / o bebidas por la tarde y aperitivos, un montón de asientos para pasar el rato. También tendrá acceso a un patio privado al aire libre con vistas a nuestra hermosa playa. ¡Y estacionamiento para un auto justo afuera de tu puerta! Nuestra familia lo disfruta, y nos encantaría compartirlo con ustedes.

La unidad está configurada para dos personas, pero a petición, puede alojar a dos adultos y posiblemente a un niño pequeño (solo en un PackNPlay / colchón en el piso). La aprobación previa es necesaria.

Walking distance to the heart of Manhattan Beach and its wonderful shops and restaurants. Simple access to the beach and the strand which are just down the hill. Nice outdoor area to enjoy a book and coffee.

Wonderful spot in Manhattan Beach

This is a great place from which to explore Manhattan Beach. Only a block from the beach and an easy walk to all the great restaurants. We especially enjoyed sitting on the patio looking out over the waves. The hosts were very welcoming and provided great communication.

Manhattan Beach Surf Room

I had a wonderful experience staying at Phil and Mica’s Surf Room. I traveled by myself, and I found the accommodations and location perfect for my weekend in Manhattan Beach. I was able to walk to all the nearby restaurants and bars. The room was very spacious and had all the amenities I needed. Phil and Mica were excellent hosts, and I would happily stay at their place again.

A Lovely Stay in The Surf Room

I had a lovely five-night stay in The Surf Room and highly recommend it for anyone looking to stay in Manhattan Beach. Everything about the property was wonderful - the location, the decor, how it was equipped, etc. In addition, Phil and Mica were great hosts. I have no suggestions regarding anything that could be improved.

Lovely basement Surf Room

Great location to beach. Nice outdoor area and beautiful flowers surrounding. There was no dishwasher or stove if you were staying for a long time. Refrigerator didn’t have a freezer. Nice place for a short stay however.

Perfect Stay by the Strand

It felt like it is was our own little bungalow by the beach! If you enjoy being by the ocean, walking to cute coffee/breakfast bars in the morning and biking on the strand then this is THE place to stay! Total surfer vibe throughout the place! Phil and Mica are great hosts to work with and very responsive if any needs come up! Would stay here every time!!!

Excellent location

Phil and Mica were very accommodating. They didn’t hesitate to let our son stay and visit with us there for a couple of days. Place is very quaint and comfortable. Enjoyed relaxing on the patio area. Absolutely loved being able to walk to the beach every day.

MB Stay

Loved this little gem of a place. Same price or less than a hotel room and much much roomier. It was extremely clean and the owners were so personable and responsive. The neighborhood is perfect and quiet and the studio is a block from the beach. We’ll definitely be back in the future!

Great location and property

Stayed for 3 nights in mid January and had a great time. Location is perfect and walking distance to downtown MB. If you are trying to work remotely, may want to bring your own hot spot as WiFi is somewhat spotty. Otherwise, highly recommend!

Great beach house

This place was perfect. The owners are lovely! They communicated was excellent! They had bikes we could use, the house is clean and decorated so cute! The patio has an ocean view. We loved everything about our stay! We hope to go back soon.

Perfect All Around

We stayed at Phil & Mica’s Surf Room for our daughter’s graduation and they made us feel welcome from our very first communication! The space is thoughtfully arranged & furnished while the location is ideal. We especially enjoyed early morning coffee on the terrace.. Friendly neighborhood, easy walking distance to everything. Would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful experience

My daughter and I stayed here for Easter. It was a great and comfortable space. The unit is on the bottom floor, and the owners live directly above the rented area. They are very helpful and attentive to the renter’s needs.

Wonderful stay!!

This spot is in the perfect location. Just a block away from the beach, and 10 mins from all the restaurants and shops! The room was spacious and clean, nice little kitchen area, comfy bed, and the outdoor area was nice to enjoy! The owners are very communicative, they live right above in case you need anything. You may hear their elevator and cat meowing but other than that it was pretty quiet!! We would stay again!

Brand New and Very Cool!

We stayed here for over a week and it is an AMAZINGLY located and developed property. Steps to the beach, an easy walk to downtown restaurants and bars, this place is just about as good as it gets as far as being centrally located. The owners are very nice and accommodating and provide outdoor lounging space (you cannot beat this view!), bikes and some beach equipment as well. The actual space itself is very cool, the shower has a lovely rain shower head, and overall we were very comfortable during our stay.

Nice visit.

We were in town for a wedding in Palos Verdes and to visit LA. The location was perfect for getting to the wedding, the airport, and anything else in the LA area. Manhattan Beach was better than we imagined with lots of activity, beautiful beaches, volleyball, surfing, and good dining. I got burned with a parking tiicket for the street cleaner, but that was my fault. We wished there were cooking facilities, but that was just a minor issue, overall.

Surf room stay

We were impressed with the owner and his courteous responses to our questions and concerns. We were under the impression that the living space would have a view from our room but it’s down in the basement with very little light. It was nicely decorated and very clean. As a nice gesture they could have had coffee available since there was a coffee pot. If you just want to sleep and don’t mind on the darker side it’s a great place and nice owners.

With a large and growing family of beach lovers, it's the perfect house. We live on the property and are available to answer questions or offer suggestions. We have furnished the apartment in a comfortable beach oriented decor. We will also supply our visitors with everything needed for the perfect vacation at the beach. Our unit is ideal to experience beach life at it's best. We look forward to having you come and visit us.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

We have moved three times within Manhattan Beach since first moving here in 1977, finally getting to where we wanted to be, just steps from the beach and the Pacific ocean. We built this house from the ground up, incorporating everything that we ever wanted in a beach home. Our property is located in the highly desirable south end of the Sand Section. It is in a residential area, so you will definitely experience "living like a local". Everything is within short walking and biking distances (both Manhattan and Hermosa beach cities).

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Our rental may say "Studio", but it's much much more. We built it for our own four children and their families to use when they visit (as they all live out of state now), to have place to put their stuff, shower, and relax after a day in the sun and sand with their children. In other words, their own private space to relax and enjoy. The unit includes a large sitting area, bar with small refrigerator and microwave, large walk-in shower, lots of storage, Queen-size bed. Unlike most studios, you will sleep in a regular bed and still have a large sitting area to eat and relax in. You will also have access to a private outdoor area overlooking the beach to sit and sip your morning coffee or an afternoon glass of wine! Also, parking for one car is right outside the door!!!
