Christmas Trip

We have been taking post holiday trips to cabins since 1993. This was our first time to actually be away at Christmas and our stay was fantastic! For sure one of our most favorite cabins!

Anniversary getaway

We had an amazing long weekend at this cabin. It is conveniently located to several places to visit. The cabin had everything that we needed. The wine fridge is a nice touch!

Quiet get away

Perfect weekend getaway. Quiet cul-de-sac spot. We spent lots of time reading on the screened porch, hot tub and playing board games on outdoor seating. Well equipped kitchen. Be sure to grab groceries on your way in. We will stay here again

Girls' Weekend

Nice clean property in wooded and gated neighborhood where cabins are not right on top of each other. Loved the screened back porch area with hot tub. You can walk 3 mins to the resort restaurant. A breath of fresh air for all of us!

A beautiful and remarkably clean cabin and a somewhat secluded setting

This cabin is great for early risers. You'll enjoy the sounds of birds and a beautiful setting. As the day goes on the hum of other guests and events taking place in the resort infringe on the peace and quiet. The cabin itself was truly remarkably clean. Very comfortable bed and swapping out the gas for the electric grill was zero problems.

50+ Girls R&R weekend trip

The cabin was amazing! Extremely clean and a beautiful location. Our only disappointment was that the hot tub was not enough to use the first night. We found out from the property manager/office that it was because they empty the hot tub to completely clean between guests, which we appreciate! It was hot, ready and perfect the next day!

Cute decor; hot tub was nice; pretty far out of the way to groceries and town; no food/pizza delivery; not secluded (cabins close together); bathroom had long black hairs everywhere (even in shower) which totally grossed me out. Overall, okay stay.

The property management staff went above and beyond our expectations!

Polite, professional, attentive staff patiently answered numerous questions regarding the operation of equipment in the cabin and addressed any issues that arose. The delivery of cookies and invitation to a neighborhood party for St. Patrick's Day was very special. We'll be back!

Cute cabin

When searching for a home, the biggest thing for us was accommodations for the boat and trailer. We parked boat at marina first and it was a good thing because the boat never would have gotten to this property, it had a circular drive as advertised but it was very small and tight. Good for a small group enjoying nature, but not the lake. Sheets were stained and cobwebs on back porch but overall we made it work and had a fun weekend.

Our team at Lake Cumberland Resort III strives to make each stay the best possible for our guests. Unfortunately, there will be issues to overcome along the way, and we do our absolute best to correct those. This encounter is not a true representation of what we offer in our rentals. We take pride in our reviews. Because we are nearly at a 5-star rating, we are a Super Host on Airbnb and a Premiere Partner with VRBO. This home is currently rated 5.0. Our standards are high, and we go over all issues with our staff to ensure we each learn from any mistakes. This home does have a circular drive which is a favorite for our bass boat fishermen. Keep in mind for your next visit we have better parking at our office for our own renters. Moving forward, we will continue to work with our Six Sigma Consultant on our company policies and procedures.

Excellent- We will be back!

The cabin was amazing! There were a couple issues, to which, the management addressed onsite within 10mins of calling. Very nice people! The cabin is kept up with current decor, modern appliances and entertainment , making it easy to feel comfortable immediately after walking through the front door. The high light for us was the fully screened back deck with generous patio seating, gas grill and hot tub!After a day out on the lake, the back deck was the spot to be! My family was so happy to this find this cabin, but saddened that we’ve been only two hours away from Lake Cumberland for the past 10yrs a and never knew community existed! Can’t wait to return!
