Property was exactly as described and was very clean. Had all the cooking utensils one would need and were not of the cheap variety. The pool at the property was also well maintained and kept very clean!

The only negative is no cart available to help with luggage. We had to make several trips to get everything to our room.

Rarely do we go on a vacation and say that we can’t wait to go back- we tend to check out somewhere new every year… but this was a vacation worthy of repeating and may just become our go-to spot! We loved the whole area! The traffic was light, the people were friendly, the community was clean and safe, there were plenty of eating options (we mostly went to Fernandino Beach area- a pleasant 18-minute drive). The Amelia Island area and Fernandino Beach Area are all very family friendly and quiet. The condo was fantastic! We spent many hours on the balcony and at the beach. Our goal was to simply relax, and boy did we ever! One thing I’ll mention for those who are curious… the parking lot is ample, and we had no problem parking our full-size truck. We were even able to back in most of the time. The bed frame is a little creaky, but not vacation-ruining by any means. We appreciated the beach chairs and beach umbrella too! We enjoyed our quiet, relaxing, worry-free first vacation as empty-nesters- making memories in a new chapter of our lives. Thankful for the opportunity and experience3

We have stayed at Surf and Raquet on numerous occasions and never had a problem. This is a nice one bedroom condo with a great view. Unfortunately, it was not cleaned properly. The furniture was dusty, glass top tables and mirrors looked like they had something smeared all over them, and there were Cheerios on the floor. The shower also had a clump of hair in the drain and had not been cleaned. When I called the after hours service about the condition of the condo, which I have never done before, I was told to take pictures and send them to an email address and they could send a cleaning crew the next day. The next day was too late for me! We had to stay in the condo that night. So, I spent the first hour cleaning so that this would not ruin the whole weekend. I am not looking for a discount. We did wind up enjoying the weekend, but this issue should have been addressed immediately. On a positive note, the sheets and towels were fresh and clean. A cleaning crew had obviously been there. They just did a terrible job.
