Located in Woods Bay, Georgian Bay, with the bonus of drive to, road access. This beautiful open concept cottage, offers 3375 sq.ft. of comfort and amenities. South-West exposure provides lots of sunshine on the dock and the mature wooded property offers shade if it gets too hot. The impressive Great Room features a cathedral ceiling, wood stove and large picture windows that capture the beautiful views of the waterfront and nature. Large family sized custom kitchen with huge double sink and an extra sink built into the island. All kitchen amenities included. Spacious dining room with walk-out to lakeside deck. The Den and Screened in Muskoka Room provides two extra living spaces and invites great opportunities for socializing, games and family time. Huge Master Bedroom with en-suite, walk-in shower and jetted bathtub. The outdoor space features 1.8 acres, 118 ft of shoreline. Ample furniture for a very comfortable cottage vacation. For the cottage guests and outdoor enthusiasts there is ample boating and multiple trails to explore. Come and experience Woods Bay Lookout and the entire Moon River Basin of Georgian Bay!

Beautiful property with stunning views from the cottage to the lake. Lots of shady areas to sit plus a beautiful beach area. Great for young kids to toddle around in. Everything you could ask for in the kitchen. The rooms are large and lots of space to play family games at night (or on a rainy day) without disturbing anyone. Lots of places to cuddle up with a good book. Exceeded our expectations!

Wood Bay Lookout

The cottage was beautiful with lots of room for our extended family to relax and play. The sandy beach was great for the kids to play on and the water was warm. We did catch a few pike right off of the dock. We did see a few water snakes in the water and a few snakes on the property (the highlight for our grandson). Overall, we had a great week.

Lovely family getaway

Comfortable quiet cottage, lovely view, the little kids enjoyed the sandy beach, swimming, catching frogs and turtles. They also loved the paddle boat. We took a boat and visited wreck island to snorkel around the wreck. Then onto Henrys fish and chips. The hosts were quick responding to any questions we had. We hope to return.

Great sandy beach entry for Georgian Bay stay

Our family had a great week at this cottage. Large cottage, muskoka room, a/c, sandy entry, great BBQ and good fishing/swimming - all we needed for a great Georgian Bay cottage week. Larger cottage than the pictures show, great sandy beach entry for young kids (two under 5 played in the shallow entry and beach all day). We caught northern pike and bass off the dock.

Beautiful cottage - perfect for families!

Our week at this cottage was stellar. The cottage is beautiful and much bigger than what it seems in the pictures. Our check-in process was easy and we arrived to a pristine clean cottage. The kitchen was well stocked and had a large table to seat everyone. It was perfect for a family - stocked with kids toys and books and has lots of room to play. The sandy beach was perfect for hours of outside entertainment for the kids and the shallow, weed-free entry to the lake was perfect for toddlers. The rooms were big and the view of the lake from the cottage were serene. While in the same small bay as a marina, the boat traffic was minimal. We thoroughly enjoyed our week as a family and would highly recommend.

Fantastic family getaway

What a perfect spot for a two-family summer getaway! We had an absolute blast. The house itself is perfect, with plenty of room for everyone, all the comforts of home, and lots of fun extras like shelves full of books and board games. We loved how it’s set back from the water among the shady trees. The waterfront is incredible too - the grassy space and the shallow-entry beach area are perfect for lounging, floating, and goofing around, the super long dock is a great spot for fishing, morning coffee or sunset drinks. Thanks for such a lovely time. (And it literally only rained just as we pulled up and just as we left — the weather was perfect. Thanks for arranging that for us!)

Good for all Ages

Spacious, great flow between rooms, wonderful views, especially from the living room. Also a wonderful book collection, lots of room for children to run, convenient boating and swimming -- and who wouldn't like to sleep in that four-poster bed?

Great stay and great location. Gord and Keegan are great hosts and the neighbors and local marina super friendly. Great beach for the kids and caught fish of the dock!

Beautiful Cottage

Our family spent the past week at the cottage and had a fantastic time!! Where to begin... the cottage is very open and spacious and the kitchen is gorgeous with lots of room to move around. It was so nice to stand in the kitchen and be able to look right out on to the water. The Great Room was beautiful with its large windows looking out on the water and a wonderful spot to do some reading. The dock is so long, it was great as we spent a lot of time during the day sitting out there while some went swimming, canoeing or paddle boarding. There were some mornings when it would feel cool up at the cottage and we would walk down to the end of the dock in the sun and it would be a lot warmer and we would all settle in and relax for the day. The property was immaculate when we arrived - all amenities needed were on site. We hope to visit again next year

Great Stay!

We had a great time at the cottage! The property is very big and the cottage is very open and nice inside (exactly like pictures). Loved the dock and the bay was great to go boating on! Highly recommend :)

Excellent getaway for families

This is a wonderful property in a great location. The pictures tell the story well - large cottage, set back from Woods Bay, with a beautiful shoreline and excellent beach access. The 100' dock is amazing, great for brining in watercraft, and far enough out that the water is quite deep (8') at the end of the dock. The fire pit is a great feature, and a relaxing way to end a fun day on the beach. Everything was in top working order, a very well equipped kitchen, and lots of space and dining area options for a big group. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Excellent cottage

We spent a week at this property and had a great time. The cottage is large and has everything you need for a great stay. The place is clean and very well maintained. It is set on a beautiful spot with a nice view down to the lake. The lake has an easy entry suitable for kids and a long deck. The owners made everything easy and we look forward to returning again.
