Nuestro hermoso artesano de 2 dormitorios que admite mascotas tiene una ubicación céntrica. Ubicado entre Hillcrest y Mission Hills, nuestra ubicación es accesible a innumerables cafeterías, restaurantes y bares. Estamos a poca distancia en auto del centro de la ciudad, el distrito de Gaslamp, el parque Balboa, el zoológico SD, Midway y Coronado. Esta encantadora casa es perfecta para parejas, aventureros en solitario, viajeros de negocios, familias (con niños) y sus amigos peludos. ¡Esperamos recibirlo! Nuestro encantador espacio que admite mascotas incluye 2 habitaciones con camas queen size, sala de estar con sofá cama American Leather Co., lavandería con extra grande lavadora Maytag y 1 baño con ducha (sin bañera). La cocina viene con todo lo que necesita, incluyendo estufa de gas, microondas y cafetera. Hay ventiladores de techo en la sala de estar y dormitorio principal. Wifi, Roku TV y una oficina en casa hacen de nuestra casa el refugio perfecto después de un día de turismo. Junto con el encanto de una antigua casa Craftsman, también hay algunas peculiaridades. San diego adventure

Cute small house located in the middle of about anything you wanna do. Quiet spot with all needed amenities. Great communication and was able to park our dirtbike trailer in the driveway for the trip. Helen out neighbor was absolutely great. Would definitely stay again

It wasn't awful

1. The door code for the rental was unreliable. It took texting back and forth with the property manager and waiting outside in the cold for 20 minutes before I received a code that worked. Each time we returned to the rental it took 20 minutes to try different door codes until one worked.2. The property has unreliable electrical. We came back from dinner at 9 pm, walked in and turned on the lights and the lights went out. We had to go find the fuse box and reset the breaker. 3. The advertisement was for a bed and a sofa sleeper but there were not enough sheets and blankets to accommodate both sleeping areas. 4. The property is across the street from the hospital. Since you do not get the address until 3 days before checking in it is too late to cancel the reservation. Ambulances went by with sirens throughout the night.5. It was text only communication so when the door codes were not working it took longer to get a code that worked because we had to wait for a text reply rather that just talking to a person while trouble shooting the door.We will not stay here again but it is a great location for someone who has a family member in the hospital.

Exactly as promised

The property was represented exactly as it was Great location They provided a parking pass which was essential as there is no weekday parking in the area Sweet little yard Note that there is no dishwasher or garbage disposal and refrigerator is not full sized and kitchen could probably use an update but totally adequate for our needs

The perfect Hillcrest stay!

My parents came to visit and with my apartment being too small to host them, I rented this cottage for them with the convenience that it's only 2 blocks away from me. It was absolutely perfect in every way. They raved about its comforts and charm throughout their stay. They wanted for nothing as it is well stocked with everything they could need. With it being tucked behind the main house it's off the street and private (and quiet). You occasionally pass the front house guests on the walkway but it was such a pleasant and easy experience overall. Will absolutely be rebooking this place for any future family visits!

Great get away

We definitely enjoyed our stay here. For it being an older home it was very clean and had just about everythin we needed. The owners were very helpful with any questions or concerns we had. Great location only bein 10-15 minutes away from the zoo and sea world. Would stay here again!

Perfect conveniently sited private stay

Apart from noise from hospital and construction this was a delightful place to stay. We enjoyed the secure lot for our 2 well behaved dogs..beware of visiting skunk at night tho. We appreciated the locale..can walk to supermarkets a wide range of delicious eateries for when you dont want to cook. Everything that is needed for cooking is available and gas stove works wonderfully. We recommend this place.

Cute, quirky, older GEM

This gem is an older mother-in-law style home. Compact, a bit quirky, well maintained, very clean, and stocked with all that you need in your home away from home. Location is perfect for visiting patients of UC San Diego Health hospital — as we were — just a three-block walk. The Hillcrest neighborhood to the south is full of good restaurants and shops, as well as San Diego’s “gayborhood.”

Cute Bungalow

Overall the stay was great! The home was clean, nicely decorated and had a very "homey feel". Check in and departure instructions were easy to follow. My pups were with me and they enjoyed the yard. Restaurants were within walking distance and we were only about 10 minutes from Little Italy which was nice. The only downside was the parking, which is why I gave the stay 4/5. There were "Temporary tow away" signs (we notified the owner as soon as we arrived) so we were unable to park on the street without risking getting towed even with a parking permit (we confirmed with parking enforcement). The owner informed us we can park in the driveway until the guests from the front house arrived on our last day. On our last day, we received a text message ordering us to move our car without an alternative suggestion as to where we can park. We ended up working it out with the front guests. The man was rude and pushy, but we ended up coming to an agreement. I think it would have been helpful for the front guests to be aware of the parking issues (maybe they would have been more understanding and not as rude) in addition to being provided an alternative suggestion. I understand the parking situation is out of the owner's control, but there could have been a better way to handle it. No one wants to risk getting their car towed.

Great location but not an accurate listing

The rental was in a great location, close to local restaurants and 15 minute drive to most attractions and the beach. When we arrived, the rental was almost 80 degrees inside. There was a small window air unit that we immediately turned on. It was unable to cool the entire bungalow because it was only rated for 150 square feet. I contacted to property manager who eventually had a fan delivered that evening. This helped, but the living room was very warm for my children to sleep. Also, the wifi stopped working on our second day and the issue was not resolved. Although this was in a great location, I would not stay here again because of these issues.

Enjoyable stay

Overall we loved our time here . The place is very small but practical.. Washer and dryer are very temperamental to use but we got there in the end . We loved walking to all the coffee shops etc. We would stay here again

No Big Surprises

Clean, bed was comfortable, everything was there if we wanted to cook, good water pressure in the shower head, heat worked well enough. Second blanket could use washing/dry cleaning, internet went out randomly the last couple of days, shower/tub needs modifications to be safe for older adults, would rather have a regular coffee maker than a Keurig.

Perfect little house and yard

We stayed for a month here and it was perfect for us and our little dog. The yard is fenced in and private so the dog could have some freedom. We cooked dinners and had all the pans and utensils we needed. The location is great, close to everything. We did lots of walking in the neighborhood with the dog and it felt safe with lots of other dog walkers around. Good restaurants nearby. Would definitely recommend this spot.

Great location

Perfect place for a group of <2 adults and 1-2 small children. 2nd bed is a pullout in the living area. Space is limited, but has an outdoor courtyard for more space to spread out. Bathtub/shower is very small, but to be expected from a space this size.

Good location but shows its age

One word, rugged. It is not a rental for everyone, especially the disabled. The entrance and clawfoot tub eliminate this market and should be known upfront. The original electric wiring in the house, and the use of extension cords to compensate for wall outlets, gives one pause. The absence of both smoke and carbon monoxide detectors to be noted. As a dog lover myself, it is wonderful that this rental permits dogs. However, so does the front house on this shared property. "Beware of Dogs" maybe not enough to keep pooches from jumping the 3 foot picket gates. To its credit, this rental has installed quality appliances and sufficient cooking equipment. Also, a supply of wine glasses for those tall enough to reach them in the cabinetry. However, lack of prep counter makes expansive meals challenging. Best to order in (there are great food and beer delivery possiblities). The house’s gas heating system works fast and well. The Roku tv programming better than nothing. Washer and dryer located in back of front rental house are modern and large, but in my case wouldn't turn on. Perhaps electricity issue. But if you need to be in the Hillcrest area, this may be the house for you. It is quiet, clean with high end kitchen appliances and the bed is comfortable.

Accurate description convenient casita

Personally I think a small cottage is always nicer than just a room. Even though this place is kind of dated, we loved the convenient location. Very nice to have a nice laundry on site. Sometimes I worry with pet friendly places, but I couldnt smell pet odor. Be aware the electrical system is for a tiny house. I would rent this again.
