This cabin was perfect for our family of 5 to get away and relax. The views were the best! I loved all of the natural lighting through the big windows. We also enjoyed the hot tub! The rooms were spacious but I would recommend some dressers for storage or at least some hangers. The pit boss tripped the breaker everytime we tried to use it so that was a downer for the steaks we had but ended up just using the regular grill. Overall it was a great stay and we will consider coming back.

We had a great stay during the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. Gorgeous scenery, plenty of space. Enjoyed the hot tub almost every day. We appreciate the hospitality and may book again for next year. Could use more storage for clothing (dressers etc), including more hangers in closets. More towels also. Otherwise, everything was perfect.

The property was great. It was clean and well appointed. The kitchen was nice and had every thing we needed. The location and views were great. The only slight issues were the pellet grill kept tripping the breaker, the hot tube was recently filled so it needed to warm up over night, and the bedding on several beds wasn't quite dry yet after washing and had to be put back in the dryer. But overall, no big deal and we were really happy with the place. Would recommend!

Awesome getaway!

The cabin was so nice! Perfect for our family. The deck and hot tub was fun to come back to after all of our exploring in the black hills.

Just what we were looking for!

Amazing location and view! Easy access for skiing at Terry Peak, trail running/biking, hiking. All the amenities were up to date and functional. I look forward to booking again in the future!

Great Stay near the Black Hills

The Bucket List Retreat exceeded our expectations. The view off the back porch has to be one of the best in the area! We had never been to this part of the country and heading back to this gorgeous home late every afternoon after some long drives made it even more worthwhile. We definitely reccomend to anyone heading to Deadwood or the Black hills to give this place a try!

Lives Up To It’s Name

This property is the type of place that when you walk into it, everyone gets giddy. The house is decorated beautifully, the view is fantastic, and the massive windows pull the Black Hills inside. We look forward to staying here again.

Incredible views of the black hills! The property was clean and easy to access. Perfect size for 4 adults snd 3 kids. Improvements could be the addition of ceiling fans in the rooms. Otherwise was a great weekend!

We used the Pit Boss one day, it worked well, the next day, it smoked alot and would not get hot. We believe it was plugged with wet pellets but not for sure. But it does need to be looked at before someone else tries to use it. Everything else about the cabin was great!

Family Vacation

We enjoyed our stay at this rental. We know it was on Terry's Peak- but didn't realize the climb up and the hills we'd need to drive daily. The rental is in a new development and you definitely would need 4-wheel drive in the winter. Views were beautiful. Neighboring rentals were all respectful and it was not noisy. Fit all 10 of us (2 adults, 8 kids).

Excellent Property and Location!

Budi was an excellent host! Very quick at responding to any and all questions and attentive to our needs before and during our stay. The property is well laid out and has everything you need for a big gathering especially while celebrating Christmas with a large group. It was sparkling clean! It is literally right by the Terry Peak entrance and a very short drive to Lead and Deadwood. We also made our way to Spearfish Canyon to a beautiful winter drive. We highly recommend this property and working with Budi. We will be selecting this property if we are back in the area!

We were actually a little nervous since there were no reviews online when we booked it. The house was beautiful. The owner seemed like a nice reasonable person. The view was beautiful. Everything in the house worked perfectly. Very tastefully decorated. Just a great overall experience. Highly recommended.
