Lakeside Hideaway II - lakefront with hot tub / walk to boat ramp

Welcome to our rustic lakefront townhouse on Lake Cumberland! Enjoy the view from our spacious decks or relax in the hot tub, by the campfire, or in the community swimming pool. Boaters can access the public boat ramp a quarter mile down the road. Hiking and ATV trails are located in the surrounding Daniel Boone National Forest. Cumberland Falls, Natural Arch, Princess Falls, the Big South Fork Recreation Area, SomerSplash Waterpark, and wineries are located a short drive away.

Our townhome is located in Lake Cumberland Resort, a gated community, with 24 hour security, 3 swimming pools, tennis court, and a small store (offers milk, bread, eggs, ice cream, pizza, and local artwork).

The townhome features 3 bedrooms. The first floor King bedroom has an adjoining full bathroom. Two Queen bedrooms are on the lower level and share a full bathroom. One lower deck and one upper deck have seating for dining or relaxing and enjoying the view (the hot tub is on the lower deck).

We Thoroughly Enjoyed our stay. Wonderful rooms, Comfortable beds, beautiful decor inside and beautiful view outside. We enjoyed using private hotub outside on ground level deck snd sat on second story deck for cocktails as sun se each night. We made use of outside table and chairs. We brought our own food and the Kitchen had Everything we needed. Board games available and multiple TVs. Watched a few movies during our stay in comfortable living room. My sister and I high-fived the minute we walked in the door and a few times each day. Easy check-in and check-out instructions. Gated community. Beautiful area. Great communication with host, quickly answering all of my questions. So much better than staying at a hotel. We had a fabulous time for the weekend in our own comfortable private vacation house/rental. Visited Cumberland Falls. A I ABSOLUTELY love the way the rooms are decorated. Love the wood and outdoors lake/ cottage motif. The photos of rental are very accurate and better in person. THANK YOU for letting us stay at your lovely property. I would love to stay again in the future. EXCELLENT!!! I would TOTALLY Recommend this rental. Thank you to our Fabulous Hosts. A

Great place to stay. Hot tub was awesome and the balcony over looking the lake was a perfect place for breakfast. The area was beautiful! Somerset was 30 minutes away with great restaurants.

Wonderful Stay!

We had a great stay! The property was clean, and had everything we needed to feel at home. There is a nice view of the lake and the fire pit in the backyard was nice to use in the evenings. The proximity of the boat ramp was also a plus. We would definitely stay there again!

This place was better than we had even expected! It was very clean, neat and comfortable. Everything that we needed was provided! My family had such a great time here!! I would definitely stay here again!! I give it a 10/10!! Highly recommend!!!

Lake Days Weekend

My friend and I decided to we needed a long weekend getaway for us and our 2 teen boys. This unit was perfect. The gated community helped us momma's feel more secure going alone the first night before my husband joined us after work on Friday. The home was not only clean but well stocked for all our needs. We cooked some delicious meals using the gas grill and the kitchen as well. The view from the screened in patio was gorgeous and peaceful. We enjoyed the pool daily and had it mostly to ourselves. The owner/host was so helpful. She answered all of our questions in a timely manner and made us feel right at home. We hope to visit again soon and will recommend this unit to friends and family.

Great place

This was a great place and they had anything you would ever need. One of the best places I have stayed. I loved that they communicated up front about an issue that was out of their hands. I would recommend this place to anyone. We had a great week with our family.

Fall girls trip

Loved loved loved the interior and decor of Lakeside hideaway. Plenty of room for the 4 of us girls and kitchen had all the amenities we could ask for. Really enjoyed sitting in the screened porch. Only a couple little things keep it from being perfect.. Did notice that there had been some storm damage (?) to the next unit and that there may of been some to this as well ( downstairs bedroom closet) and hot tub electrical was a bit too close for overflow water for personal taste and a better barrier between other side on the deck. (We had a group of young men the last night there that smoked and we kinda got subjected to cigar smoke). Overall I’d come back in a heartbeat especially in the “off” season as it was peaceful. Thank you for an excellent adventure for us

What a beautiful location! The house was clean and fully stocked. The check-in process was super easy, and the owner quickly answered any questions/needs. I would definitely come back!

Tracy and Dave are life long lake enthusiasts, have owned or rented properties on many lakes in the midwest, and have enjoyed boating, kayaking, jet-skiing, fishing, and hiking with their family and friends for many years.

Tracy and Dave purchased a home on Lake Cumberland in Lake Cumberland Resort in the fall of 2020. Lake Cumberland offers 1200 miles of shoreline and is nearly 100 miles long. The coves make for an enjoyable day to tie your boat up and enjoy the clear water and beautiful scenery. Hiking and ATV trails surround the property in Daniel Boone National Forest.
