Lovely swimming, boating and fishing. Jet-ski lift. Large shady Pecan trees and green grassy area up to the water. Take in the lake scene from the covered breezy dock and lounge in a protected swimming area. At night, the upper deck is great for viewing sunsets and nighttime stargazing.

The house has large picture windows, a big patio with views of the lake, and a large shady Pecan tree with ample grassy area up to the water. Close to Inks lake, Legends golf course, and many boat rental locations. Downtown Kingsland music and big screens at Boat Town Burger or wonderful full course meals at Grand Central Cafe. 3 bedroom 3 bath open design house. Sleeps 10.

We've stayed here several times now and it is always lovely. A very comfortable place to stay with activities for all and nice thoughtful touches like a hammock, ping pong, air hockey and other games. The kids/teens love swimming and jumping off the dock here, it's nice and deep. The shady yard and multiple outdoor sitting areas are perfect to adapt to the time of day/mood. Darby is a great and responsive host too!

No boat needed, we enjoyed swimming, floating and jumping off the dock! House was nice and plenty of room for all. Everyone's ready to do this again.House was booked right before the flooding in central Texas, the owner of the property kept me updated on the condition of the water and sent me pictures to ease my anxiety. I definitely recommend this property.

The house was great. The owners had more supplies than I expected and lots of games to help with our entertainment. The facilities were great as well with cooking options, flotation devices and lots of seating options.

Great Stay at LBJ

We had a great family vacation at this home! It was in a perfect location with amazing shade and view of the lake. I would highly recommend it to others!

Just like the pictures!

Amazing stay. We loved the size of the house, amenities, and the private dock. We had a wonderful time. There was plenty of space and the pictures are an accurate representation of the home.

Perfect lake retreat!

The house was very clean, well stocked for cooking, and lake fun. There were plenty of towels for inside and outside, and some floats and life vests also. The waterfront area was great for floating, and handy for the ski boat we rented at Splash. The host was extremely responsive. We will definitely come back again.

Great as always!

We've stayed at Darby's place several times over the years, and every time has been exceptional. This has been a great spot for two families with kids (variety of ages up to teens). The area down by the lake is the favorite, swimming is good, and there is comfortable lounging space. The outdoor patio space by the house is also fabulous in the whole area is shaded. The house is comfortable and had everything we needed! Thank you Darby for another fabulous stay!

Great Weekend at Kingsland…

Relaxing and very enjoyable weekend at this home located at the water’s edge of Lake LBJ. Darby does a great job and made our visit carefree. Clean, well stocked home and terrific location. We’ll be back!

Everything you need

This home and location offered everything we needed to enjoy Lake LBJ. Our children swam right out the back door, we fished there too and managed to catch dinner. We rented a boat and spent a day exploring the lake from end to end. We spent a day at the Slab panning for gold and visited Longhorn Caverns. It was an amazing and fun trip. Darby was a very responsive and accommodating host. Can wait to go back! We are already planning our next reunion.

Relaxing stay

Our stay was almost perfect here. There was plenty of space for us and our 2 adult kids, bathrooms nice, living room and kitchen nicely situated and stocked. Plenty of beach towels, floats, and kitchen supplies. The master bedroom bed was the most comfortable we’ve ever had at an airb&b or VRBO. Our dogs loved being able to get in water and paddle around. The swimming area was nice and we caught several catfish off the dock. The only negative comment- while we were aware there was no boat lift we didn’t think the tie off area on dock would be so rough. Our boat got scratched up and the handle by boat ladder was ripped off one day because of the jostling around due to all the lake traffic. Other than the boat situation we had a wonderful time here. It’s peaceful and comfortable with a beautiful backyard. We would highly recommend this property. Just be aware if you have a boat it might get tossed around.

Perfect spot

Couldn’t have asked for a better spot for our family. Easy pre-booking, arrival, check in. The house has everything you need, is laid out perfectly and is great for swimming, boating, grilling, playing any other great card/board games or just enjoying the shade and the lake. Darby was a wonderful host, responsive and wants to do whatever it takes to make your time at the house great. Absolutely would not hesitate to return

This property exceeded our expectations - especially the absolutely wonderful back yard and dock. The trees are gorgeous, the hammock is a lovely touch, and the layout of the home perfectly suits a few families staying for a little get together. Perfectly easy to contact the host too for anything we needed.

Amazing Stay!

We had the most beautiful weekend at this lake home. Everything you could need is available. The kitchen was probably the best well stocked and equipped for real cooking I’ve seen in a rental. Both indoors and out so cared for. The home is so open and each bedroom has a bathroom. Perfect for bigger groups. Everything has been thought of down to charcoal and insect repellent outside. I took walks both days in the neighborhood. Very quiet and shaded. Most importantly, Darby was the best! She’s quick to respond and so accommodating. You can’t go wrong with this rental! We will be returning often.

lovely lake getaway

Took advantage of the last weekend before start of school to get away. The property was perfect for our needs. The girl in our group had her own room and bathroom, and the boys shared a room and had their own bath, and we parents had the master. So comfortable. Loved all the fun games at property. And the extra table in the living room was perfect for beading (made some bracelets!) or puzzling. Dock was wonderful, kids loved jumping off. Took a GIANT inflatable unicorn, and he floated in the little area next to dock all weekend long. Darby was great on communication. Super easy check-in and check out. Looking forward to coming back soon.

We love the shady Pecan trees, green grassy area and gorgeous view of Lake LBJ! Also, we love the location. In the heart of Lake LBJ where boats go cruising by and you feel like you are a part of it. Good swimming and lake viewing. Friendly atmosphere!

This property has its own protected swimming area which is rare! And the property is wider than most. The dock is on the main part of the lake, which is fun for viewing the Lake LBJ boat scene! Almost feel like you are among the other boaters while you sit on the covered dock and relax. The upper deck has great sunsets and nighttime stargazing.
