Disfruta de Chicago como Chicago y bienvenido al histórico barrio de Logan Square. Es una visita obligada cuando visite Chicago. Nuestra ubicación es muy fácil de navegar y de fácil acceso a otros vecindarios o al centro. EL PROPIETARIO VIVE EN EDIFICIO.

EL ESPACIO
Gran lugar cómodo si uno está aquí por trabajo o por placer, para cualquier duración! La unidad tiene mucha luz natural y se encuentra en una calle muy tranquila, con amplio estacionamiento gratuito en la calle. Tenemos un dormitorio principal con una cama queen super cómoda, un sofá en la oficina y en la sala familiar. Si trae invitados adicionales, ¡también tenemos un colchón de aire Queen para su uso!

"Las calles arboladas de Logan Square están llenas de bungalows y edificios regios de Greystone. North Milwaukee Avenue es la principal franja comercial y cuenta con restaurantes, bares de cócteles y tabernas de cerveza artesanal. También hay cafeterías y delicatessen extravagantes, así como galerías de arte y locales de música. Establecido en 1915, el Logan Theatre muestra películas y tiene un bar vintage ".

The host was great, and very responsive. However, I struggled with the cigarette smoke smell in the stairwell, which creeped into the unit sometimes.

Good weekend stay

Parking was a little crowded on the street and it wasn’t the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed, but it was a cute space with a decently quiet neighborhood!

Just what we needed

Quick responses from owner. Close walking distance to at least 3 pizza places, a nice park, and a convenient store. Easy parking on street every day of the week. Only about 25 minutes give or take to all downtown activities. Thank you for the stay wonderful stay!

Three Nights in Palmer Square

The property is exactly as advertised. A cozy, quiet apartment just under a mile from N Milwaukee Ave. The apartment was very clean, the facilities and furnishings were nice and comfortable, and checking in and out was beyond painless. The key-less entry is very easy and the stairs are pretty quick and accessible. It was over 95 degrees out our whole stay so the AC had to work hard but it was effective! Would very much recommend the Goathote for anyone looking for a quiet place to work/stay

Mature beautiful neighborhood

Location is lovely near a park and community garden. Walkable to CTA, coffee and food. The building is a classic Chicago 3-flat that’s charmingly in need of repair. It feels like the apartments I lived in when I was 25. I love it, and The vibe is chill. The light in the home is beautiful. Front bedroom is super small as most of the old homes were. It would make more sense if this listing were cheaper per night.

Christmas Get Away

It was my first time staying in Chicago...first time using this company. The interrior pictures are very accurate...exterrior not so much. The place was not filthy but not really clean either. The hint of pot coming into the apt. Isn't as bad as the burnt fried onion type smell used to cover it up...was awful. The tenants i think that were above us sounded like they were moving furniture all night for the first 2 nights of our 4 night stay. The huge verbal cursing match happening inside the building Christmas eve was a bit of a distraction....overall the 55.00 a night charge well worth it but if the are going to charge another 190.00 for, I assume up keep and cleaning...then please clean it...also bring your own utensils...thiers are filthy and disgusting

A mixed bag

The house is cute and in a really fun neighborhood that is convenient to all the people we came to visit in Chicago and about 15 minute walk from the train with easy access to O'Hare. Here are the downsides for us: the tenant in the downstairs apartment is a chain smoker and the smell of tobacco smoke was unavoidable and an unpleasant factor. Also the bedrooms are tiny and can barely accommodate double beds. The bedroom off of the dining room has one window with an air conditioner so there was no possibility of opening the window to allow for the flow of fresh air. This was particularly an issue given the stale tobacco odors.

We do not own the building and we only rent this unit. The tenant in the downstairs apartment is truly out of our control. Not clean at all

We spent the first 24 hours discovering more areas of the apartment that were disgustingly dirty. There were ants and ant traps in the kitchen and bathroom. The cutlery drawer had what appeared to be used dental floss tools and a used face mask. Many utensils were dirty and sticky. The one oven mitt had a hole in the thumb. The toilet had not been cleaned with brown stains visible when lifting the toilet seat. It was very difficult sleeping the first night wondering if the beds were clean. They came to clean for us the next day but at that point we had no desire to use anything in the apartment. There was a very loud field that would turn on every 10 minutes and then turn off for about 10 minutes. The temperature could not be controlled in the apartment so we could not stop it.

Very nice place and location

Enjoyed our visit the only thing that I wish the property had is a backyard or porch to spend time outside while we were there.

Property review

The kitchen and bathroom were dirty. Bathroom sink stopper broken. Notified owner never fixed while I was there. Nothing to wash or dry dishes with, this was definitely needed as first cup I took out of the cupboard had food dried on it so everything had to b washed. Nice location easy parking
