We observed some electrical issues on your departure and promptly contacted FPL (Florida Power & Light). Despite installing a newer meter, specific components were affected by the ocean salt, resulting in instability. Immediately, we installed another meter, ensuring stability for our future guests. Additionally, we are committed to thoroughly cleaning the dishwasher to maintain our standards. Once again, thank you for choosing to stay with us and for your gracious review. Regarding the AC, we acknowledged an issue upon your arrival and immediately called a professional HVAC company. The issue was resolved the same day, and we did offer you the option to cancel with a full refund, which you chose not to take. We’re sorry that this affected your stay. We take cleanliness very seriously. If we had been informed during your stay, we would have been happy to address any concerns. We’ll look into the areas mentioned and improve. Lastly, we did offer compensation post-checkout to address your concerns, including a complimentary night. We hope future guests will consider our efforts to resolve issues promptly and fairly.

Dear Debbie, Thank you for your review. This house is ocean front home and needs a lot of maintenance. We are proud of well maintaining and keeping up this ocean front home for our guests. The roof was replaced this year with the city permit and we also found out the dryer vent cap was missing due to the wind. That was the only leak in the washer and dryer room which did not affect your stay. If there is a leak, I can have maintenance stop by fairly quickly if it is reported to me while you stay. For the oven, it is a high end convection gas oven. It appears your issue was a user error and it worked during our phone conversation. This house is old but all replaced including Anderson French door to the balcony, new AC, new refrigerator and new roof. The house is sparkling clean before your arrival and all appliances are working conditions. The bedrooms and bathrooms arrangement was described correctly and clearly in VRBO Web description. Our home is oceanfront, which we’re proud to offer our guests, but we also understand that the salt air and constant exposure to the elements can make upkeep a continual challenge. That said, we absolutely take your concerns seriously and will be addressing the issues you mentioned, including maintenance on the deck, furniture, windows, and deep cleaning of the home and kitchenware. We also apologize for the inconvenience caused by the nearby construction.
