Beautiful home, incredible views, excellent hosts! My family loves to travel and this house is one of our favorite places we've ever stayed. Went with my husband, 3 kids and husband's parents on a visit to the national park. We felt so welcome and comfortable. Hassan responded quickly to any questions and was very helpful with check-in as we got there late after a later flight. The location is in a great neighborhood with quick access to stores and restaurants but you'd never know it when you are enjoying the gorgeous views surrounding the house. Easy access to the national park and Luray Caverns. We even stayed an extra day to have time to relax and enjoy the house and all there is to do there. Saw lots of wildlife and even a bald eagle, played golf, walked to the Shenandoah River, enjoyed the hot tub. As an extra bonus, all the people we came across in the neighborhood, golf course and town were very welcoming. We can't wait to come back!

We enjoyed our time at the Blue Spruce. The property was located in a quiet neighborhood that was conveniently located to nearby Shenandoah and Luray Caverns. We were able to hike all day and cook in the evenings. Grocery stores were close by as well as a few restaurants. The owners were very responsive if we had any questions.

Beyond expectations

I’ve stayed in vacation rentals before, but this house truly stands out above the rest. Beautifully decorated, fully equipped with everything you might need, and thoughtfully designed for comfort. The location is perfect and the surrounding views are stunning, yet just a short drive from anything you might need. Close to Skyline Drive and Shenandoah National Park (but honestly, it’s hard to leave the house because it’s so inviting). The layout offers a great balance between shared spaces and private areas, making it ideal for both relaxing together and finding quiet moments. Communication with the owner was always quick and easy. Highly recommended!

Thanksgiving

Our family came for our Thanksgiving. What a beautiful house and views around! The house was spacious and very comfortable. Everything was great and the hosts were so friendly and pleasant. They left us a delicious pear pie in the fridge. We will definitely come here again!

A Perfectly Wonderful Long Weekend at The Blue Spruce

This beautiful home is exactly as described in the VRBO listing. The location, the spectacular views, and the generous amenities were above and beyond anything we have ever experienced in previous VRBO rentals. There was even a lovely dessert tart in the refrigerator waiting for us. Our family of 8 gathered there for the wedding of our Grandson at a nearby venue. Our Hosts, Mr. & Mrs. Khan were so warm & welcoming, easy to communicate with, and quick to respond. Our family was so comfortable & happy there. We will definitely be back again.

Amazing experience!

This is literally the best VRBO we have ever stayed at and we travel alot! We came here for our niece's wedding and decided to rent this house for the long weekend. The place is gorgeous. The hosts were welcoming and wonderful. This was a 5 star experience. If we ever came back to Luray, we would rent this place again. The location was only 5 minutes from downtown Luray and you cannot beat the beautiful views from the deck.

Family and Friends vacation

Perfect house for our family and friends. Minutes away from Luray Caverns. The photos don’t do justice to the beautiful house located on a golf course. Fantastic view of the mountains from upper level. The house was fully equipped with everything we could need. Grocery stores are minutes away. Hassan was very accessible and was a pleasure to deal with. The owners left us a delicious Pear tart which we all enjoyed. Thank you, Hassan and Maryam for all you did to make our short stay very relaxing and enjoyable.

Spectacular experience at Blue Spruce

Our family getaway to Luray VA was made better by our stay at Blue Spruce. Hassan and Maryam extended a big welcome by allowing us to gather at their beautifully appointed home. The design was perfect for our group. Lots of space to gather as well as plenty of room for those who wished to do their own thing. It was hard to not leave the house because it was so comfortable and tastefully decorated. The house was spotless. All the essentials were provided. The Kahn’s even had a welcome gift for us waiting in the fridge. Thank you for the delicious pear tart!!! We spent a lot of time sitting on the deck taking in the beauty of the surroundings. We went into town and enjoyed all that Luray has the offer. We really loved our stay and would not hesitate to go back.

Awesome in every way!

First, I’d like this, thank Hassan and Maryam. They were our hosts and they could not have been better. They answered all of our questions in a kind and professional way. The home is lovely and was just right for our needs. The views are spectacular. The house has all the amenities, most family would want. The closeness to the golf course was a prime important to us as we had two teenage kids that love the game. The closeness to the city and to the attractions was very nice and made our trips back-and-forth very accommodating. All in all I’d give this an 11 out of 10. It was truly a spectacular vacation we had.

Family time

Met our 3 children with their spouses and toddlers. It was extremely hot outside, but luckily there was plenty of room for all of us to be together inside in the cool house. We stayed for 3 nights and was perfect to spend time w/all. Big room , kitchen, and dining table all open and able to feed young ones while also spending time with others in family room. And separate living area downstairs if needed a quiet area.

Location, location, location

The house was perfect for four couples going hiking at Shenandoah National Park. It’s two minutes from the grocery store and Walmart and a few minutes from the town of Luray. The house is beautifully situated on a golf course surrounded by mountains. The house was comfortable and equipped with everything we could need. The owner made himself very accessible and was a pleasure to deal with.

Highly recommend!!

My family were in town for a wedding and wanted a quiet place close to the venue to relax. This beautiful house was perfect for our family. The beds were extremely comfortable, the master bathrooms were luxurious and the kitchen was open and welcoming! The views from the deck were breathtaking! The owner went above and beyond my expectations from having water bottles, pie and ice cream in the fridge ( my mom’s birthday was the next day) to extra linens and tooth brushes in every bathroom. I highly recommend this VRBO property! We will be back!

Perfect family vacation

Our family had a wonderful time while staying at this beautiful home. The views and sunrises are gorgeous, and there's plenty for a family with a toddler to do. Hassan is an exceptional host, very attentive and always available. We would definitely stay again.

Terrific stay in a beautiful spot

We had a great stay here with three families, adults and small kids. Great kitchen to whip up a Thanksgiving meal. Gorgeous views, tons of rooms for the kids to run around, and an upstairs/downstairs divide for when the kids wanted to watch movies and the adults were looking to unwind. Would return in a heartbeat.

Fantastic Views

We thoroughly enjoyed our Fall family trip at Blue Spruce. Hassan was readily available for any questions, which is nice. The home had a great layout for our family and additional guest. It was clean, well kept, and well stocked with dishes, linens etc. The furnishings are nice and comfy too. The views are awesome. It is easily accessible, yet tucked away. We would definitely recommend it!

Wonderful, Highly Recommend!

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful Luray home surrounded by peaks and mountains and fields of green. Truly a treat for our eyes! The home is both comfortable/cozy and elegantly and tastefully decorated throughout. The split-level layout is great for multiple families or a family with younger/older children. Very peaceful and tranquil stay to kick-off Autumn. Hassan is an incredible host who really puts care and attention into making your trip enjoyable and hiccup-free. He reached out to check on us daily and welcomed us with fresh-baked goods and chocolates in our rooms. Excellent hospitality, beautiful home and views, and a marvelous stay overall! Highly recommend!

Luray - Shenandoah National Park

If you have the opportunity to rent this home, definitely do it! It is gorgeous and located on a beautiful property right outside Shenandoah National Park. It is spotlessly clean and well maintained. It is amazingly well appropriated. The owner is very attuned to any needs you may have......but you won't have any. There is an outdoor gas fireplace on the deck that we enjoyed several evenings. The master suite is beautiful and includes a large jacuzzi. The mountain views and sunrises are amazing. Definitely a five star property in every respect.

Beautiful house with a magnificent mountain view!

This place is absolutely spectacular. From the exterior of the home, to the detailed interior of the house, this is by far one of the best cabins I’ve been to. My friends and I stayed here to celebrate our new year and it was a time we will never forget. The Khan family went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcomed and comfortable in their beautiful home. Not only did they provide the basics but went above and beyond leaving us a welcome card, a beautiful cake, drinks, and checking on us periodically to ensure all of our needs were fulfilled. They have done an absolutely incredible job in the way they furnished and up-kept their home — the attention to detail is magnificent. Additionally, out of the many cabins we have been to, this was the only place with a checkout time of 3pm. That made all the difference for us. It is often very difficult to cleanup, get your kids ready, and leave by 11am. Having a checkout time of 3pm was the icing on the cake. We can’t wait to return to this beautiful property. Thank you to the Khan’s family for your generosity and unmatched hospitality! P.S. If you are like me and enjoy to watch a beautiful sunrise, surrounded by magnificent mountains, don't even think twice.

If all the VRBO’s I’ve stayed out, this was Undoubtably the very best!!

I’ve never had better service, more of a conscientious host than Harry who even brought fresh baked goods for our arrival in beautiful Luray located in the Shenandoah valley. His home was beautifully decorated and had 360’ views of the Blue Ridge from every room! Incredible, definitely want to come back. Trying to describe how perfectly manicured and tranquil this property was is hard to put into words. His place was so nice we’ve almost convinced our son to go to UVA to experience more of the local area. Well done sir, well done!

Quiet Respite from the City

My family and I had a wonderful time escaping the city for the 4th. Hassan's house was just what we were looking for. The house is located at the end of a quiet street and overlooks a golf course. During our stay, we saw deer, bunnies and a hummingbird, much to my toddler's delight. Hassan was very accommodating and was quick to answer questions.
