Esta hermosa casa amueblada y renovada de 2 dormitorios y 2 baños se encuentra en la isla Balboa, a solo 1 cuadra de la playa y del ferry de la isla Balboa. Un hallazgo raro en la isla, ofrece techos abovedados, aire acondicionado, lavandería interior, un patio al aire libre, estacionamiento techado. La casa fue completamente reformada en mayo de 2014 y se muestra como un modelo. Equipado con todas las comodidades que una familia o pareja desearía al disfrutar de unas vacaciones en esta encantadora isla paradisíaca.

La suite principal ofrece una cama King, lujosas toallas y sábanas, vestidor y TV de pantalla plana. El segundo dormitorio tiene 2 literas dobles, ropa de cama de alta calidad, un amplio armario, tocador y su propio televisor de pantalla plana.

La sala de estar cuenta con un NUEVO y amplio sofá cama LazyBoy con capacidad para dos y muchas películas, libros y juegos para disfrutar durante su estadía. El comedor tiene capacidad para 6 personas y un encantador patio privado es ideal para tomar café por la mañana, cócteles por la tarde o cenar, e incluye una parrilla a gas.

The hosts were very welcoming. The unit was updated, clean, organized, it had everything you would need for your vacation. The beds were very comfortable and the linens were high-quality. We didn’t do any cooking, but if you did, the appliances are wonderful. There were three televisions( one in each bedroom and a big one in the living room. There is a wonderful outdoor seating area outside as well as a grill. We especially enjoyed having a carport. Thank you for such a wonderful unit for our visit.

This was definately "home away from home". It was perfect! Nice clean 2br, 2bth, full kitchen with large refrigerater, washer/dryer, balcony, patio, carport, near a fabulous mexican restaurant, near the ferry, near the waterfront for wonderful walks along the waterfront. Hosts were so kind & welcoming. I will definately be back!

This place was perfect. So clean and conveniently located. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen had some great appliances. The host was available for questions but not breathing down your neck. They had great suggestions for things to do. I would stay here again.

There are so many great things to share about our stay at this home on Balboa Island. The hosts Pasqual and Kathy are the kindest people and greeted us with a warm welcome at the covered designated parking spot, which is such a plus on the island. They gave us a quick tour of the home. I wasn’t sure what to expect as this was our first VRBO experience. The home was exactly as pictured. It was very clean and neat and there were plenty of towels and storage space for our clothes and luggage. The rooms and beds were perfect for our family of 4. (2 kids ages 2 & 3) the fridge was nice and big and the kitchen stored all our things after a quick run to the grocery store. The hosts left a nice list of restaurants to try and we went to a handful of them, all great recommendations. You also can’t beat the patio situation at this home. There is lounge seating as well as a dining table. We didn’t take advantage of the grill and cook but definitely will next time. It was so nice enjoying a glass of wine outside while our kids played a few games (there are also games under the tv in the house which we loved). The location is also perfect. It’s across the street from a great little Mexican restaurant (try the jalapeño margarita) and it’s a quick walk to the ferry which is easy for getting to the beach. I highly recommend this house and we will DEFINITELY be back, no doubt about it. We already miss “our beach house.”

Great stay

What a great property, Balboa Island is a great location, the area feels very safe and the property is excellent, well appointed and the bed is super comfy. I'd recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay on the area. Pasqual and Kathy are also two lovely hosts.

Amazing Island Property

This property is newly remodeled and walkable to the cute main shopping street (Marine Ave), a delicious Mexican restaurant, bay beach (great for little kids), and a small playground/basketball court. It's also near the ferry which takes you to the Balboa Penninsula. I highly recommend staying here!

Excellent place

The unit was appointed well and close to the island ferry and Fun Zone. Easy walk to anywhere on the island. The host was very hospitable and helpful with easy check-in and out. Would definitely recommend this place.

Balboa Island Retreat

Wonderful from start to finish! Easy check in, host was very helpful and accommodating, clean and stocked with so many pluses. Beach chairs, beach towels, an outdoor beach shower, laundry in unit, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The outdoor eating/sitting area was lovely and the location is ideal - close to everything. We brought our 17 year old son and 3 friends here for spring break and it was so much fun! Thank you!!

Weird check in procedure and host entered the property unannounced

The property was nice and a good location however, we had an odd interaction with the host during the stay that others should be aware of. Our check in time was 4PM. We contacted the host 24 hours out for entry instructions, as we were driving from out of state, at that time he would not provide them to us and told us to call him as we got closer to the property to meet him for the keys. We arrived about an hour before check in and were told we were too early, which we understand so we let him know we would go run an errand. We went for lunch and some shopping and he called to let us know he was headed to dinner and we could not check in until after he was back around 6:30 PM. We let him know this was not acceptable and then he hung up the phone with us. He then texted a little while later stating he would leave the door open with the keys inside. Once we entered the property and got settled, the host and his wife let themselves into the property unannounced. We were shocked to see him in the house without knocking or announcing himself and had NEVER experienced anything like this before. It was very alarming and in the moment didn't want to create a scene and make the situation worse, but it made us uneasy the remainder of the trip. If I would have been alone or with all women, I may have left the property, but had my husband staying with us and my uncle staying across the street. The host lives on the property, which is why we chose not to call VRBO in the moment.

Wonderful month on Balboa Island!

My husband and I spent the month of January at this beautiful Balboa Island property and could not have been happier with our experience! The home is decorated beautifully and is fully equipped with anything you need to feel at home and comfortable. We especially enjoyed using the outdoor patio area and grill. The owners were extremely helpful and pleasant. The location was perfect! Highly recommended!Mary and Paul Simonetti

Great week on Balboa Island.

Had a great week staying with my girlfriend & Mixed Doubles partner at Pasqual’s Balboa Island VRBO while playing in a Pickleball Tournament in Newport Beach. Comfortable, tastefully decorated place with well-stocked kitchen & beach chairs, umbrellas etc. Enjoyed walking to restaurants & to watch sunsets. Took Ferry to Balboa Peninsula which is just 1 block away!

Quick family reunion

The place was decorated so beautifully. It was very clean, with every amenity imaginable. It’s located close to the Ferry, restaurants, and shopping is within walking distance. Our family is from the area and we felt right at home. The owners were so warm and inviting. They made us feel like a part of their family. We will definitely be back. Loved meeting them and staying at their vacation home. Highly recommend to everyone!!

Great location and property

The hosts were welcoming upon check in and provided a thorough introduction to the property and facilities available. The property itself was excellent - great location, very clean and was equipped with everything you would need. I would definitely book this property again
