Even Better than the listing shows

Very nicely finished property that is also very practical. We had two families in the house and there was plenty of space for everyone, kitchen was great and well equip both for prep and feeding a decent number of kids. Location to all ski areas is just a few min drive.

Sugarbush and Super Bowl

We all absolutely loved staying at this house. It was beautiful. Owner was great. Very responsive and had excellent recommendations. Really thoughtful gift basket was waiting for us that was filled with delicious local foods. Had a professional chef come and cook us a pre Super Bowl dinner. He loved the kitchen. Highly recommended!

Beautiful house

What a beautiful property. House is amazing. Modern, comfortable, and beautifully furnished. All sorts of little awesome surprises, like some beverages in the drink fridge for guests. A spread of local snacks and such to enjoy. Hot tub was hot clean and ready to go. I would go six stars if that was an option. Would love to stay again. Hosts were very responsive and available even though we didn’t have any problems.

Fantastic stay near both Sugarbush mountains

Our family and another family stayed over a long weekend and had a wonderful time. Everything we could possibly need was already available at the house, from plenty of towels, comfortable sheets, and an amazing mudroom for all our gear. The house was immaculately clean upon our arrival, and everyone had plenty of space to gather together or to have alone time to read a book or relax. The owner is very responsive and provided clear instructions for both arrival and departure. For those who want, the bottom of the road is right on the bus route to Sugarbush. We chose to drive the short 5-10 minutes to get to the Mt Lincoln peak each day. We will miss being at this property, and look forward to a future stay!

What a lovely property! Attention to detail by the owners combined with a gorgeous home design where form meets function made this a wonderful stay for our family in the Mad River Valley. A fully equipped kitchen was the icing on the cake for our group. Thank you!

It was absolutely fabulous

This is the best place ever. It was very clean, well organized. The kitchen was very well stocked. You had EVERYTHING to make it your best vacation ever. If I ever come back to Vermont I will definitely stay here again. I loved it so much that I did not wanna go home. Thanks again for sharing your home.

Best STR in New England!

Absolutely amazing home! Location, design, amenities and features are all off the charts! The arrival gifts that have a VT flare were an amazing and great surprise. I have stayed here in the past as well. This property has now ruined me for any other homes I might stay at in future. I’m not sure how another could come close to this experience. The owners are amazing a fantastic communicators. I’m in love with this place.

5* rating does not do justice

Let me be honest - after a last year's nightmarish rental experience with a Vacasa property I was not looking forward to this trip. Everything looks great on paper but once you arrive you face the ugly reality... ...And I am happy to say I turned out to be totally wrong! The best thing is that you not just renting a house, you are renting the experience. It starts with the smoothest possible check in and continues to the most welcoming combination of a cosy house and a comfortable luxury hotel. The check out rules are as easy as a one liner too. You will find a lot of decorative items but nothing too personal, delightful refreshments, abundant local treats of all sorts and even bathrobes in every bedroom of 2 sizes. I already mentioned the house is modern which means everything is super easy to use and nothing is missing. We didn't cook but had to finished the catered food - we even found a pasta pot. The main suite has a bedroom, an office/walk in closet, a bathroom with a huge window, a giant state of the art shower cabin with powerful hot rain shower and beautiful bath. Fancy bath salt and Molton Brown full sized products provided by every bath/sink. Other bedrooms are cool too. We had 2 newly born babies, everyone felt at home. Everything is in the perfect working order. No stupid signs - all the instructions provided in the tasteful separate folder. 5 min from skiing and town, the Hosts are always there for you, you do feel welcome! We are back next year, Mod!

Always perfect getaway

We’ve been coming to this property for several years now, and it almost seems timeless. Every visit is as perfect as the first, from the initial check-in, having all the space needed for two families, immaculately cleaned, a great hot tub, excellent location to either Mt Ellen or Mt Lincoln of Sugarbush, and quick responsiveness from the owner. I’ll keep this review short because the previous reviews already cover it all, and it all the glowing recommendations remain true to this day.

Amazing Home

We are avid VRBOers. This home, Morrell House was gorgeous, so well cared for. The Super Host, Mod, was more than accommodating, going so far as to offer suggestions for activities and even lined up a caterer who made my wife’s birthday special (catered menu and bday cake). We will most definitely return for a visit…this ski season.

Top Notch Property!

This house truly is as good as it gets. The property has more conveniences then you need to enjoy a wonderful stay! Clean, modern with plenty of space and a terrific mudroom for your ski gear. Also a great location close to the mountain. We had a great day and would highly recommend this property.

Beautiful Modern Rustic Home

What a wonderful place to make family memories. Went for a spring ski weekend. Communication and check-in / check-out was easy. Truly beautiful home with lots of amenities. Loved the welcome basket of food which was a nice touch. Would definitely stay there again.

Perfectly maintained property

This is now our third year visiting this property, and our family still continues to look forward, eagerly, to our visits. The space is still meticulously maintained, as clean and new-looking as the first time we visited. The space is perfect for our extended family, with plenty of room to comfortably accommodate four younger kids, a teen, and four adults. Mod is always easy to communicate with, and we always feel welcome when we arrive. This is just such a great property to stay at, and we recommend this without hesitation to others.

The Morrell house is the best

...or at least one of the very best rentals we've experienced. This is the second winter we have booked a ski trip at Sugarbush and stayed at the Morrell House. Mod is a fantastic host. She is gracious, responsive, thoughtful, and very organized. The house is better than advertised. It's a great experience from start to finish. We wish it were ours.

Sensational property

This property hits it out of the park. The owner is fantastic and easy to deal with, the house is ideally located for skiing and the house itself is the perfect modern ski house. All details from the boot-drying rack and spacious mud room, hot tub, overall layout (easy for adults and kids to share), kitchen design and appliances (Breville and equivalent throughout), beautiful bathrooms (even the kids mentioned how nice the towels were), huge gas fireplace, sensational views, welcome basket filled with local treats, and stocked drink fridges (not a typo - two drinks fridges) are perfectly executed. By far and away the best rental we've had at Sugarbush. Thank you!!

We wanted to stay forever!

Our experience at Mod’s property was exceptional. Everything was perfect, including the view from the deck. We have traveled the world with VRBO…It feels wonderful to find a get away as special as this home (spacious, stylish, comfortable and impeccable) for our family to gather for special occasions so close to our own Vermont home. Our host was tremendous, clear, attentive and generous. This home is a stand out. We enjoyed every moment there.

Far Exceeded Expectations

We were in town for a Wedding. Everything about this property was exceptional. The spectacular mountain views and the beautiful & well appointed interior. The kitchen was well stocked and the snacks were a nice bonus. The master bedroom/bath was simply outstanding. No detail was overlooked in this home, it is absolutely beautiful. Mod was gracious and a pleasure to work with. Can't wait to stay here again.
