3 habitaciones directamente frente al océano para una vista impecable Summerhouse 252

Esta es nuestra vista al mar de tres dormitorios / dos baños. Entras en el primer piso y no tendrás que preocuparte por subir escaleras. Esto hace que su estadía sea más conveniente sin la necesidad de subir y bajar equipos de playa. La unidad tiene suficiente para dormir siete. Está amueblado con un rey en la suite principal, rey en la segunda habitación y dos gemelos en nuestro tercer dormitorio. No acepta reservas por menos de una semana. Pisos de baldosas en todo lo que lo hace fresco para el verano y fácil de limpiar de la arena. ¡En Summerhouse tenemos 4 piscinas con temperatura regulada para elegir en la propiedad, lo que hace que sea cómodo nadar durante todo el año! También hay cuatro canchas de tenis, dos canchas de racquetball y una cancha de pickleball. Tenemos dos áreas de parrillas y dos parques infantiles para los niños convenientemente ubicados en cada extremo de la propiedad. Nuestra área común alrededor de las piscinas está cubierta de hierba deliciosa y bien cuidada con un corto paseo hasta la playa. Nuestra unidad de alquiler cuenta con un amable personal de recepción y mantenimiento en el lugar para ayudar a resolver cualquier problema rápidamente en caso de que surja. Tenemos una pequeña biblioteca y un gimnasio disponibles durante el horario comercial normal para su comodidad.

Stone vacation

Reviewer Comments: We had a good experience other than finding a snake in my husbands shoe after he took it off and left them in the bedroom for about an hour and our two year old grandson went to put his foot in them and said “ewe”. Yep, there was the snake sitting there looking out at us!!! Needless to say, I did not sleep that night waiting for his siblings and mom to show up next. The home itself was good except the bed in first bedroom is SO hard that it felt the same as sleeping on the floor. The keys that we were given were very hard to unlock the door with and we learned that you had to continually wiggle it until it would finally open. (It took about 7 to 10 wiggles) We did like the convenience of the end unit of course. I’m not sure that we would rent that unit again though.

Can't see the beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love Summerhouse but we are having trouble with not being able to see the beach from our beach front condo. I had the same problem but got it resolved but this year no one would listen even though I spoke with the EPA and the county. I also gave them information of who to contact with the EPA to resolve this for the future. The reason we pay more to have a beach front condo is so we can see the beach but the vegetation keeps that from happening. This has been give to the manager so that all the condos on the beach will have a clear view. Hopefully they will do something about it because there is no reason not to according to the EPA. It is a shame that they don't just handle this instead of the customer having to do this and follow up themselves.

Disappointing Accomodations

Reviewer Comments: We have stayed in this same condo for several years and its condition continues to decline! (While its rental fee increases!) The furnishings are old, drawers of dressers are broken, there is mold visible on walls in bathroom and ceilings, water leaks near front door and back door, it desperately needs paint, rug in living room is filthy (we had a 9 month old crawling around ) and the overall condition is very poor for an expensive oceanfront rental.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Summerhouse is a great location with very friendly people. Beautiful beach. Unit 252 needs a complete update! The master bathroom has a strong odor of urine! Bathroom faucets spray all over the place. Beds need new pillows. The sliding glass door is extremely difficult to open. My 8 and 9 year old grandchildren were unable to open. I feel this is a fire hazard! The screen door also needs replaced or at least new rollers.The electric grill doesn’t work. I have rented this unit for 3 years now and these are the same issues I have put on my survey, with no improvements.

Great location, Condo needs some work

The location of the condo is perfect for getting to the beach. The condo could use some improvements. The bathrooms are old and dingy. Neither bathroom had a working lock, which I've seen in other reviews and am surprised such an easy fix has not been made. The sliding back door is very difficult to open. On our last morning we went for a walk on the beach and came back to find that our code to get back in the gate was turned off. We were locked out. This is unacceptable. If you pay to have the unit until 10am then your beach code should work until then.

If you were outside you couldn't open it to get back in the unit . We had to leave a small crack to get out hand through to be able to open it . The other issue was the master bathroom door would not lock. Other than those two things we loved our unit 252.

2019 Harvey Family Vacation

The only downside was the bushes in front was blocking the view of the ocean from the patio unless you were standing up. The whole point of ocean front is the view of the beach and ocean . I am a morning person and love to have my coffee and watch the sun rise over the ocean . Having to standup was definitely not a good expierence . We did ask to have the bushes slightly trimmed to allow us to see the view and it never happened . Other than that our stay was definitely enjoyable. WE love Summerhouse and have been coming for about 30 years.

The beds were comfortable and the 3bed/2bath layout works well for sharing with family! Very happy to see several good quality patio chairs. Dining table seats 8 which is nice, and the living room furniture is very comfy and the TV is huge! Proximity to pool is a big plus. :)

We’ve stayed in 252 many times as well. I felt the unit was not as clean as it could be and not sure what Covid cleaning was because it didn’t appear to be much. I brought my own cleaning supplies. The sliding glass door is very difficult to open. The vacuum cleaner does not work. Kitchen need hot pads and several plastic bowls had cracks in them. We love the location of the unit and have reserved again for next. Just wish these few things were fixed.
