Charming beach home,remodeled,steps to the beach 2 blks downtown Manhattan beach

This charming remodeled studio is our home away from home. This is our family vacation home so we remodeled it with all the creature comforts of home. We have a combo LG Wash/dryer, dual head shower to rinse your feet or just wash your hair from being at the beach all day. The kitchen offers a full size refrigerator and freezer to hold all those left overs from our world famous restaurants. Want to walk to the beach for the day? No problem, we supply the cooler for drinks and snacks, beach towel, beach chairs, blanket and boogie board.
Before an all day beach day we like to grab breakfast at Uncle Bill's or The Kettle (open 24 hours.) Grab some coffee across the street at Starbucks or our local brew before heading to the beach.
After an amazing day at the beach, we like to walk to dinner and our favorite is Esperanza for a margarita and some amazing upscale Mexican food (reservations a must). Sometimes we want something a little lighter, so we rock paper scissor between Sugarfish or The Izaka-ya(reservations a must for both). Don't worry, not in the mood for Mexican food or sushi? Manhattan Beach downtown has everything from pizza to fine dining.
Forgot a few things before heading back, no problem the Vons grocery store is a local favorite.
Want to unwind before you head to bed, turn on the outdoor lights, sit down and warm yourself with our fire pit and enjoy your favorite beverage. Don't forget a light jacket it gets a little chilly at night.
We added a few designer touches to the place like Walker Zanger tile, a Brizo shower system, a Viking induction stove, Bosch refrigerator and Microwave/oven. We even have a separate hot and cold water system. A Nest thermostat that controls the air conditioning and heat. Want coffee for the morning? We have a Keurig pod system with a variety of favors. All this and a new 55" OLED Sony TV with stereo speakers.
I think we went over budget on the remodel but I think you'll enjoy all the little touches we added to our home.

We can't say enough about how wonderful this property and owners are. The condo was the perfect home base for us for parent's weekend at my daughter's university. Brian was very responsive from our first communication on. Not only did he answer all my questions before the trip but Brian gave us the most amazing recommendations for nearby restaurants and things to do and helped make our daughter's birthday a special celebration. The condo was luxuriously appointed-the kitchen was brand new as was the bathroom (which also had a beautiful custom tile floor) and the outdoor patio space was great to relax in and keep our bikes safe. It was also fantastic having a parking space for our rental car. We cannot wait to stay here again and consider this our home away from home in LA! Be on the lookout for our next booking, Brian!

Well located and easy to get to. Very nicely appointed with everything one would need. Place was all newly decorated with modern lighting. Murphy bed folded up to provide a sofa in living area. Nice outdoor sitting area.

It was amazing!! Brian was a wonderful host & his communication was top notch. Loved the location & really enjoyed the outdoor space. The BBQ & fire table was very well used. Ideal location

One of my favorite beaches and towns in the L.A. area! The Studio was very well appointed down to the very minute details to ensure comfort. Frankly for oneof the smaller VRBO's I wasn't expecting as much - but this place had it all. Proximity to town and beach and amenities all a 10.

Comfortable and clean

This was a great stay. The place is very clean and comfortable with everything you might need and more. Brian was very responsive and friendly. The bed, which is a Murphy bed, was surprisingly comfortable. The street noise wasn’t bad, even though it sits on a corner. The walk to the beach is short, but it’s a little steep on the way up. It’s got a nice little outdoor space with comfortable furniture. Lots of boutique shopping and restaurants nearby, including a grocery store within walking distance. I’d definitely stay here again.

Manhattan Charm

Apartment was very well appointed. We had everything we needed. Loved the courtyard, fire pit, grill…home was just what the 2 of us needed. We loved the location, walked to breakfast, dinner and the beach with ease. 2 of our best nights, though, were spent in the courtyard. NY Strip steaks from Manhattan grocery, wine and veggies under a blanket around the fire….ideal. Our host, Brian was great. Check in and out was easy, and he was quick to reply/attend to anything we needed. We will be back!!

Loved this special gem of a place! Perfectly located just steps to the beach, shops and restaurants. The unit has everything you need to be comfortable with nice appliances, amenities, etc. Loved that all the switches are labeled so you're not hunting for which light is which! Great Wi-Fi as well. Super place to work and play - will be back!

Amazing property & location!

Had an amazing stay here! The apartment is fully renovated, extremely clean and exactly as pictured. The location is a few blocks from the beach and from downtown - which can’t be beat! Brian was also extremely helpful and very easy to communicate with during my stay. Highly recommend. I’m already planning my next trip back!

Perfect Beach Getaway

We really love the location of this stay within walking distance to the beach and restaurants. The host was flexible and communicated with us well including giving us suggestions on places to go. The kitchen was the perfect size to make meals, we enjoyed having the laundry facilities, the beach chairs, and towels, and the great amenities outside, including the grill and fire pit. Provided parking was great! We especially thought that the classic books for beach reading that were available was a nice gesture. Highly recommend.

Perfect location

Loved the place. Seems small at first (it is a studio), but the private patio was extremely comfortable and like a total extra room. Very high end finishes and nice touches all around. Two blocks to the beach and two blocks to downtown, Three blocks to grocery. It was perfect.

Lovely, well kept, well appointed studio

Very enjoyable three days at this studio. Excellent location. The living/sleeping area is a bit small, the size of a bedroom, but the bathroom is a good size and the kitchen area big enough to prepare and store food and drink. Thank you for providing such a comfortable home away from home.

Manhattan Beach is wonderful and we visit our family there regularly. This location is wonderful-close to the beach and the Strand and all of the shops and restaurants. We stayed in our host’s cozy studio and it is a marvel of design for a small space. EVERY Possible need is anticipated. Our host was very accessible. We could not give a better review.

Amazing rental

This property has more than enough amenities included. Anything you might need other than groceries is included. Host is super responsive and place is so clean and comfortable . I was amazed at how soft the bed was. It is so close to the beach and the Strand . We will book this place again! I can’t say enough good things about this place. Love love love it!

Perfection!

Between prompt communication with Brian, 10/10 location, 10/10 amenities (including the little things of rabbit wine opener, air purifier, sonos speakers, nice beach chairs, boogie boards etc), 10/10 cleanliness- highly recommend. Pictures are an accurate depiction of this little studio in the most primo location!
